Being a hairdresser of nearly a decade, I can share with you you, that you are not supposed to use harsh hair shampoo on your hair.
I have noticed hair lines of numerous folks, and I observed that people who were using harsh shampoos typically had poor hairline.
So I advise only to use gentle shampoo only. I personally use and recommend to apply litttleextra cocconioon shampoo only.
Also, do hot oil massage twice a week as it boosts circulation and encourages healthy hair growth.

My number one scalp routine is actually a pre poo that takes place a day before wash day. I first part my hair in four sections : spray distilled water on each section and apply sulfur 8 shampoo on my scalp from an applicator bottle and then massage it into my scalp -and leave it on overnight and wash it out the next morning of wash day. Using distilled water daily actually made my itchy scalp non existent. And sulfur 8 shampoo deep cleanses my scalp thoroughly where on wash day I only have to focus on my hair strands. I love it!

I’m a new fan. I am extremely happy that I found you. Our hair is the crown we never take off. Your wisdom is insurmountable. This weekend I have viewed so many of your videos. I’ve taken so many notes. I too have low porosity hair along with 4c and thin hair. It’s disgusting how much breakage and shedding I’m experiencing. I visited my local Sally’s beauty supply, Ulta and Walmart to get many of the products you recommended. I’m excited to learn about the green tea rinse. And the pumpkin seed oil and I plan on ordering it soon. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I appreciate how passionate you are. I deeply regret that I missed your Black Friday sale for your ebooks. Will you consider having a special Black Friday sale like now? Like next this week or next? Sincerely thanks again.

Great advice, I try to make everything at home, so I use a tea every wash day, I wash my hair with niamn shampoo bar, my cocktail of tea rt now is suff I got from my garden so rose petals, rosemary, peppermint, fenugreek (not from my garden), dandelions. Then I deep condition with niamn moisturizing dc and always, always use a shower brush for my scalp when I shampoo.

Thanks for the great DIY additions to enhance our shampoo. I have used fresh aloe vera as a prepoo scalp rub and also coconut, sweet almond oil, or jojoba oil as overnight prepoos. I have also used other detangling prepoo treatments that contain ingredients such as Fenugreek, marshmallow root, Aloe Vera, coconut water, Irish Moss, distilled water, and comfrey root to name a few. Prepoo brands I have used include African Pride, Nature'sLittleSecret, and Dr. Miracle's Strong +Healthy.

ACV, cloves, onion juice or >insert hairboosting herb< tea rinse post conditioning is pretty standard too.
Finally, the reset washes always feel so nice! Every three weeks with a mild sulfate shampoo 💖

Greetings your content is 100% valuable and great since you are teachings work. I have tried and use the sugar, green tea and aloe.
For me using a created tea rinse and incorporating ayurvedic herbs in at least three components of my wash day is without fail my consistent routine to healthy hair.
Tea rinses is where one can add multiple ingredients to keeping it composed to a bare minimum. I switch up what feed my hair depending on hair journal entries, but green tea my strands love. 1saved cup of my hair, will becomesthis week's hair rinse. The hair fact I realized is weekly washes is my sweet spot for thriving hair. Why? A weekly clean scalp is the blank canvas to healthy hair.

I like to take the aloe vera leaf and rub it in my scalp I love doing that I come from the Dominican Republic and we use aloe vera a lot. Second I like to do clay masks at least once a month and I alternated with sugar scrubs and I also do herbs like Shikaikai mixed with Aretha and Amla and grape seed oil as a pre poo. I have been using your recommendation to put ACV rinse over my conditioner before rinsing it out. I’m interested in adding the sugar to my shampoo. Do I add sugar to the entire bottle of just to my hands?

To your hands,,, you don't want to risk spoiling the entire bottle.

What about the aloe leave, how to you measure it. I mean how much to add in your hair and shampoo?

Just do a search on RUclips. There are LOTS of videos about preparing aloe vera leaves. Personally, I just use the juice from Walmart pharmacy. Hope that helps. God richly bless you! 😊

Hi Tonya, quick question I was thinking of soaking some ayruvedic herbs in olive oil for a few weeks. Is it worth it to do that, or is it a waste of herbs because olive oil can't penetrate into the hair?

Hey! No that's a good mix, at the end of the day the properties of the herbs will be effective and the oil will be great for softness, shine, and improving the hair cuticle. Go for it!! :-)

Can you do a video where you explain how to dye your hair without having it fall out? Can you specify the healthiest way to do it for different Porosity?

Henna and indigo. Seriously though. I find as far as products finding a professional hair dye without PPD, Resorcinol, Lead Acetate is like a needle in a haystack but some exist. Madison Reed, Alafparf Naturals from Italy, Chi by Farouk Shami (never tried) are good. Usually brands from the EU are safer. I’m allergic to most others. Let’s see, never dye your whole head over and over frequently just the roots. Then refresh with a gloss. Always use a bond builder. Try not to use heat tools except on occasion. Use the lowest developer possible. It all depends on what look you are going for and your hair condition it is from the start. I could go on but it depends. Definitely use a good quality product though. Sleekshop sells professional hair products. You don’t need a license.

Hello Tonya I read that low porosity hair can't use aloe vera because it's too large to penetrate low porosity hair. Is this true? I would appreciate any response. Thank you. You and your family stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐

Not true, take some aloe vera juice and spray it on your hair and watch what happens...it absorbs and your hair will soak it up. Love aloe! :-)

FYI, I found aloe vera juice at Walgreens. Don’t need to send away for it. It was back with the psyllium seed husks and Ensure meal replacements. $14 for a half gallon. A terrifying amount in my refrigerator.
