WHAT I EAT IN A DAY #6 // Raw Vegan Detox Meals

- Hey friends! I love cooked food. But it is scientifically proven that raw food is the best for our insides, so if I ever feel like I need a detox, raw it is :)
Below are the four (yes, four) meals I ate on my raw detox day, but before the recipes, I want to add a disclaimer:
Yes, I know apple cider vinegar, maple syrup and soy sauce aren't technically fully raw, but I don't have coconut aminos or agave at home, and I wasn't going to buy them just for the sake of this day. Of course, if you are fully raw, use those instead of what I used ^.^
Now for the recipes:
00:06 BREAKFAST: Strawberry Smoothie Bowl
» 2 bananas
» 1 large apple
» 1 cup fresh strawberries
Blend with a little bit of water ^.^
Toppings:
» Sliced strawberries
» A handful of walnuts
» 1 brazil nut
» A handful of almonds
» About 2 tbsp goji berries
» 1 tbsp shredded coconut
01:01 SNACK: Basil and Lemon Fruit Salad
» 1 large apple (I used red)
» 1 large banana
» 1 large orange
» 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
» 1 handful of chopped fresh basil
» The juice of 1/2 a lemon or lime
01:37 LUNCH: Creamy Avocado Zoodles
» 1/2 red pepper, diced
» 2 carrots, diced
» 1 avocado, mashed
» 1 large zucchini, spiralized
Combine everything (and top with some nutritional yeast if desired)
02:21 DINNER: Massive Thai Inspired Salad With Peanut Sauce
For the salad:
» 1 head of iceberg or romaine lettuce
» 3 spring onions, diced
» 1/2 a red pepper, diced
» 2 carrots, sliced
» 3 radishes, sliced
» 4 stalks of celery, sliced
» 1 handful of walnuts
» 1 handful of pumpkin seeds
For the dressing:
» 2 tbsp of peanut butter (or PB2, which is my favorite, but not raw)
» 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
» 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
» 1 tsp maple syrup (or agave for fully raw)
» 1 tsp soy sauce, tamari or coconut aminos
» 3 tsp water

Q: Do you snack?
A: Yes! I snack on fresh fruit, veggies with peanut butter or hummus, raw nuts, and fruit and nut bars/energy balls throughout the day!

A: I'm 15 (I was born in November 2001)
