Well as an ex Jehovah's witness. I followed the headlines so far 14 of their elders in the Kingdom Halls have been arrested raping children as young as five.. One elder shot himself in the head before the police could get to him.. I've been there I know how bad they can be behind the scenes

I was raised as JW but a day came when my third daughter nearly died I begged God to save her and I would do whatever He wanted. And in Sept of 1968 I gave my life to Jesus for salvation.

His reply to Jehovah's Witnesses sounds like the reply the Pharisees gave to Jesus.
He literally told them they are following a false Christ when even if they don't believe Jesus and God are the same being, that is not true. Thats a disgusting fear mongering tactic and it probably immediately turned them off after such a nice discussion.

I love how they accept the conversation without aggression. Most conversations like this end in heated arguments and fights. But the 3 folks here all expressing their different views without snapping! I love that.

Especially when it's a stubborn person who knows better but they are loyal to the religion not really seeking truth. Almost seems like they haave a religious spirit controlling them. We can only pray for them to be set free.

The preacher is right on this stance. JWs believe Jesus is Michael the Archangel. So while the preacher claims to know the REAL Christ, lets check his channel to see IF He really does follow the Christ of Scripture without man-made traditions and holidays, OTHERWISE its also a religious and NOT A Scriptural truth he preaches. Lets follow YAHWEH and His Son Yeshua and Believe in HIS WORD and HIS WORD ALONE because the Truth NOT just Jesus BUT The WORD OF GOD (John 17:17) will set us free. (John 8:32)

Thank you for this, I have taken notes, my parents are deep into Jehovah’s witnesses I was saved in December and have been learning about Jesus myself, since when I did attend their meetings they never spoke of Jesus the way I am reading about him. I ask that you pray for all of those whose families have been lied to by the enemy and shackled to false believes because of ignorance and language barriers. That our Lord Jesus touches their hearts, minds and spirits, and shatters the lies and opens their eyes. I will deliver this message and I pray with all of my heart that my parents slowly but surely seek the truth for themselves and are set free by it. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Feel sorry for you, attending meetings and being in meetings is a different thing. You attend but never paying attention and get what was taught, thats why you ended up that way.

Well does he really know the bible as well as you say, he refers to John 1:1 as the beginning, but we can see its not God's beginning because he didn't have one everlasting to everlasting the beginning in John 1:1 only refers to the beginning of creation and there are bible text to support that.

If Jesus is God then maybe you can use your Bible to answer these questions If Jesus is God then why did he say "I am going back to MY GOD and MY FATHER ? So WHO is the God of Jesus, and what is his name, when you find the answer to that question then you will see the TRUTH behind WHO God is !
Jesus backed up that belief when in prayer to his heavenly father said,...”"This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. John 17: 3. Notice how he calls his father the ONLY TRUE GOD!
The first century Christians taught the same when they preached for example 1 Cor 15: 24-28 where we see in Vs 24 that Jesus has a GOD AND FATHER and that in Vs 28 he SUBJECTS himself to his God & Father!
SOME do say however, that Jesus does address God as his God and his father because he was A MAN however one of the clearest scripture which shows that Jesus is NOT God is Rev 3:12 where we see Jesus as NOT a man but back in heaven:
"The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. New International Version
So, please read Rev 1:1 which says: "a revelation from Jesus which GOD GAVE HIM"
So WHO is the God Of Jesus, and what is his name ?

I helped my previous church start an evangelism team. I wish we handled ourselves with the same level of grace, humility and patience of this wonderful pastor. Unfortunately, that Reformed church was deeply rooted in Calvinism which turned some of our evangelism efforts into internal disagreements and I left that church. My passion for evangelism is there, and after watching this man I’m inspired to evangelize, even alone. May God bless this man.
Calvinism is biblical. Calvinists should be the greatest soul winners because they know God is sovereign in salvation and God will save all His sheep thru the preaching of the gospel.

Makes you wonder how all 8 million plus Jehovahs witnesses manage to do such an organized work throughout the entire world. The speak in unity no matter who you speak to. I think they have Gods blessing on their work.
Yea calvinist are not big on evangelism. That’s because its not biblical. And you don’t need to share the Gospel because if God choose you you will get saved. But if not no matter what you do you will go the hell. It is a doctrine that send many people to hell because of the lies in it

I am a JW and I really loved how my sister and bother was very attentive to the man in being a good listener,we are interested in people and enjoy there feed back,thank you for showing appreciation for the work that we do, we are doing the work that Jesus Christ trained his disciples to do,(Matthew 24:14)to preach the good news about the kingdom.

1 Why CHRIST HIMSELF says in John 17:3 that HIS FATHER IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD?
How come CHRIST is called Mighty God in Isaiah 9:6, but the Father is called Almighty God Exodus 6:2,3, Revelation 5?
If the trinity is true, why Jesus says in Matthew 24 that He and the angels don't know the day of His coming, but the Father only? How come He doesn't mention the Holy Spirit?
How come JESUS CHRIST says that GOD the FATHER is His GOD? (Revelation 3:12)
Why CHRIST HIMSELF says in John 5:26 that as the Father have life in HIMSELF so He has given life to the Son?
I got at list 30 questions to show that the trinity is false.
But the only problem with the JW is that they believe that Christ was Created, but the Bible says He is DIVINE, because HE is the SON of a DIVINE GOD? Jesus was begotten by the Father, just like you are human, for you came from a human father.

I’m a Spanish speaker too sir end I Was a Jahova witness is so difficult to them to accept Crist divinity why because they don’t believe the John 1 1 was changed as a Cristian know I know they changed it because when they say a god the meaning change but the text say the verb was with God the text is talking about the beginning- so Jesus is the verb and he became flesh to save the world- the Espiret has no blood so that’s why God became flesh other wise he can’t die- in the old textment to cover or to forgive sins required blood - so Jesus came to die ones for ever. So he pay the price and we need to repent and accept his forgiveness amen.

Jesus is referred to as the “mighty god” or “only begotten god” who is at the fathers side or “Almighty’s side” showing Jehovahs superiority as the only Almighty god, an infinite being through out time. So yes even if Jesus was likened to or called a “god” he was in fact still created by another being that is superior to him and that is Jehovah.
Jesus called himself "I am". That is the name Jehovah used in Exodus. Jesus was not created.

I don’t have the ability to do what Jeff does. I could get all the proper responses in my head but to give people an organized, coherent response without hesitation is something that’s beyond my ability. It’s a blessing to watch Jeff do what he does. I marvel at it.
The Lord can give you strength to engage the way He wants you too. It may not be just like Jeff but God can empower you to do exactly what He wants. See 2 Cor. 12:9 about Jesus' power being make perfect in weakness. Also, see 1 Cor. 2:1-5 that shows that we may not come with excellence in speech but the Spirit can be demonstrated. Just depend on Him! Much love.

What I am seeing, is somebody who has taken one verse from the Bible and built theology around it, which is anti-biblical, as well as eisegesis, instead of being exegesis, like the Bereans.
Someone with Holy Spirit discernment understands how to read the Bible. We come as a child, the way God told us to. And we do not lean on our own understanding no matter how noble we may feel actually especially in spite of having it will we feel, since pride is a horrid sin.
The scriptures will never contradict themselves, and we’ll always confirm the gospel. If a passage seems to contradict the gospel, then it has not been rightly divided, such as in your case here.

I witnessed to two lovely older JW’s the other day. We hung out and just talked and lightly brought in the discussion about Jesus and the Trinity. I love them but people are so rude to them. Even know they are following a false teaching, we must love and respect them and correct them gently. Always be prepared to give an answer for the faith but do it with love and kindness, not argumentative. It took me many many stubborn years to learn that by the way. Now I know what it means to fully surrender to God

unless you can rebuke these verses that come from the same Bible you read, you have to accept the fact that Jesus is God.

Your entire argument is that Jesus is the son of God, and you are right, but you act like him being the son of God and God is mutually exclusive when it isnt.
Both can be true at the same time and there is scripture to support it.

If your theology requires you to pick and choose parts of the Bible to believe and disregard the rest then theres an issue with the theology.

Pastor Jeff, I thank God for you and your ministry, I recently had an encounter with a Jehovah witness while I was going to work, and at first I was hesitant to just tell them “hey I gotta go to work” but conviction filled my heart to just have a conversation and hear what they had to say, and I was able to have a good discussion while at the same exhort them to turn to the true Jesus Christ who is eternal and God…. I continue to pray for them, your video’s definitely are a reason why my conscience convinced me to talk to them.

It would be blasphemy to say these things about anything/anyone other than the Almighty God, YHWH. They cannot be said of a man or of an angel even Michael the Archangel without blaspheming.

I admired the calmness of everyone. Encouraging each one to really dig on the Bible and connect each one from old to new to understand it as a whole. There are lots of metaphors used which are sometimes we translate it lightly or different to the original meaning.

I had used to having had a lovely JW couple together with their beautiful child came to our place almost every Sunday we sat down and chatting. From their perspective to delivering their gospel I was respectfully said upfront that I got to share my Gospel too! And we met quite often just shared the faiths and I was trying to point out the differences from the text. Whether they agreed or not they listened and very charitably taken in what i had shown them. There was no argument between us. As time gone by we moved to overseas and had no idea how they have been. To share faith is take times, let the Holy Spirit do His work, us all we do is planting seed and charitable is the foremost thing we could do.💙

If a certain title or description phrase is found in more than one location in the Scriptures, it should never hastily be concluded that it must always refer to the same person. Such reasoning would lead to the conclusion that Nebuchadnezzar was Jesus Christ, because both were called "kings of the kings" (Dan 2:37, Rev 17:14); and that Jesus disciples were actually Jesus Christ because both were called "the light of the world" (Matt 5:14, John 8:12) We should always consider the context.

I commend JW for the way you go out 2x2 and try to reach people. It is biblical and commendable but God wants us to know Him not an organisation. I pray He shows you Himself in all truth. 🙏
Many Christians are " making disciples" and are not part of this organization. The fact that JW'S knock on doors, is not as important as the message they are preaching.
If they aren't preaching the gospel that Paul preached, they aren't preaching truth.

All the JWs that I know are cool like that loving and kind,and humble. I would hate to think how they would act if that weren’t JWs. All I know is these people go and knock on my door and bring the word to me. If that convert to another belief who’s gona come to my door. Ant no other church gona do it. When was the last time you’ve seen the Mormons in the hood. Never. Or in the prisons outreach

Ive started witnessing JWs at park. I ask them why they follow JW & who Jesus is. They admit Hes not Jehova. I explain that contrary to what they are told, Christians believe there are 3 persons & one divine essence or being and NOT 3 gods. That Jesus was worshipped but Jehova will not share His glory with another. Use their terminology as much as possible. Start small - plant that seed of doubt about the view on the diety of Christ. Thats my focus with them. John Ankerberg has great online articles that can help you. Make sure you have your scripture verses ready bc they will often say -where does it say that- . Learn from each encounter. And express your concern for them. I often share how a JW lady i knew was old and dying but felt compelled to still knock on doors bc she wasnt sure she had knocked in enough doors. Share your security in Christ. They dont have that. Im very shy but i too feel lead to witness. Holy Spirit will lead you.
This took him years of practice and knowledge to present the gospel like this. It takes love and knowledge not to get defensive.
Why should it take years? Shouldn't the holy Spirit be able to speak through you right away?
@mattr.1887 It can take years to conquer the desires and sinful nature of the flesh. If an uneducated person with no life experience receives Jesus Christ at 20 Years old, it will be very difficult for that person who has no life experience or knowledge of the Bible to get into a debate with a 50 year old atheist with multiple PHDs. That being said, the Holy Spirit does what it wants. If the 50 year old is seeking God, then that 20 years old who was saved the day before they met would get threw to him about his or hers testimony receiving Jesus. Pride sometimes can cause us to get argumentative in our early baby years of our walk. Most people get become defensive when they don't know how to explain things properly when hit with tough questions.

( 1 corinthian 11:3 ) why is it that, despite being a believer, sir Isaac Newton did not believe in the trinity? Paul is, under inspiration, showing us how to understand the writings of John (John 17:3). Do you believe Jesus' words recorded at John 17:3?
