On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Why was your Master Caution flashing during landing?
Other than the AAA, this mission was easy. No enemy outhouse for the A-10 to eliminate this time.
That outhouse will forever be the A-10’s nemesis on this channel and I am all for it.
Would rather face a su35 than another outhouse
@@GrowlingSidewinder Russia has much higher production numbers of outhouses than of SU35's, so they will overwhelm you with quantity.
It has been proven that an outhouse is a more effective WMD than a nuclear weapon.

This part of the video illustrates exactly what many people don't understand about anti-aircraft defense. The objective of an anti-aircraft battery is not to destroy the threat (if this is achieved, the better), but to force the pilot to rush his firing, increasing the time he have to aim, maybe making he rush a run and therefore reducing his lethality. At that moment in the video, even apparently ineffective anti-aircraft guns were very useful in supressing the air atack, protecting their assets, at least for a time lol.

Love A-10C content! Keep it coming! The bomb on the helo was insane and really funny! It'd be fun see more missions that have air and land targets, putting the Warthog into a multi-role scenario.
PLEASE, do more A10 things as a European, I am fascinated and baffled how the US government wants to replace these. Must be such a morale booster hearing that cannon and then the impact of the projectiles.

what would be cool to see is a scenario where there are a bunch of us units being over run and you need to save the day in an a10. or multiple units around different areas on map all being over run with heavy armour and stuff like that
You can drop the CBU-97 (and -87) in CCRP mode. Being off by a few meters doesn't bother the cluster bombs. Also, the APKWS is a great anti-helo option. Helos are too slow to evade, flares won't distract them, and the AP warhead penetrates the armor and blows up inside the helo.
Why don't you try a ground strike mission in the A10 but with enemy fighters active, but get a buddy to cover you in an F16 ..
Bit more aerial enemy threat for the A10 but with some backup.

Excellent content man. Really love the A-10 stuff, especially. I always feel like in the flight sim genre, the ground support/strike stuff is sorely lacking, and it really is a whole different kind of fun and very tense!
That first helicopter was just trying to rescue his family from the hostile area they were stationed and you killed them all.. Murderer.

The A-10 content is killer!!
Small suggestion: On missions where the A-10 gets chewed up a bit maybe a post-flight walk around from outside the aircraft to assess the damage. (With audio of the crew chief ripping the pilot a new one!)

Really love the A-10 content. Wonder if there’s a skin for the A-10 from the 122nd FW that used to have them in FWA. The Blacksnakes had a special, all black painted a A-10 that commentated the 100th anniversary of the Indiana Air National Guard. The 122nd recently lost their A-10’s to redeployment to other unites in preparation for F-16’s coming sometime next year. I’m not sure where they all got repositioned to, but I know some went to MTN with the 175th FW.
I’d love to see the all Black A-10 from the 122nd if it exists in DCS.

A-10 fly over sounds are really cool! Remember the sounds from air shows as a kid.
Because of the straight wings, the A-10 has a relatively low stall speed, making it easier to handle at low speeds such as when you land.

A10 air to ground actions are cool to watch. I would be happy to see some harrier AG shit. It is a great plane too for ag missions. More vulnerable compared to A10 but can carry some advanced ordenance like the sidearm, also can loft bombs from big distances due its much higher speed. It is a very good plane to fly in dcs, I think razbam did great job on that module.

A F-15 did do an air to air kill on a helicopter with a JDAM during one of the gulf wars.

Great job aiming at the wheels of the helo in point track mode. The issue is if you see the center of the aircraft, the Targeting sensor DOES NOT! The bomb would go long because the targeting pod knows the earth's terrain and nothing else on it man made.

The HMD has a feature where it can pin and mirror the tgp feed on the hmd. you can probably dedicate a while video to this feature

I saw a Lindeybeige video a while back about a flame thrower that never got any kills but the morale effect on the allies vs the enemies made it worth while keeping. I feel like the same argument could be made for the A10. Can any of you guys name another system that isn't worth it on paper, but has such a huge impact on morale on both sides that it's worth keeping anyway?
I'd say the F-22. We all know the story by now: beloved as it is, everyone wants to shelve it due to its cost and relative lack of versatility compared to the F-35.. yet you can guarantee that an opposing force would think twice about putting anything into the air if they knew F-22's were prowling around. It doesn't even need to shoot down the enemy, it just has to sneak up on them and politely request that they go home... or else.

Just yesterday I‘ve seen an interview with „KC“ about flying the A10 and how she was almost shot down over Baghdad.
Also she pointed out that no one is prepared for the first gun run. Everything must be shacking
the lessons are clear: keep moving, always have a plan-to relocate, exit, etc.

Lesson here is if you're ever in a position where you're in a AAA and the A10 breaks off and you aren't dead, then it's coming back around and your chance of life got substantially shorter.
