Thank you very much for making these videos. I’m very much into self care (apart from medical care) and this is a good addition. Some of your exercise videos helped me a lot too. If not by doing them, then because of the theory and tips and tricks you provide.
So glad the videos have been helping you! There’s so many things we can do for self-care but the info isn’t easily accessible. I’m trying to pay it forward with everything that I learned.
Thx! With a seroma you’ll see more benefit from lymphatic massage. I haven’t done a video on this yet but will at some point. You can do lymphatic massage yourself or even better see a certified lymphedema therapist.
@@breast-cancer-rehab should i do the same massage as you taught in video for my seroma.will it help cause its been 2 and a half months since my surgery?
@@teacherfaq918 I had seroma within a week after surgery. 3 weeks post surgery I went to a fysical therapist for lymphatic massage and taping, including some techniques to do myself. I still do them. It helped very much, if I hadn’t done that, radiation would have been postponed much more. I hope this is aloud (@breast-cancer-rehab please remove otherwise), but the youtube channel @CancerRehabPT has some videos on that topic. Of course you should talk to your medical team first.
I’m seeing this for the first time. I finished radiotherapy 6 months ago. My breast became encapsulated after a sever infection. It is garter. Will the massage help?
You should see some benefit with self-massage but it won't address the encapsulation. There will be a ton of tension from all of the compensations that happen after that so this is where most of the benefit will come from. Cupping and rehab exercises would be good to try too from this Radiation Playlist - ruclips.net/p/PLALVgJH_QhhiBu-YSGlOfhQvdYgMuWWOU
Cupping is another strategy that helps - ruclips.net/video/g3EJJNcKXc0/видео.html
your videos are so helpful! Thank your very much.
Thank youso much! This is, by far, the most informative video I have found on fibrosis massage
Thanks for the feedback. Glad it was so helpful for you!
Wish I’d found this 2 years ago

Thank You, this was Great. My Physical Therapist showed me a few of these massages. I will definitely add what you shared to my routine.
Glad you found the video useful!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!🎀
Thank you for this video. It is very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video once again. I had lumpectomy and there is seroma also. Will massage help reduce it?

Yes, but it will help more if you’re also doing the lymphatic massage.
