On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I love the combined arms content; complex enemy air defenses on the ground and in the air, allied bombers and supporting fighters, and ground troops making tracks, it's beautiful.
There is no greater sound than "BRRRRRTTTTT" followed by the screech of those twin engines overhead.
Yeah, the A-10 is still a very effective weapon. After you knock out the enemies' air force with Raptors, and take out all their radars and air defenses with F-35s, nothing rolls out the red carpet better for the friendly troops on the ground than the A-10. 😅
Its true but A-10 pilot still have to keep in mind that there could be some soldiers with handheld AA launchers.

Old retired guy and former soldier here, and I’m currently learning the A10 CII. You answered the question I came to ask about targeting at the 9:50 mark in the video about which view you use to find targets. I’m training on Mavericks now, and I’m having a difficult time targeting any targets that aren’t out in the open. I was constantly on CCV mode instead of using the white hot or black hot to locate targets, then switching back. Changing to white or black hot should rectify the problem. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your videos.
A10 was built for near peer adversaries. Once enemy air defenses are eliminated. Lots of ground forces will be left. The A10 is a crucial force multiplier for friendly infantry.

The CBU-105 WCMD is the Wind Corrected Munition Dispenser version of the CBU-97. Can use that CCRP and not have to worry about the wind carrying your bomblettes. away.

From an ex-grunt's point of view, I love the fly-bye at the end of the video. We would have loved to pay for the pilots drinks but were never invited in to the officers bar.
I remember watching A10’s flying around the south of Germany on training back in the 90’s. Incredible to watch. Freaking cool - I think partly because they were slow but so manoeuvrable, doing loops one chasing another.
I gotta say I watch all your vids. The A-10 is my favorite. @Growlingsidewinder said it best. The time on target makes this plane so great. They say the A-10 has 2 half engines but I think they did it for the sake of redundancy and that adds reliability!

Anytime we have boots on the ground and they’re in contact with the enemy, the A-10 will always be viable. They should make a Warthog II.

I know, that it‘s hard to pull of in the air to air videos, but it‘s very good in this one.
The A-10 seems to be the perfect ground support air ship to knock out entrenched enemy equipment and make it possible for forces to advance quickly They knockout or mop up what the stealth bombers missed ! It’s a devastating blow to the enemy !
Now you've just got to do the F 16 version. Especially that legendary move when you went in low and fast against ADA

Just as I was thinking about why there were so many missiles being launched you answered about drones! Those drones would be sending the GPS coordinates for the launchers. You can imagine the GMLRS would be the 181K tungsten penetrators that cover a 180 m radius circle! Yeah a 2K bomb is way too big for BMP! I imagine the friendlies love it when you buzz them after covering their fronts!

It's going to be a sad day when the A-10 is finally retired. I guarded them for 10 years. I didn't even know they existed until I enlisted, but they quickly became the number 2 jet on my list of favorites. (The F-14 has had a place in my heart since I was like 5. Nothing is going to take the top spot from it.)

I brought the A-10 on line in the 70's. I have been down range to see what the cluster bombs and 2klb ordinance can do. DCS cannot simulate the shock waves!
