Loved the pindi chole recipie with all the tricks and tips never shown before by anyone... like the dry amla and pomegranate seed a must in the masala. Like mashing few chickpeas first and then adding remaining. Thank you so much for sharing these.
Will also be buying the usapulses chole and give it a try!

One of my favourite childhood memories is Tikki Chole. And this Black Chole (aka Amritsari Chole) is my fav one... As a child, I always went and asked alloo tikki wale uncle to tell me the recipe, and he used to smile.
Finally i have the recipe now and cannot wait to try.

Last night I tried your Chole Bhature recipe and I enjoyed it as it reminded me of the C.B. I used to eat in my childhood days. I used to drag my father outside the house to buy their C.B. We used to wait for hours in a line to eat. Since I changed cities I no longer have access to their food, so I tried recreating it at home. I tried uncountable recipes but unfortunately, I wasn't successful in my attempt, but after I tried your recipe, I was almost able to clone that taste. After i tasted it, all my childhood memories of that place came flooding in my mind. Thanks a ton Chef Sanjyot, without your recipe I wouldn't have been able to recreate that taste. Out of all the Chole Bhature recipes that I have tasted, I fancy the Amritsari Chole Bhature.

I absolutely love chole bhature and found your recipe to be perfect. This being a classic traditional dish, I thought it would be complicated. However your instructions are easy to follow and the measurements of the ingredients are also perfectly given by you. It is worthwhile to mention here that your presentation of the recipe is slick and stylish but at the same time your attitude is very friendly and humble. I also love your beautiful kitchen.
All in all your chole bhature recipe is the best. Thank you for sharing.

Another great recipe as always chef😍... These Amritsari chole recipe is one of my favourite... From a very long time I was in search of this kind of Chole recipe... Thank you so much for uploading this incredible recipe... Your recipes always makes me fall in love with food even more and more.... and also inspires me to complete "my dream of opening my own cafe..." And as a lower middle- class girl really working hard for that dream... And already have decided that I'm going to follow your recipes of Burgers (specially that cheese burst aaloo tikki burger and panner makhani burger), coffee, noodles, French fries, Manchurian and sandwiches.... And eagerly waiting for a "PIZZA RECIPE"... Wish you will upload it soon🤞... If I talk about Hamilton beach India products, all their products are simply amazing and if my favourite chef recomends it, then its like my dream to have this mixer grinder at at my cafe's kitchen.... And trust me chef it will be great if I get the Hamilton Beach India's Juicer Mixer Grinder in my cafe.... It will make my work a lot simpler as well as beautiful..... Once again Thank you so much Chef... You're truly an inspiration for me❤ lots of love and respect to you ❤🙏🏻

As kids we use to get excited by knowing our mother is soaking chickpeas in night, the shear thought of having our family's fav meal "chhole-bhature" next morning filled us with joy & happiness. My mum use to prepare the masala at home and did not support store brought ones, just like you made it. Your attention to detail in ingredients, the process gives me hope that our old recipe would not disappear. Kudos to the media team the content quality is top notch, makes me hungry but I don't mind. 😊😊😊😊

Thanks for the recipe. Healthy version: there is absolutely no need to add some much ghee at the end (you can add 1/3 and you will get almost the same taste). Also, there is no need to fry the onions in the oil. If you mash the onions and tomatoes in the blender and add that to the chickpeas, they cook very well (just take a bit longer) with almost the same taste. We need to be careful about Aradhana (pomegranate) seeds, a bit more by mistake and the taste changes completely, so need to add in increments (while tasting simultaneously)

It was amazing i tried this recipe i didn't had the dry amla i didn't get the dried anardana till the end and I cooked it in another kadhai not the iron one and I also don't have kashmiri lal mirch because at home we make the red chilli powder masala mixing all different types of chillies so I used it instead but the bhature should be fried on high flame continuously is very crucial things and it worked very well for mine here and there but still the recipe of both chole and bhature was a hit it was soooo amazing and thank you so much for this amazing recipe chef sanjyot keer ❤

This is the best amritsari chole I have made. Thank you for the chole masala recipe too, it's delicious. Bdw I used mustard oil instead of regular oil and didn't add the bag of spices when pressure cooking the chole. It still turned out great. And dark color to lohe ki kadhai/pan use karne se hi aa jata hai.
