Been able to manual for 6 months or so. Going to the skatepark today and haven’t ridden for a while so I thought I’d visit this channel again. Thanks for the video!
I have a video suggestion if you are up to making it. Could you possibly do a how to bunny hop manual? Like being able to hop onto something and do a manual. I’m confident with my manuals but I can’t hop manual onto anything to save my life lol. If you do make it then it’d be very much appreciated
3:34 I went from a race bmx with breaks two a street bmx with no breaks, if you got breaks you can fether your break to keep the manual going. or if your going to loop out pull your break so the front wheel gos down but if your breakless like me now, pump with your knees and your arms 👍
2:08 Go to a car park and use the lines on the floor, Try manual one carpark space when you can do that see how far you can go set goals for yourself, Try two carpark spaces then try manual the whole carpark 👍
Nice man! I tried it so many times but i can't get it, i need so much force and extreme leaning to the back wheel, and still i can't raise the front more than 10cm from the floor, do you think it can be a frame - height issue?
It's possible. If you have a larger frame, it'll def make it harder to pull up. Not impossible, but difficult. Think about like 29" bikes, its super hard to manual on that, but people are able to. Just need to adjust and find that sweet spot
@@DustinNotJustin i think im going to learn bunny hop do you have tutorial on that? And btw i have been learing manual on bmx 1 year and i thinked maybe i should check on youtube how to do it and your video was the first one and i have spot in my yard so much spots like the thing where you place your bike and do something and do you have the bunny hop tutorial??
Everytime I manual I have it for a couples seconds and I feel i could keep going but whats stopping me is the fact that my body leans to the right but my arms are straight. I really dont understand
Ive had this problem too, it could be your back wheel is bent (needs to be trued), or try adjusting your feet placement (even a small adjustment like 1 inch to the left will make a difference) or try putting your left hand over to the left slightly more too. But yeah those small adjustments will help
Just saw your channel, no brakes. So in that case it’s really a practice thing. You just have to find that right position between not enough pull and pulling too much. I’d start off small like hopping over a stick to get into the manual then move onto a longer object. Then a curb. Etc
@@Mainroad.Manjis101 well i still can`t do them. i few bad loopouts got me kinda scared so i moved over to other tricks for now. wierd thing is that if i do normal manual i loopout i can always hop off but in hop manual my feet always seem to get stuck -_- not giving up just practice other stuff atm
New tire shouldn’t really make a difference unless it was folded up all funny for a long time. But if it’s round and smooth, you’re good to go. Chain will only make a difference because if your chain is loose, chances are your rear wheel position is different so it might make it easier to pull up so you might pull too hard
@@DustinNotJustin thanks dude 🤝 i will buy new rearnuts and wasser cause the texture is smooth so when i tight the chain and try the grind tricks stuff. The tire will rub to the frame whats your opinion on that? My wheels not thru (aline) or it is the nuts and wasser?
@@ryanace7914 maybe try sticking something between the tire and frame while you tighten them? If that doesn't work, maybe get some sandpaper or a file and scratch some of the paint off the dropouts. It's probably making the axles and nuts slip. Unless your current ones are actually shot.
@@ryanace7914 use the old trick: opposite, driver, opposite, driver. 1/2 tighten the nut on the opposite side to the chain, then tighten the chain side 1/2 and then tighten the opposite and then the drive/chain side. Tightening the opposite side first pulls your wheel to that side of your frame and then tightening the drive side should bring it back dead centre. Hope this could help!
I literally can’t pull up my bike without peddling, it’s like weird and just won’t let me, I have to use my full strength to pull it up but that don’t even work
It's pretty much the same concept, but a bigger bike is much much harder to pull up. Hopefully it has brakes. If so, make sure to use your brakes too, so if you pull up REALLY hard to the point of looping out, hit the brakes and it'll save you. But yeah, its much harder on a big bike because of the less leverage you have. Just gotta pull harder/differently
DustinNotJustin I’ve got a suggestion anyway! Just put on some pegs, never grinder before. Could you possibly make a beginners tutorial on grinding? Like feeble etc
Bro, sitting on the peg on a ledge to try n find ur balance is so smart! Thank you!
🙏🙌
Oh hell yes. Taking my Sunday out every night! Gotta practice this
