I inherited an Innov-is 4000D Disney 50th machine. My mom passed away. I know they no longer make the machine. However, i flew from Maryland to Texas, packed all her stuff and drove back to Maryland. I haven't come across any software or anything. How can i get a hold of the proper materials and software for this machine? I can't seem to find much on it, and I've never embroidered before.

@@deannacapps84 It is not recommended to push baseball hats flat to do them in this kind of embroidery machine. Baseball hats turn out best when using a machine with a free arm.
You can embroider on baseball caps in a flat bed machine with a special hoop. However, it does tend to mess up the shape of the hat. It is best to embroider hats on a multi needle machine that has a free arm so you can use a cap driver that is curved to match the shape of the hat.
I personally, have two ways, One uses basting tape attached to the frame I am going to use. Then I add the stabilizer over the tape, then another piece of basting tape on the stabilizer, my fabric, and that's it. The other one is using the basting spray on the stabilizer, and attaching the stabilizer to the frame using basting tape, and the fabric to the sprayed surface of the stabilizer. In both cases, I use wash-away stabilizer on top of the fabric, and it may or may not be fixed like she showed in the video.
