On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

Ah, bringing a bullet-riddled A10 back to base. THAT'S the GS A10 mission profile I remember.
When we say "F-22 Raptor doing Raptor bullshit" we mean "Being disrespectfully better in every technological disciplin". When we say "A-10 doing A-10 bullshit" we mean "Obliterating everything while being too angry to die".
My friend Anthony Miller was saved from an ambush in the Afghanistan by a A-10 and a ISR drone. The drone saw the ambush about to happen, JTAC called in a strike, an A-10 came in, and sent those fuckers to the afterlife. It's the only thing he ever told me about his service, this how much the Army loves Air Force A-10's. As the son of an F-4F crew chief I am so proud how much A-10's mean to the guys on the ground. Mad respect to anyone that has served or is serving. Just know true patriots love you! Edit: correcting typo's.
Went to my Toyota dealer and asked for the Tundra with optional DSHK 12.7mm heavy machine gun mounted on the bed. My request was denied but they did offer a full tank of gas and 1 year of free detailing. Not sure if that'll help against an A-10 strafing run though.

Eh, the Shop will get some souvenirs they can hand out like challenge coins. Not often you get to see the innards of an engine that's seen some 12.7s run through it. I'm sure the boys at the GE shop back stateside will also partake, even if they write off the engine...

I like these A10 videos. They show how useful it can be and why people don't want it retired, while simultaneously showing how niche of a platform it is and why retiring it to free up resources for platforms that will be of more useful longterm is a perfectly reasonable opinion.

Set a budget and you can bring as many (or few) aircraft that come in on the set budget.

The APKWS, which is a great choice for balancing out the TGP, would make short work of those technicals, without you having to get close.

Yup, a 2,000lb JDAM does end firefights real fast. One side stops firing because they have run out of targets to shoot at, and the other side stops because they are in pieces all over the place. 😅

It'd be cool to see you try to recreate something like Operation Anaconda. IIRC it was a Ranger CSAR mission to pick up a downed chinook heli crew that was sent out to get a SEAL. Ended up having to walk some like 500lb bombs up the other side of the same hill that the Rangers were on. They were within a couple hundred meters of the enemy, but they were overwhelmed and had to get air support. Shit is crazy. There are youtube documentaries on it so I'm sure you could get actually accurate data on stuff to set up the mission. I think it was one or two F-16s that dropped the bombs

This is completely unrelated but when I was working as a ramp rat back in the 80s at LAX the DC-10 always had a specific whine on take-off and I noticed from hearing a lot of A-10s in my past that the same whine is always present, or my tinnitus is getting way worse.

But how did you set the gbu-12 up (as in the profile page etc). I know how to use them but some people who watch won't know that. You should try to introduce the set-up for certain bombs into your videos (which are great otherwise).
