Something to be aware of, not all machines have the same type of hoops. Refer to your manufacturer recommendations for the correct way to use the hoops for your machine.
To get rid of your water soluble topper, just spritz with water! You can wipe with a qtip or very soft kids toothbrush. Saves from throwing it in the washer
As I've had it for a few years now, I can't really unbox it. Everyone's experience is going to be different, because some stores will do initial setup, tensioning, etc. I have never had to touch the tension on mine as an example.
omg beanies are the BANE of my existence with my machine. This helps so much, thank you! (also my machine always sounds so ANGRY, I'm jealous). I need to look into cut away stabilizer too, I always use tear away lol
Serephita the “rule” for embroidery is if you wear it don’t tear it. So tshirts, swestshirts, fleece and other stretchy items should be cutaway. No show mesh also works very well on the above fabrics. Save your tear away for woven fabrics like cotton, vinyl and denim.
Kittenz... You really make me want an embroidery machine ;-; But I love that you've been making beanies! Also, what is that pink wand that you rubbed off the caught washable interfacing with?
Thank you for the tutorial! I look forward to doing beabies soon on my V3. Do you find that you waste a lot of thread when changing threads? Seems so. Is there a way with your machine to waste less? Looking forward to many more tutorials!
I had never seen 1 of these. I always seen the sewing machine with the embroidery included. I was looking for where to purchase one if u don't mind saying where did u get yours?
- just came across your channel - this is what I was needing to know/learn -- if I may - make a suggestion - that you add the ---PRS 100--- to the title of your video - there aren't many videos for this machine . . Happy HoHolidays
Best beginner tutorial for beanies and I’ve watched a few 🙏
Thank you, such a helpful video!

Yep, I mentioned that because of the fact that I have to screw the tension down on my hoops. A lot of the lower end models have clamps.

So very helpful thank you Is it possible to show the setup of the machine starting at unboxing the machine

Good day,
Can you please show us how you embroider on vinyl for bags. Also, vinyl with foam
Yes! I actually have that on my list of video content to make.

My machine is a BEAST. I love it and am thankful for investing in it!

Hi. When you do embroidery on vinyl would you use also the water soluble on top and what size needle is best.
I don't, honestly. I still use 75/11 though one size up would work fine too!
that was great, I learned alot!
Nice informative video. Thank you
Very cool! Thank you.

That was a seam ripper I got at Joanns!
What cut away stabilizer do you use? What type and weight of thread do you use?
I’m using a medium weight cut away, one layer, then the thread weight is a standard 40 polyeon by Madeira.
Thank you for the tutorial! I look forward to doing beabies soon on my V3. Do you find that you waste a lot of thread when changing threads? Seems so. Is there a way with your machine to waste less?

You could unroll old thread and rethread new one. Zero waste but it takes about a minute longer
So nice! What type of machine is this?
That one was PRS100 by Brother. I upgraded to a 10-needle (Brother PR1055X) recently though.
I had never seen 1 of these. I always seen the sewing machine with the embroidery included. I was looking for where to purchase one if u don't mind saying where did u get yours?
I got mine from a local Brother dealer! It’s the only legit way to get one.

Oh that's a good point! Funny thing is, I traded up for a PR1055X a few months later LOL!
LOVE the SW tattoos btw :)
Can you upload your own design to the machine?
Yep! You can directly connect the machine via USB cable or you can use a USB fob to transfer.
what brand and model is this machine?
This is my older machine that I sold off. It was the Brother PR 1055 X. I now use a Ricoma MT-1501.
Aloha! What brand of cutting mat do you use, please? (Maybe include an affiliate link?) thanks
It's Fiskars! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000YZASYO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@fiercekittenz ta very much 😉
Where did you buy your beanie’s please?
I actually sourced these from Amazon!
Where do you get your patterns to do it because I’m barely starting
I design them myself using the Hatch Embroidery software!
