Dried chickpeas 2 cups (450g approximately)
Bicarbonate of soda ½tsp
Salt to taste
One small Onion
Chopped Garlic 1tbsp
Chopped Ginger 2tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Red Chili 1 tsp
Whole cumin 1tbsp
Coriander 1tbsp
Black peppercorns 1tbsp
Black Cardamom 1unit
Star anise 1unit
Cloves 5-6
Oil/ghee 1 cup

Bahut saaf aur saral recipe hei.
Grinding up some chickpeas is a good idea, I'll try it next time.
In Maharashtra we add some diced potato aswell.
Only difference in spices is that we add bristo and tamarind paste.

Dekhne mein chole bahut shaandaar lag rahe. I am sure khaane mein bhi lazeez honge. chole masala powder recipe mein anardana aur add kar ke dekhiye kabhi.
Main zaroor try kroon gi, Lekin aap bhi ye recipe zaroor try kren. I hope apko achi lagay gi.
