Just returned the Dyson V10 Animal and brought home the Shark today. The Dyson would randomly stop and I would pump the trigger and it would start again. I'm assuming a faulty trigger. Wasn't clogged, I had cleaned the filter Started doing this after less than 4 months owning it. My Shark is charging, but straight out of the box I don't like that it doesn't come with something to hang on the wall. The Dyson has the charger plug on the wall so you just set it back on the wall mount and it immediately starts charging, I don't have to plug and unplug. I'm going to give this one a few days to see if I like it and if not I will just return and get another Dyson and hope the trigger doesn't break on the new one lol. It's $100 off right now at Costco, so only $120 more than the Shark
I just purchased this at Costco yesterday, 11/18/2023. Followed the instructions and used it.. eh not totally sold. Will use it again and see what happens. May end up with a Stratos.
I wouldn't. Just got a Stratos and not impressed at all.
Appreciate your enthusiasm for this product, but surely you realize that even your "old" vacuum would pick up a lot of dirt going over the carpet a second time. Our corded vac is also a Shark and i always get a lot of debris when i vacuum a second time on the same night.
We have a shark corded and it’s lasted several years. We tried Hoover,dirt devil and bissel but couldn’t get more than 2 years or so out of them. Not happy Shark is a Chinese company but they do make good stuff.

I just bought it but can’t figure out how to remove the brushroll. I need to know this before using it 😅

Wish I lived in the UK, my country is changing for the worst. Gas, food, electricity, water all skyrocketing prices! It’s getting harder to make a life. But a least I have kicking vacuum. Lol. Thanks for watching!

What kind of realistic runtime does it have?
I just sent mine back. At best I got 15 minutes on the medium setting just doing hardwood. Had it 2 weeks. They do not sell an extra battery yet.
