One of the things I researched for my etsy business was shipping profiles. Different print providers offer different shipping carriers.
It did confuse me because of the amount of info and shipping options etsy had.
How do you structure your shipping profiles? Is there a video you created where you talked about shipping profiles?

I live in Australia, so, if I were to set up my Etsy store with Australia as the location but have my target audience as the US (using a US based print provider through Printify) will I still be able to have my listings appear near the top of search results or will I be filtered out due to location differences?

I have listed my printify product on Etsy and when I visit my Etsy store it say that my product is not available please how do I fix this.
I dont see thr shop prefrences. when staring another way since i was clicking and lost it. on the main page what do i press? a link would help for people that are lost. Since my view looks different from yours.
Affiliate link is not show and the one you do show in a comment when I click it says " It looks like you already have an Etsy shop" which I figure i make an account 1st and now its not letting me use it. and i dont see a code but i emailed them and gave them the link you stated.
On prinify it says to first manage etsy to make a link and says to go to " Shop Manager" and the link does not work.
Also how much money will someone make since some estimate 2000 a year when they actualy do sell. which obviously can varyr since as etsy says most of the mony is gotten by the top sellers.

Hi JoAnne, I believe you can do that. I don't sell on Shopify though so I'm probably not the best person ask. You can always utilize Printify's chat support. They are amazing and super helpful.

Another great video! Thanks. I have 2 questions... 1. I recently got the everbee growth plan. I am assuming you prefer sale samurai? Or do they serve different purposes? Lastly, I have created 2 products in Printify. Same design, on black mugs 11 and 15 oz. Have you done a video on how to combine 2 separate products into one Etsy listing? (so I can offer 2 sizes for same mug essentially). Thank you so much.

I cant get pass how you will get paid, I'm form Jamaica and my country is not on the country of residence list.

Question: When you put in the product, you put in the color, size, etc, but you did not cover if you needed to put in a SKU number. Some items do require a SKU number. Please show how you do this.
When you put in the size color etc. Printify automatically assigns the skus. It’s not something you need to worry about.
A few questions what are the etsy and printify costs? You mentioned having a credit card on file for etsy and printify. How much money is going on the credit cards??
It depends on which products you are selling. Printify will tell you the cost for each item. That will be the wholesale price. Then you charge the Etsy customer the full retail price.

I am a bit concerned because when I search a keyword, there are many keyword suggestions that have a google competition of "Unspecified". Is this normal for you?

@Anji Long Hi Anji, yes I connected my store. I feel I should add that i currently don't have any listings on my store.
I think I figured out my problem.
I basically just re-opened the search tab and searched for a keyword.
Then multiple keyword suggestions popped up with a competition of "High" or "low".
Turns out, when I click on "Competition", it updates the list and for some reason many of the suggestions have a competition of "unspecified".
So do we actually use our home zip code for origin even though I will be shipped from the company?
When you list your product you will make a shipping profile that has the company's zip code where it will be shipped from

Whenever I click the 'etsy connect' button on printify, it doesn't work. Every other connect button for shopify, woocommerce, etc works. Only etsy's connect button doesn't. Am I doing something wrong?
Not sure why it wouldn't work. It has always worked for me. Maybe trying using Printify's chat and see if they can assist.
What do you think of this piece from an Etsy article? It's counter to everything I've seen people from RUclips say about titles:
"Keep titles short and sweet.
Brief, clear listing titles are preferable over a long, confusing jumble of keywords, because it helps shoppers understand exactly what you’re selling. Make sure your title is succinct-ideally 40 characters or less-and leads with your most relevant keywords. (For example, “Women’s red silk floral blouse” is much clearer than “Women’s blouse, red blouse, floral blouse, silk blouse, women’s clothing, girlfriend gift, red shirt.”) You should also avoid using all uppercase letters in titles."

@@olherb9633 I have made another video on titles. I have also read that Etsy article. I am aware that is what Etsy states works best. However, I do not do that and what I do works VERY well. I can understand why they said that because they are speaking from a customer readability point of view. However, from an SEO standpoint, I think the more keywords you use, the more effective your listing will be at reaching the right customers. Over time, with analyzing your data and finding the most essential keywords I think you can duplicate a listing and create a more to-the-point title as they mentioned there.
@@TheAnjiMartin I agree that makes more sense, I just ran across this article and was curious. Thank you for such a swift reply, the videos have been very helpful lately. I think I will try a mix, such as using a to the point, easy to read and specific title for the first part and use || to separate from the rest of the keywords, making the front stand out more, and separating the keyword groupings behind the pipes with commas to achieve the SEO part.

I assumed you list your items in your Etsy store and then you just connect your Etsy store to printify. I want to be sure I understand right. Do you have to list all your items twice, once on Etsy and then again on printify? Or do you strictly list them on Etsy?
No. You have to have a listing/product/sku in Printify for them to know what to print and ship. Do the listing in Printify first and publish from from Printify to Etsy.

Why would printify recommend etsy when they don't help us what etsy owes on shops that were suspended?
Printy doesn't recommend Etsy, it's just one option of many for a place to sell their products. I don't work for printify, I'm an Etsy seller and Printify affiliate and this is how I do it. Sorry to hear you had a different experience than I did!
