I'm incredibly surprised there was pressurisation of the cabin. Laughing minutes into this video. So good lol.
Although of course, the plane doors actually open inwards IRL, making them nearly impossible to open mid-flight.
@@Mini_Squatch Actually, plane doors open outwards. The reason why it is so difficult to open is due to the difference in pressure from the inside and outside of the aircraft, as well as the speed of the aircraft making the wind too strong.

This video was a wave of nostalgia. I remember Dan building Turtle Floaty Boi the Flurb as well as him refusing to go out at night due to creepy crawlers in minecraft. I've been spoilt for gaming content since i found this channel and i never even knew it.

@@HOTD108_ Okay so look back at some of Nerd 3 oldest videos you'll find a series of him building huge minecraft structures. And I mean really fucking old, before his spore series. before Father and son-day was on the channel.

It also has engine destruction physics and multiple layers to the plane walls
You can do full on lua scripting in this game's custom maps if you really want to. I made a working SCP 018 (basically a bouncy ball that progressively gains speed, smashing down walls and windows as it goes until becoming too fast to hold itself together and detonating)
Dan: "Hmmm, what video should I release 6 days before the 20th anniversary of 9/11?"
Also Dan: "I've got it!"

The World Trade Center planes were 767’s. There isn’t really an issue with this. Now if it was uploaded on the 11th, it’d definitely be dodgy.

The orchestra of crashing metal and glass breaking to Dan's calm "hang on.. wait" is the best thing I've heard all day. Like he's trying to pilot and elevator as it shatters around him and he's acting like this is normal

Personally I would be a little more concerned with the C4 or him having the ability to control physics

If they put some sort of plane heist in the main game, with more consistent and realistic plane physics and an improved framerate, that would be incredible

Dan I'd say is the most nostalgic and still one of the only actually enjoyable creators who've been around for so long. Thank you so much for enlightening me at such young ages.
As someone who Literally watched the 24hr Flight sim streams (again) yesterday and the day before I seemingly can't escape Dan at 30,000ft.
Also My favourite stream was always Dan on teardown mods.

The physics gun is the best mod, because it produces so many amazing moments! Shaking the plane and causing it to lose altitude was one of the funniest things I’ve seen.
The C4 is a very close second place, of course.

When it's a well made mode people tend to use it. Given all the details in it , I'm not surprised its frequently used.

I haven't watched Dan in years. Hearing that "Hellloo procrastinators!" in the same tone as always put such a smile on my face. Literally brings me back to watching him build stuff in rollercoaster tycoon 3, or when he was completing Bully. Dan literally raised me through RUclips. I'm 18 now, that's bizarre to think i've been watching him for as long as I can remember. Quite literally, Dan *raised* me on the internet whether I realized it or not, he made my game taste what it is now; and i'm sure he's done the same for plenty of others, too.
What a nostalgic time.
I just have to say I have been watching since like 2013 I think, and you deserve so much more renown than you have amassed, I find myself coming back after all these years, and you never cease to make me smile, by the far the best lets player to ever exist. I love you, Dan.

After seeing this video, I decided to pick up the game, and today though "I'll play the tutorial maybe a level or two", sat down to play, and suddenly it had been 7 hours.

I watched your previous video on this game right before falling asleep, so I dreamt about it all night. It was both an intriguing and a horrifying experience.
I laugh every time someone opens the plane mod, and after 2 seconds opens the door and is shock when they nearly get sucked out of the plane.

Holy shit, nerd 3, i havent seen a recommendation for your channel in forever
The physics is on point as well here. Everything getting sucked out of a hole only happens once every time you reset the aircraft, because it simulates the loss of cabin pressure. Once it's gone it's gone. You might be able to patch up all the holes somehow and re-pressurise it, but I don't know if that's scripted into the physics engine.
