The biggest problem with rear drum brakes that no one seems to talk about is, they cost the dealership money, by lasting the customer much longer.
...and cost customers safety by performing poorly.
@@razvanciurezIt doesn't!
@@razvanciureznever had a problem with drum brakes.
@@BlackHawkTejasfor day to day use, probably not, but the science is there and disc will outperform drums every single time.
@@martyn_g That's why drums are at the rear, they only do about 30% of the brake, all modern passenger cars use disk brake at front.
James again! It's gonna be a beautiful Monday 🥰🫶. The standard trio, we love you.
How dare ppl complain about Scotts lack of socks tho😡😑
I owned a 2004 Hyundai Getz. When Kia Australia put the Picanto on their website, I ordered a new Sport auto base model as a second car to replace our outstandingly reliable Getz. I have plenty of money, however I only wanted a fat tyre base comfortable ride for shopping and short A to Bs and occasional trips beyond the city. p.s. I think car enthusiasts do most car review videos and I think that they lose the point that their primary job is for the consumer who in most cases, but not all, couldn't care less about being a speed or acceleration demon.
I had an uber reliable 2005 Getz for nearly 14 years and sold my family and friends on South Korea's Kia and Hyundai. Nearly all of them have one model or another and very happy to have gone that way. Mum's 2019 Picanto is a family favourite and we all vie for a drive. They are the modern day British Mini. The after sales service and customer support are A1 too.
@@miatand1156 Good on you mate. Thanks for your comment.
What is the obsession with lane departure warning etc, if they add a feature to disable mobile phones the driver will actually drive the car like they are supposed to be 🤔
exactly.. cars are getting more and more advanced but person behind the wheels are getting dumber.
I would interpret the suzuki as having less driver distractions to turn off. Some of the newer safety features are not well implemented.
I agree they are garbage and in some cases dangerous.
Agreed! ANCAP's ADAS safety rating is becoming NS now. Most people switch off their ADAS after 1-2 months.
Suzuki Swift with 61 kW. They have been going backwards for years. We still have a 2006 model with a traditional petrol engine and it has 74kW and even the RE2's had between 92-100kW. This fuel efficiency rubbish has gone mad. All the complexity and expense to save a piddly amount of petrol. More cost and less power. Go figure......
Don't ever buy a car thinking the engine stop system will safe you fuel. It is the most insane thing to be put in the car. You have to have a special battery with 2x the cost and 2/3 of lifetime.wrong battery? It will damage your abs, costing yo 1k for fixing it.
Don't you just shut it down right after start the car? LOL... You can also buy a OBD plug in to shut it off automatically.
The Swift might have good fuel efficiency, but it uses 95Ron.
95 used to be between 10-15c more expensive, now its 15 at minimum. 98 is well over 20c added in my area. We've shifted from diesels to petrol for the fuel costs, 95RON + just does not appeal.
At roughly equivalent prices, the base model MG3 is not a particularly attractive option in comparison to the Swift, Mazda 2 or Kia Picanto. The MG3 hybrid appears to have power delivery inconsistencies, and is not especially economical.
I wonder how ppl are going with MG service when something goes wrong.
@@bumbleGrum Not well from what I know. Mazda or Kia a lot better in my opinion. On reliability Suzuki also better.
I think you need to change your meds.
@@bumbleGrumI have owned an MG3 from new (5 yrs) and NOTHING had gone wrong. !!……..and I have driven City , and many long country trips………..MG’s are as well built as any of the other Asians.
So the mild hybrid swift is more efficient than the "proper" hybrid MG3?
That's because the ICE of MG3 has more power, and yeah Suzuki has perfected the efficiency of it's engine
Interesting how when they say cheapest car, the picture they show you will be the top spec model - just like how car manufacturers false advertise a model price "From.."
The Venue is a replacement for the Accent….Not the Elantra.
The MG's front end look' very much like a Fiesta and the back look's vey much like an Audi A3, as does the colour
Surprised no one has sneezed in the office during these recordings
hey, good video 🙏
I'd rather drive a Kia than an mg
What game are the lads in the back playing?
Team Fortress 2
Quake Arena
Fortnite
Unreal Tournament
League Of Legends
The Suzuki only has HALF the power of the MG3 Hybrid !!
Dont care what everyone says, MG3 doesnt have a good wrap, more negative than positive.
Bollocks, and I have owned one for years………….you probably haven’t even sat in one.
@@user-fb7qu8lu7s Im glad you enjoy yours.
Josh is in the background😍. HI JOSH👋😂
Picanto 👍🏻
And the winner is....
Suzuki Swift.
Shampoo add boy 😂
Breaking news 😂 😊
The people need to know!
I think the new mg 3 is a seriously tempting option in the cheap car market
Not at all to me. Much worse crash test safety (yeah, I know they are ok on active safety but not much if you actually hit something harder than a Coke can), seems their reliability/longevity is not good. Kia or the Mazda fine. MG no thanks.
@@naguoning that’s fair enough, the Mazda two is just too old looking for me, plus it has a tiny screen that’s not a touchscreen
Picanto is Korean for Vehicular Vomit………and Ignus is just……..Well a Joke, really.
Sorry to be commenting off the topic, but it looks like Michael Jackson wannabe neither has a functioning rod or a gun.
is the guy in the green jumper gay
Does it matter?
