I don't live in the US so I had mine shipped and have to use a transformer for the charging dock. I thought I was missing a full instruction manual but glad to know I wasn't. Your video instead served as a very handy complete instruction manual 😂❤️ Thank you so much and I'm so happy with this vacuum. (Definitely worth the 2 month shipping wait)
Just unpacked my Shark today and put it together. Your video was great as the directions were poor, you then showed how all the different doors open and where the filters are located !!! Waiting for a full charge now and then will do all the hardwood floors. A buddy bought one and was impressed by it's operation, my wife saw it and said ... we have to have one. Great video and thanks for the detail.
Thank you for the review. I'm looking for a cordless stick vac now and I believe this is the one I'll be investing in. I'm impressed by the number of filters used to keep the dust and dirt where it belongs.
Thank you so much for this video it has helped me a lot..I just bought this model and you have saved me a lot of time trying to figure out all the parts on it and what it can do..Thank you again its much appreciated..
Hi how’s it been since you’ve had it? Also I’ve commented this on one of your your shorts, do you have any issues of dust getting into the triangle shape section inside the collection bin, which then can’t be cleaned or emptied? Thanks in advance
Really awesome review on this stick vacuum brother..Im planning on getting one for my Mom and this video 📹 helped me out on my decision..Thank you for creating such informative content..Have a wonderful day tomorrow Monday and week ahead
I had a Dyson v11 that bought from Costco last May and it broke on me ALREADY! So I returned it today back to Costco and I ordered this one! 😛 I’m excited
Great video JAD. Thank you. Which would you chose for power and suction, this vacuum or the Shark Stratos cordless? Thank you. Keep up the great work Peter
I just noticed Samsung has a comparable auto empty cordless stick vac version! I love that it has a bag in the auto empty canister. I would love love if you were able to do a review of the Samsung Bespoke Cordless auto empty stick vacuum. It is pricey, but I can't find a good review showing everything you show on your reviews.. your channel is hands down awesome! Hope to see the Bespoke review soon! 🙏🏼😀
I have it and its amazing. Zero complaints about it. Battery lasts long, we've had it for anout 4 months now and use it everyday to vaccum a 2 story house and we are still on the original bag!
It looks like all the filters are reuseable which is great. But how often would you recommend the filters be replaced for normal household use? The dilemma i have is that the replacement filters seem hard to find.
hi there, thank you very much for all the videos, extremely useful info!! i just checked out all the videos you have on the detect pro. If i can ask a suggestion, i am looking into buying either this detect pro or the strato (i did see the other video), but now that you had a few more months. What would you suggest between the two? i mainly have hard floors and gym matts. the costs are very similar right now. Stratos (280 euro) and detect pro with the self emptying tra at 335. Thank in advance!
This is so helpful! I so appreciate your videos. Did you do yet a comparison video with the other model you mentioned in this video of the older model Shark had out previously of the auto empty? It looks like that older model is the one Costco has on sale for Black Friday right now as it is the same as this one but the stick part bends but looks to have the same auto empty canister and everything else. So was interested if you did the other comparison video yet. Thanks!
Wow! That's quite a vacuum with many useful features. I always opt for a quality, but simple vacuum when I am looking for a vacuum. I always wonder how long the many features will hold up before something goes wrong and needs service. I am currently looking for decent cordless vacuum but haven't decided on one of the many available. Nice video explaining the many features of this Shark vacuum.
I love this vacuum but mine lasted less than a month before it stopped charging and auto emptying. Shark customer support was great though and they are sending a replacement vacuum and dock. I just hope the auto emptying system is not a gimmick and the new one lasts longer.
I think the self empty system on this unit is WAY better than the wand vac self empty. This is because you don't have to stick your hand in that hole to take the filters out. The dust for this unit lay flat on the filter and the sponges have little hooks to take them out. They did better with this one.
thanks for very detailed video. 1. are the filters in Vaccumm washable ? 2. Filter in empty bin reusable and washable? 3. what is average battery run time ? Please let us know as trying to decide to buy . thanks. Also
Does odour capsule leave a scent in the vacum or just in the empty chamber. I'm deciding on this model or the shark stratos with the odour capsule built in
I'm too fragrance sensitive to use that deodorizer cartridge. Do you think I can just use the lid part to cover that hole in the front, or is the deodorizer gadget all one unit that doesn't come off from the lid/cap part? I love the look of this unit, and my Tinceo is such a pain to empty and have to clean the filter every time (or it is even weaker than it already is). It could be a deal breaker if I have to leave a hole where that canister gimmick is. Darn I wish they'd make that optional, or hide it better.
How frequently do you have to empty the cup? Will it hold a whole house vacuuming without having to stop and empty it out? I have 3 pets and about 2000sf mix of tile and carpet.
@@GewoonHeidithis person had the same issue and spoke to shark and here is what they were told ‘samwilliams - I spoke to shark online chat thing, they told me it doesn't empty or come apart so the dust just keeps gathering’

@@GewoonHeidi I got this directly from Shark Hello Carl, Thank you for contacting SharkNinja Customer Service. We are very sorry to learn that you have a concern regarding the Shark Detect Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Auto-Empty System 1.3L IW3510UK. We understand this whole situation might be frustrating, but rest assured that we will do our best to assist you. This section of the dust cup is not an additional dust 'collector'; it is designed to create better airflow through the hand vac in order to provide optimal performance. Due to the way the dust cup is manufactured, there is a very small risk that some fine dust and dirt particles can work their way into the cavity of this plastic inlet section of the dust cup, and unfortunately, these cannot be accessed by the user to clean out. It does not have any impact whatsoever on cleaning performance. Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you have experienced with this unit. We trust that this information was useful to you; however, please don't hesitate to get back in touch with us if you need further assistance. Regards, Luisa SharkNinja Consumer Experience Advocate
Are any of those filters and odor neutralizers available anywhere beside the Shark & Amazon web site? We used to get our refills, etc from Bed, Bath & Beyond.
Do you have a comparison of this vacuum with the tineco S15 pet? They look very similar. I just bought the tinaco last week and I’m waiting for it to arrive. I really like the auto empty of the shark and that it auto detects the floors. I do not believe the tineco does that. I have more carpet in my house than I have wood floors. So I am looking for something that’s going to hold up battery wise.
When did you believe the sales were coming on soon? Pre Thanksgiving or Pre Christmas or even before both options? I think my audio system skipped over that?
Hello, there’s a black clip at he bottom of the stick - what is it for? I got it from Costco and it has a pet hair extractor, but that doesn’t fit on the clip.

Hey, Are the accessories of the other shark wireless vacuum compatible with this one or should we wait for the accessories to come out in the next few days? Thanks
Is Shark ever going to put out an attachment caddy (like Dyson) that we can hang next to the base? Yes, I’ve asked Shark but have not received an answer thus far. This model really rocks! I’d love to get it .. at a discount.
