    I purchased the Shark Rocket and returned it because I have a very bad back and the motor being at the top of the vacuum was too heavy for me and also it won't stand up on its own. You have to lean it against a wall or furniture if you stop vacuuming for a moment. It wasn't good for may back being too tippy and hard for me to handle. Great video and reviews!

    I am looking to replace a 10 year old Shark Lift-Away Deluxe. It still runs great, but I have so much duct tape on the hose part because it’s just old and breaking open. The tape then causes jams because the tape attracts the dirt and eventually it’s a whole clog. There’s actually tape on a lot of parts! But I clean the filters, and the motor keeps going. We have cats, large area rugs and some hard wood. I want a corded upright with lots of attachments. I compost the dirt. I just like your channel and hope to decide by watching more videos.

    I had a Shark plug in upright for about 10 years. Worked great, definitely got my money's worth out of it. It was time to replace it, because it was not repairable and was starting to show signs of wear. Considered battery stick vacuums. The ones that performed well enough to consider using as a whole -house vacuum were $700+. Ended up with a Miele C3 instead. Yes, i have to plug it in and replace bags and pull around a canister... But it has incredible suction, i know it's actually cleaning stuff out of the carpet. It also doesn't release anything into the air. And, it'll last forever. It can be repaired if anything does actually break. Less broken trash in the landfills, i hope.

      @vacuumnerds  6 месяцев назад +1

    • @Cleaning_Hero
      @Cleaning_Hero 5 месяцев назад +1

      I have to say, I love my Miele. It is a C3, too. They are fairly expensive, but after owning one, I cannot get myself into any other vacuum. I have owned vacuums that cost way more and vacuums that cost way less, as I do collect them and work on them. If I could only have one machine, it would be a Miele C3. No, it isn't absolutely perfect, but it is close. I wish they were less expensive to buy and maintain, but quality doesn’t come cheap. Half of the things that make me love it so much are the ergonomic features that make it so easy to use. I don’t have to bend over and mess with pigtails to change heads, attachments, adjust settings, etc like I did with my other canisters. The other things I love - build quality, carpet and hard floor performance, filtration, and it is quiet (for a vacuum). It is also my favorite machine to use when I detail cars for my customers, which I do on the side. I have learned that if someone just wants pure cleaning power, they can get by with a $300 machine. However, if they want better quality, something hygienic, etc, spending more is usually necessary. There are some exceptions, but not many.

    I bought a Sirena bc of really bad and severe allergies. Please do not buy it unless you're ok w bulky stuff.
    It's a great idea and definitely comes w enough attachemnts but not pracrical for most busy and lazy cleaners. It made me depressed, bc after hours and hours of research I thought I found something that would be a long term investment, but I really made a ad choice.
    This video was great. Features that attracted me to the serena was the water dust lock and hepa combination to prevent any dust returning back to the environment.
    Later found out allergies could've been further aggravated by construction debris in the basement left behind by contractor, unknownst to us. There were definitely environmental factors we didn't know that caused health aggravation and didnt need a Sirena.
    Some of the products you mentioned here are great choices and I look forward to considering them for my goto daily use choices.

      I don't think they even sold vacuums on Amazon when we made this video. They are one of a large number of brands now selling vacuums.

    The fact you guys ignore bagged vacuums shows you aren’t a good source for vacuum reviews

    Come on guys! Why on earth would you recommend a vacuum with a single cyclone. Filter clogging, needy, short lived garbage!

      Aside from the Dyson, all these picks are meant to be affordable. That's the focus of the video. What are your suggestions for alternates?

      @@vacuumnerds Well, you can get an LG A9 on sale for $299 regularly. Maybe a Hoover Maxlife with multi cylonic tech... A single cyclone is trash.

      @@vacuumnerdsif an “affordable” vacuum breaks quickly and must be replaced then it stops being affordable. The vacuums you are recommending are essentially disposable.
