These men were so kind, and I get the feeling God kept their mouths closed to listen because their hearts were pure and He saw them willing to seek the true Lord.
Unfortunately they got winded by the claim that they are making Jesus out to be a false prophet. They should have insisted on reading the text and following it word for word to see if what Jeff claimed is correct. I just happen to disagree with Jeff's view of the end times. Too many words in Matthew 24 contradict what he claims.
That mind control is strong. Their leaders hypnosis them through somber music, fear, threat of shunning, fear of men, consequences, information control - they can not look at any other research outside of theirs and constant busy work (door to door, studying their printed literature not the Bible but will refer to cherry picked scriptures to support their dogma,- leaving them no time to think nor rest. At this point - They are part brain dead if not full.
There is a Great Dual Fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecies in Matthew Chapter 24. These were fulfilled, and again will be fulfilled in the last time. At that time the completion of those prophecies will be fulfilled at the Return of Jesus Christ also. Repent and seek the Lord Jesus Christ while there is yet time. Jesus is the only way and He offers forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. (John 14:6, John 11:25-26)

The man sounded receptive to what Jeff was saying. The witnesses I’ve tried speaking with is just that, trying. They usually shut down conversation before it can even start with zero consideration, going mute and tuning it out. So kudos to those men patiently listening. May God grant them sight to see, ears to hear and a spirit of understanding, in Jesus name.
Mormons stopped by my door once and I had a short discourse with them. At the end, I invited them back to my home to come inside and discuss things further later that week. I was SHOCKED but they did come back. I let them inside and we sat at my table for over an hour talking about our differences. By the end, they admitted there was a lot in the texts they’d never seen before. I later learned from new missionaries that they had been called back from their missions work early and that our house was being blacklisted. I give all glory and praise to God for working in those young men’s lives. I still think about them a lot and I’m honored that God used me to plant a seed in their hearts. When people are willing to love one another despite our differences, God can do great things!
Unfortunately in this case they won't come back. I have spent years of outreach speaking to so many Jehovah's Witnesses as I have a great love and zeal for them as my sister is one, and in this case Jeff bought up two verses that I use if I ever get questioned about whether Jesus is God, which I try to avoid when talking to JW's, you can never go out there trying to convert them, but sow seeds that cause them to question what they have been taught. They would have gone back to speak to the elders who would of told them not to go back because Jeff is an apostate without answering their questions to the elders. All we can do is pray that God opens their hearts to the truth ✝️
I love this conversation. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness and practiced for the first 30 years of my life. I enjoyed conversations with people like this when i was at their door. I really like your videos Jeff.
@jool7793 yeah. I’ve seen it all… I’m the result of someone who believed in Christ more so than THEM. I was wronged by many, elders included - was in court against them for 8 years. Everyone I looked up too at that place is a massive disappointment- a let down, not just because of hypocrisy, but I don’t see myself in that place like I was raised too. It’s a miracle I love God more, it just makes the pain sting more is all.
I love that the JWs weren't confrontational or prideful like other conversations I've watched. I truly hope and believe the young man is considering everything Jeff told him. 🤞🙏🙌
Jeff demonstrates the perfect approach. Obviously he probably knows more about JW than even those guys do, yet he offers grace and patience vs. sledgehammering them and invites them back for further conversation. He and others like him have great discernment on when to use a serrated edge vs a more gentle approach to their apologetic. Bravo.
I resigned over a decade ago as a JW MR. Durbin and the way you talk with absolute tact and loving kindness is why you are able to talk to JWs for a good moment. Usually if they feel in the slightest that one is becoming aggressive and debating then they will pull back and you will lose them getting to know the real “Truth”. Will definitely be praying for these guys. They seem to have a heart for the Scripture, and if they do they will weep when they realize what they have believed, but they will also be comforted by The One whose grace is sufficient for them.
They count hours. They don’t save souls. Most of the time when somebody starts talking coherent theology they just shut their brain down, and go into autopilot until you’re done talking. Praise God for the Holy Spirit, that convicts souls, and may no word come back void. At the end there all I could see running through their heads was “What am I gonna get when we take our break at dunkin donuts.” Love when you talk to Jws Jeff. Thanks for posting. You bring wisdom and candor that catches them off guard in a good way…Praying for this organization and and for these brothers to see the light.
Actually only in the past two months their Governing Body have back tracked on reporting field service hours (counting time) for publishers, so these two that knocked on Jeffs door dont have to make a report. However of course there is still the obligation and peer pressure to do so, that hasnt gone away. Further though, they havent taken away the reporting for auxiliary, regular or special pioneers, they still have to report. I just wanted to update you on the hourly reporting thing just in case you come across any JWs and want to make that point. The point to make would be that they scripturally justified the reporting for 70 years, and now it seems that now they removed it they didnt give a scripture.... They just make stuff up as they go along. Cult.
Thanks for the update. This is much worse because now counting hours is seen as a privilege. It fits their tactics like a glove. I can see it now. An auxiliary pioneer is walking along to the next house w an unsuspecting 11 year old boy and says “…and if you work real hard for Jehovah when you go door to door you can count hours someday too!”

Only announced in the last 4 weeks is that women are allowed to wear trousers in teh Kingdom Hall, men can come in an open shirt no tie (if they have a part then its a full suit)...and now they allow men to grow beards - the guy in the video had a beard, you would not of seen JW's at a door with a beard before 4 weeks ago, infact anyone with a beard previously could not have been considered for 'spiritual progress' to be an MS or an Elder, infact people were removed from Elder positions for having a beard previously. They really do just make up nonsense. Now that level of control on such minutiae is one helluva cult...the level of control they have on these people. p.s im an exJW and an activist against the cult.

And why are he and others allowed to have and teach their various interpretations of biblical end time prophecies, which if they turn out to be wrong or they change them. @terryfromdayton8201 ; But that's the point I'm making ... Jeff isn't guilty of issuing false prophecy even if his views of end time prophecies turn out to be inaccurate or wrong. And in fairness, neither should JWs be accused of such for the same reason. As there is a big difference between actually issuing inspired prophecies (which ended after the completion of the Bible's canon at the close of the 1st century). And trying to interpret prophecies that are already recorded in scripture today.

The Governing Body claim to speak for God. They have referred to themselves as prophets in their older literature, & continue to imply that they are. They use a parable of a faithful and wise servant and apply it to themselves. They have Witnesses believing that they are the modern day equivalent of the Apostles, or even Moses for that matter.. The Witnesses hang on their every word. There is no independent thought. My advice to JW’s- start reading a different Bible translation , for example the ESV, read it everyday even at your meetings, and personal study see what happens. I challenge you. Don’t you tell people at the door that it doesn’t matter what Bible version they use? May the Lord bring you to the truth about “The Truth”

@@cygnustspwhat the truth is: The Jehovah's Witness brothers were very happy about talking to Jeff. So much so they left after his information stumped them. So with that section shown to them, they needed to leave to compare their research with what they learned from Jeff. This how door to door ministry of a Jehovah's Witness works. Devout Jehovah's Witnesses that is. They will be back to Jeff's door with their research, not to change Jeff's mind, but because it's hard to find educated people like Jeff. It's a joy to understand the Bible and translation variations that much more. Jehovah's Witnesses do love people like Jeff and love comparing biblical variations. They are equals with opposing beliefs. They know their version very well, Jeff's explanation I can assure you was new to them. Good stuff.

@@Prolly_tyler Jehovahs Witnesses aren’t allowed to question their beliefs. They’re only allowed to find out why there’s is right. It’s not his fault, he’s not allowed to think differently. There’s a threat of being shunned if you start to stray in your thinking. Still, they were pleasant and as a former Jehovahs Witness I would have enjoyed talking to Jeff.
Watching God in action through Pastor Jeff is more entertaining and spiritually lifting than anything on the internet! Praise God for these men and for the great witness of the gospel!
When they decide its time to leave is so sad. They're starting to believe and be convicted but they have been taught thats the devil speaking. Ive had seen that happen personally and it feels so bad

well, they really should go and study the NASB and ESV bibles and then go back for another chat. Jeff's post millennial viewpoint is not the be all and end all - not that I agree with the JWs viewpoint on the Trinity either.
I think if you're going for evangelism, getting lost in an eschatology debate isn't the way to win them because it turns into an intellectual argument. I personally think postmillenialism is a minority view so that's not going to win over JWs in the first place.

I did this with some JW’s who came to my house… not nearly as good or articulate as Jeff, but still gave them some things to chew on. I saw the same people a few weeks later knocking on my neighbors doors, but they skipped my house.
The last time they came to my house I had one of them REALLY listening and the other one literally grabbed him by the arm and told him he couldn't listen to me and that they "HAD to go" and I literally walked to their car with them begging them to listen. I exposed so many of their things as complete bunk such as Jesus being Michael and things of that nature. Also the divinity of Christ. Jeff went into that as well. I've often wondered about that one guy that really seemed to grasp the fact that their doctrine is absolutely fatally flawed.
I’m certain seeds were planted. Durbin always does a great job presenting the gospel concisely. He does a great job using apologetics and also explaining why the doctrines JW, Mormons, etc are wrong. God bless his ministry.
Love seeing that they are receptive and willing to talk about it and not being defensive. I was raised as a JW and left when I was 19, unfortunately, most of my family are still JWs and I haven't been able to reach them since they won't have contact with me. I pray for them all every day and all other JWs.
Respectfully, You must realize his arguments don't actually stack up though right? Do you think Christ began ruling when the temple was destroyed? We have revelation recorded after this event and John was told by Jesus there was still the 7th and 8th kings to follow before God's Kingdom removes them. Your family are in a good place.

That is why Christians serve God and Christ. And that is why his disciples worshiped Him. He is our King. And so yes, Christ was ruling when the earthly temple was destroyed. When do you believe Christ began ruling if not when he was given ALL authority in heaven and on earth?

I admire the patience and kindness expressed in these videos. These are a great example of how to interact with people who may have a different worldview whether on religion or anything else.
My neighbor is an older gentleman who has left Catholicism for JW… he’s miserable. But he says “I’ve just never put any stock into the Trinity doctrine”. He asked me to convert from being a believer to a JW & I declined. Now he won’t speak to me or acknowledge my existence anymore.

I looked on your website for a guide I can use with my lack of ability to witness to jehova witness. Ive been researching ever since I started talking with JW who knocked on my door. I invited them in once I had some info but they easily made excuses, Denied ... even said their founders were young Christians and didn't know everything and they don't follow Rutherford since he's passed away. It's overwhelming and I need help. I have lots of researched info and it's daunting putting it together so they can't refute
What Jeff didn’t tell you is in his own Bible translation he loves when PANTA in Greek is used it uses “other” too. And not in the Greek text. The truth is it can imply it. Want examples let me know.
"I don't expect you to answer me right now guys" I love that you could easily give them space knowing God does the work of salvation. It's not an altar call.
They had the audacity at the end to ask if anyone was home next door so they can show someone their JW beliefs after they were just confronted with the TRUTH? It amazes me how people can still be naive even when shown real evidence.
They are blinded. Watchtower is LOADED with false doctrines and some half truths. They have the preaching part right, though in which they pride themselves on. Too bad that they teach falsehood, though.
I just watched the whole video. Apart from the Preterism that Jeff was communicating with them in the 1st half, the 2nd half of the conversation was way better and I think Jeff did an excellent job showing them that Jesus is God and that the passages that the Watchtower distorts or misinterprets to say that Jesus is a created being don't stand up to scrutiny. Overall, great work Jeff and now that the seed has been planted, let's hope it'll be watered and that God will give the increase. 🙏🙏

Dear Christian preacher, l am glad you pointed out the truth of Jesus and the Trinity, and l pray for this man's salvation. I just don't agree with your theology about the return of Jesus. There is going to be a literal return of Jesus to the earth and a literal 1000 reign of Jesus and His saints on earth when satan will be bound and then released and then the final war against the saints on earth and satan finally being cast into hell. Jesus is literally going to return to the place from which He left on the Mount of Olives. There is going to be a huge earthquake that will split the area in two and the 3rd temple is going to be destroyed. This temple hasn't been built yet. We have not seen the rule of the man of sin yet or Jacob's trouble. The spread of the gospel had not taken place to the entire world when the second temple was destroyed. The gospel has only now been spread to the whole world and therefore those prophesies still have to be fulfilled. The 144 000 are literal jewish witnesses that will be on the earth after the church is taken into heaven before the judgement and wrath of God is to be executed to an unbelieving world, and Israel will be the main focus. Many jews will die, but a remnant will survive and the word says at that time all Israel will be saved. It will be at that time that the Jewish nation will finally recognize Jesus, their Messiah and the words will be fulfilled that Jesus spoke. YOU WILL NOT SEE ME AGAIN UNTIL YOU SAY BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.

I was indoctrinated for almost my whole life and I feel like I've missed out on so much time with my true relationship with Christ! I left the JW's last year. I was baptised at church on Sunday! With God, all things are possible.

Their leaders hypnosis them through somber music, fear, threat of shunning, fear of men, consequences, information control - they can not look at any other research outside of theirs and constant busy work (door to door, studying their printed literature not the Bible but will refer to cherry picked scriptures to support their dogma,- leaving them no time to think nor rest. At this point - They are part brain dead if not full.
There is a Great Dual Fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecies in Matthew Chapter 24. These were fulfilled, and again will be fulfilled in the last time. At that time the completion of those prophecies will be fulfilled at the Return of Jesus Christ also. Repent and seek the Lord Jesus Christ while there is yet time. Jesus is the only way and He offers forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. (John 14:6, John 11:25-26)

The man sounded receptive to what Jeff was saying. The witnesses I’ve tried speaking with is just that, trying. They usually shut down conversation before it can even start with zero consideration, going mute and tuning it out. So kudos to those men patiently listening. May God grant them sight to see, ears to hear and a spirit of understanding, in Jesus name.
Mormons stopped by my door once and I had a short discourse with them. At the end, I invited them back to my home to come inside and discuss things further later that week. I was SHOCKED but they did come back. I let them inside and we sat at my table for over an hour talking about our differences. By the end, they admitted there was a lot in the texts they’d never seen before. I later learned from new missionaries that they had been called back from their missions work early and that our house was being blacklisted. I give all glory and praise to God for working in those young men’s lives. I still think about them a lot and I’m honored that God used me to plant a seed in their hearts. When people are willing to love one another despite our differences, God can do great things!

Unfortunately in this case they won't come back. I have spent years of outreach speaking to so many Jehovah's Witnesses as I have a great love and zeal for them as my sister is one, and in this case Jeff bought up two verses that I use if I ever get questioned about whether Jesus is God, which I try to avoid when talking to JW's, you can never go out there trying to convert them, but sow seeds that cause them to question what they have been taught. They would have gone back to speak to the elders who would of told them not to go back because Jeff is an apostate without answering their questions to the elders. All we can do is pray that God opens their hearts to the truth ✝️

I love this conversation. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness and practiced for the first 30 years of my life. I enjoyed conversations with people like this when i was at their door. I really like your videos Jeff.
@jool7793 yeah. I’ve seen it all… I’m the result of someone who believed in Christ more so than THEM. I was wronged by many, elders included - was in court against them for 8 years. Everyone I looked up too at that place is a massive disappointment- a let down, not just because of hypocrisy, but I don’t see myself in that place like I was raised too. It’s a miracle I love God more, it just makes the pain sting more is all.

Obviously he probably knows more about JW than even those guys do, yet he offers grace and patience vs. sledgehammering them and invites them back for further conversation. He and others like him have great discernment on when to use a serrated edge vs a more gentle approach to their apologetic. Bravo.
I resigned over a decade ago as a JW MR. Durbin and the way you talk with absolute tact and loving kindness is why you are able to talk to JWs for a good moment. Usually if they feel in the slightest that one is becoming aggressive and debating then they will pull back and you will lose them getting to know the real “Truth”. Will definitely be praying for these guys. They seem to have a heart for the Scripture, and if they do they will weep when they realize what they have believed, but they will also be comforted by The One whose grace is sufficient for them.
They count hours. They don’t save souls. Most of the time when somebody starts talking coherent theology they just shut their brain down, and go into autopilot until you’re done talking. Praise God for the Holy Spirit, that convicts souls, and may no word come back void. At the end there all I could see running through their heads was “What am I gonna get when we take our break at dunkin donuts.” Love when you talk to Jws Jeff. Thanks for posting. You bring wisdom and candor that catches them off guard in a good way…Praying for this organization and and for these brothers to see the light.
Actually only in the past two months their Governing Body have back tracked on reporting field service hours (counting time) for publishers, so these two that knocked on Jeffs door dont have to make a report. However of course there is still the obligation and peer pressure to do so, that hasnt gone away.
Further though, they havent taken away the reporting for auxiliary, regular or special pioneers, they still have to report.
I just wanted to update you on the hourly reporting thing just in case you come across any JWs and want to make that point. The point to make would be that they scripturally justified the reporting for 70 years, and now it seems that now they removed it they didnt give a scripture....
They just make stuff up as they go along.

Only announced in the last 4 weeks is that women are allowed to wear trousers in teh Kingdom Hall, men can come in an open shirt no tie (if they have a part then its a full suit)...and now they allow men to grow beards - the guy in the video had a beard, you would not of seen JW's at a door with a beard before 4 weeks ago, infact anyone with a beard previously could not have been considered for 'spiritual progress' to be an MS or an Elder, infact people were removed from Elder positions for having a beard previously. They really do just make up nonsense.
Now that level of control on such minutiae is one helluva cult...the level of control they have on these people.

Jeff isn't guilty of issuing false prophecy even if his views of end time prophecies turn out to be inaccurate or wrong. And in fairness, neither should JWs be accused of such for the same reason.
As there is a big difference between actually issuing inspired prophecies (which ended after the completion of the Bible's canon at the close of the 1st century).
And trying to interpret prophecies that are already recorded in scripture today.

That's the point, right?... JW'S never claimed to be inspired of God or to have God apeak to them, they were just trying to interpret the prophecies already recorded in scripture. Fundamental difference.
The Governing Body claim to speak for God. They have referred to themselves as prophets in their older literature, & continue to imply that they are. They use a parable of a faithful and wise servant and apply it to themselves. They have Witnesses believing that they are the modern day equivalent of the Apostles, or even Moses for that matter.. The Witnesses hang on their every word. There is no independent thought. My advice to JW’s- start reading a different Bible translation , for example the ESV, read it everyday even at your meetings, and personal study see what happens. I challenge you. Don’t you tell people at the door that it doesn’t matter what Bible version they use? May the Lord bring you to the truth about “The Truth”

So with that section shown to them, they needed to leave to compare their research with what they learned from Jeff. This how door to door ministry of a Jehovah's Witness works. Devout Jehovah's Witnesses that is. They will be back to Jeff's door with their research, not to change Jeff's mind, but because it's hard to find educated people like Jeff. It's a joy to understand the Bible and translation variations that much more. Jehovah's Witnesses do love people like Jeff and love comparing biblical variations. They are equals with opposing beliefs. They know their version very well, Jeff's explanation I can assure you was new to them. Good stuff.

There’s a threat of being shunned if you start to stray in your thinking. Still, they were pleasant and as a former Jehovahs Witness I would have enjoyed talking to Jeff.

I think if you're going for evangelism, getting lost in an eschatology debate isn't the way to win them because it turns into an intellectual argument. I personally think postmillenialism is a minority view so that's not going to win over JWs in the first place.

I did this with some JW’s who came to my house… not nearly as good or articulate as Jeff, but still gave them some things to chew on. I saw the same people a few weeks later knocking on my neighbors doors, but they skipped my house.

The last time they came to my house I had one of them REALLY listening and the other one literally grabbed him by the arm and told him he couldn't listen to me and that they "HAD to go" and I literally walked to their car with them begging them to listen. I exposed so many of their things as complete bunk such as Jesus being Michael and things of that nature. Also the divinity of Christ. Jeff went into that as well. I've often wondered about that one guy that really seemed to grasp the fact that their doctrine is absolutely fatally flawed.

Love seeing that they are receptive and willing to talk about it and not being defensive. I was raised as a JW and left when I was 19, unfortunately, most of my family are still JWs and I haven't been able to reach them since they won't have contact with me. I pray for them all every day and all other JWs.

My neighbor is an older gentleman who has left Catholicism for JW… he’s miserable. But he says “I’ve just never put any stock into the Trinity doctrine”. He asked me to convert from being a believer to a JW & I declined. Now he won’t speak to me or acknowledge my existence anymore.

I looked on your website for a guide I can use with my lack of ability to witness to jehova witness. Ive been researching ever since I started talking with JW who knocked on my door. I invited them in once I had some info but they easily made excuses, Denied ... even said their founders were young Christians and didn't know everything and they don't follow Rutherford since he's passed away. It's overwhelming and I need help. I have lots of researched info and it's daunting putting it together so they can't refute

I just watched the whole video. Apart from the Preterism that Jeff was communicating with them in the 1st half, the 2nd half of the conversation was way better and I think Jeff did an excellent job showing them that Jesus is God and that the passages that the Watchtower distorts or misinterprets to say that Jesus is a created being don't stand up to scrutiny. Overall, great work Jeff and now that the seed has been planted, let's hope it'll be watered and that God will give the increase. 🙏🙏

Dear Christian preacher, l am glad you pointed out the truth of Jesus and the Trinity, and l pray for this man's salvation.
I just don't agree with your theology about the return of Jesus. There is going to be a literal return of Jesus to the earth and a literal 1000 reign of Jesus and His saints on earth when satan will be bound and then released and then the final war against the saints on earth and satan finally being cast into hell. Jesus is literally going to return to the place from which He left on the Mount of Olives.
There is going to be a huge earthquake that will split the area in two and the 3rd temple is going to be destroyed. This temple hasn't been built yet.
We have not seen the rule of the man of sin yet or Jacob's trouble. The spread of the gospel had not taken place to the entire world when the second temple was destroyed. The gospel has only now been spread to the whole world and therefore those prophesies still have to be fulfilled. The 144 000 are literal jewish witnesses that will be on the earth after the church is taken into heaven before the judgement and wrath of God is to be executed to an unbelieving world, and Israel will be the main focus. Many jews will die, but a remnant will survive and the word says at that time all Israel will be saved. It will be at that time that the Jewish nation will finally recognize Jesus, their Messiah and the words will be fulfilled that Jesus spoke. YOU WILL NOT SEE ME AGAIN UNTIL YOU SAY BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.
