Typically Protestants will assert Ephesians 2:8-9 which says:
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Since “works” have nothing to do with our justification they then argue that man is justified by “faith alone”. Obviously the biggest issue with this take is that when Paul says “works” he had a very specific kind of works in mind which would be “natural human works”. Paul wasn’t saying that “supernatural good works” cannot result in justification. In fact he’s admitting that those kind of works can and do result in justification in Romans 2:13 where he says:
“for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;”
And then there is of course Romans 2:6-7 which says:
“who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS: 7to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life;”
When it comes to this particular passage what a Protestant will argue is that this was some kind of hypothetical[i.e; you could be justified by the law if you could keep it but obviously nobody can or does]. The problem with that particular argument is that John’s Revelation doubles down on what Paul is saying:
      [Revelation 22:12]
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”
Was Our Lord likewise speaking hypothetically? Certainly not. Especially when Paul clarifies that the “reward” is the inheritance of eternal life in his letter to the Colossians:
“since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”(Colossians 3:24)
The “reward” being talked about in Rev.22:12 is the “inheritance” from Col.3:24 which is alternatively referred to as “eternal life” in Romans 2:6-7.
      SO WHY ALL THE CONFUSION?
Primarily the confusion is because Protestants don’t have a developed theology about merit. They do not understand that God’s rewards can be gifts and God’s gifts can be rewards. So if God rewards my good works with the “gift” of eternal life then I “cannot boast” and say that God gave me what he owed me because He didn’t. It wasn’t a strict obligation. It was just Him being nice. Or as Paul says:
““Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?”(Romans 11:35)
Another passage that Protestants will appeal to is Romans 3:20 which says:
“Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.”
However St.Augustine had a very well-reasoned commentary on this particular passage. He writes:
“When St. Paul says, therefore, that man is justified by faith and not by the observance of the law [Rom. 3:28]. he does not mean that good works are not necessary or that it is enough to receive and to profess the faith and no more. What he means rather and what he wants us to understand is that man can be justified by faith, even though he has not previously performed any works of the law. For the works of the law are meritorious not before but ⭐️AFTER⭐️ justification. But there is no need to discuss this matter any further, especially since I have treated of it at length in another book entitled On the Letter and the Spirit.”-St.Augustine, Faith and Works
Luther himself hated this commentary of course, saying:
““It was Augustine's view that the law...if the Holy Spirit assists, the works of the law do justify…I reply by saying "No".” (Luther's Works 54, 49)
Obviously Luther was at a loss as to give a satisfactory rebuttal to St.Augustine’s analysis. He very quietly conceded that there was another form of justification that was not a matter of “faith alone” but through works also. He writes:
“There are two kinds of righteousness that is the righteousness of another, instilled from without. This is the righteousness of Christ by which he justifies through faith... The second kind of righteousness is our proper righteousness, not because we alone work it, but because we work with that first and alien righteousness. This is the manner of life spent profitably in good works..." -Martin Luther, Two Kinds of Righteousness, 1519.
This is something of a “come to Jesus” moment for Luther, since in calling this “other” justification “proper” and a result of cooperation with works, he has in fact adopted the Catholic position.

@@DUB-Track quote----.. I read NASB,... unquote
      Okay
Acts 9:31--which Catholics inisist is saying "universal"

      Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samar′ia had peace and was built up; and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit it was multiplied.
WHERE are the words "universal" or "Catholic"??? READ THAT verse again. It mentiones THREE areas near Israel.
      Where exactly is Judea?
      Kingdom of Judea .
The Kingdom of Judea, often called the Kingdom of Judah or Mamlekhet Yehuda in Hebrew, was one of those cultures in the region called the Levant, near present-day Israel, between the Mediterranean and the Dead Sea.
      ONE AREA!!!
      Galilee,----northern Israel
Introduction. Galilee is a region in northern Israel bounded to the south by the Jezreel Valley; to the north by the mountains of Lebanon; to the east by the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan River, and the Golan Heights; and to the west by the coastal mountain range.
And: Samaria----In the Bible the district of Samaria is called Mount Ephraim. Geographically, it consists of the central region of the mountains of western Palestine, bordered in the east by the River Jordan, in the west by the Plain of Sharon, in the north by the Plain of Jezreel (Esdraelon), and in the south by the valley of Ayalon.

Problem is his approach basically using typical fundamentalist attacks and giving Catholic no time to respond. He is hitting at Deep Catholic beliefs and reality of sacraments that are Christ’s active ministry to us through He Himself.
So he is reinforcing ideas that further entrench fundamentalists.
This morning I finished reading the first public exorcism in the Church hundreds of years ago that included Calvinist and other protestant ministers.

The problem is the doctrine of the modern Catholic Church is light years different than the reformed Protestant church. There is countless caveats and nuances to reformed doctrine, as there is with Catholic doctrine. The Protestant doctrine is clear and biblical, but she has a completely different view of most Protestant doctrines. It may seem, at times, like he hasn’t answered her question, but its only because either he needs to explain further, cause she’s not picking up on the nuance, or they’ve gone off on a different tangent. That would be like me saying to a Catholic, “do you teach that everything that the pope says is infallible.” And of course the Catholic would respond,”no, only what is ex cahedra.” Then I were to not understand the nuance of what Catholics mean by infallibility and then proceed to assume the Catholic hasn’t answered my question. Look, a lot of what Jeff says, which I agree with, is a cause for debate even amongst fellow Protestants, it’s a far broader debate when dealing with Catholicism, cause you have to deal with purgatory, the immaculate conception, sola scriptura, transubstantiation, veneration of saints…. The list goes on.

Coming to the memorial table to honor what Christ did for us (“do this in *remembrance* of me”) while being in willful disobedience through unrepentant sin is dishonoring the work of Christ, that’s what Paul means by eating and drinking in an unworthy manner. If the sacrament itself cleansed us of sin there wouldn’t be a problem, would there.
“This is my body broken for you … this is my blood …” Is just like the classic commercial “this is your brain (shows an egg), this is your brain on drugs (cracks the egg in a hot frying pan)” It’s the same thing. The egg is not our literal brain. Christ was presenting the elements as representations of what He was about to do for all believers.

Ok, this Pastor is misinterpreting Ephesians. Let’s look at the verse.
    Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God- 9 not because of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
    1. The beginning of verse 9 says it’s not because of works. The issue that Protestants have, is that Paul isn’t talking about good works here. Paul mentions good works in verse 10. In verse 9, the works that Paul is speaking about are the Jewish works of the law.
So no, we can do nothing to please God without grace.

19:20 now who is adding to the Bible? Jesus never said that “eating his flesh and drinking his blood” means “believing in him and coming to him”. Where is that in the Bible? In fact when he was pressed about it he doubled down, allowed many to walk away and never said it was symbolic.
The first man was trying to say this and the pastor kept interrupting him.
EDIT: I am putting here this because there are too many comments and I have to keep answering the same arguments.
If it is only symbolic, why would Paul say "anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself" 1 Corinthians 11:29
"Do this in memory of me.” In Greek, this statement reads, “Touto poieite eis tan eman anamnesin.”
Touto poieite can be translated as “do this” or as “offer this”. “poiein” is translated as “offer this” or “sacrifice this” over seventy times in the Old Testament.
Also, every time “anamnesis” appears it is within a sacrificial context (see, for example, Numbers 10:10). It also can be translated as memorial offering or memorial sacrifice. While these nuances are lost in the English translation, the apostles would have understood the sacrificial meaning of Christ’s words.

Some one should ask him where the Bible came from? It is a Catholic book...the Catholic Church choose the books...only the Catholic Church had the right to interpret it.

      @conservativefather5446 21 день назад

A catholic book? The entire NT was written by 95AD. How on earth do you get that? No where in the Bible does it say baptism saves you. What about Titus 3:5? What about Isaiah where our righteousness are filthy rags? Why is it the council of Trent which is still alive in Catholicism that twists Ephesians 2:8-9 and adds “plus works”? What about the fact Catholics have their own Bible which isn’t the New Testament? Why do Catholics pray to Mary and use the rosary to worship her more than the Father? Or worship her alone? It’s completely against doctrine to pray to dead people! What about John 14:6. Where Jesus specifically says “I am the way the truth the life and NO ONE gets to the father except through Me”? You can’t even choose a scripture out of context to support Catholicism. Let alone making false idols. Let alone pergatory. Or even the fact the catholic timeline of changes is even worse than jehovas witness. What about the catholic involvement in Islam case in point Khadijah, the mother of Islam? What about the dark ages where Catholics banned the Bible all together and killed 20,000,000 Christians? Do your research kid. Catholicism is the seed of Satan and perverts scripture which is why so many priests are perverts. I’m not a fan of Calvin but he does have doctrine that’s on point like many men, but I’m never going to call myself a name of someone or something other than a follower of Jesus (Luke 9:23)…. You also won’t notice any Catholics who can stay biblical, they make things up, like pergatory and many other things. Especially the fact they think man can forgive sins. Only
Jesus forgives sins Matthew 23:8-10, calling them men Father alone is grounds to run away, power to forgive is insanely false idolatry. (Hebrews 9:22, Mark 2:7) and so many more. The reason we have the Bible is from God alone. Not because some perverts who deviated from God had something to do with the cannon. “The kings heart is held in the hands of the Lord like rivers of water He turns them wherever He wishes”

This was an interesting video, but it was a little unfair. We have an actual pastor, who has probably gone to Bible school. On the Catholic side, you have people who have a fair knowledge of their Church's teachings, but not on the level of the pastor. What would be great is to hear a debate between two experts - a Protestant Pastor and a Catholic Priest or Theologian. Both sides would have a very strong knowledge of their faith, and then we could really see which side stands up better.

So I love this conversation, i whole heartedly believe most of what the paster is teaching however the teaching that we cannot lose our salvation is incorrect. Here are scriptures to support that.
    Romans 11: 11-24
    John 15:1-11
    2 peter 3:17-18
There are probably more but there are a few. We cannot be separated from Christ by any earthly or spiritual beings or powers, however we can be separated from christ by pur own will and desires. God will never possess someone or force himself upon someones life. If you choose to walk away from him he will let you but he does say it would be worse to know him and turn away 2 Peter 2:21. As someone who was taught this pastors line of thinking when i was a child i had to learn what the word says and change my understanding to match his word. Blessings to you both! I hope this post and bring a desire to dig into this a little more! God bless you guys!

You are correct. The last supper was the Passover meal. Every Passover is now the remembrance of the death of the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ along with the prior remembrance of the Deliverance out of Egypt. The, "this" in, "do this" is the Passover. In John 6:4, before the passages about eating and drinking the Flesh and Blood of the Lord Jesus, the Apostle John wants you to understand the context in which these words were about to be given. The Apostle reminds the reader that the Passover is about to happen where they would be eating and drinking the Passover Lamb, matza, bitter herbs and the 4 cups of wine. This is critical to understanding what it means to eat the Flesh and drink the blood of the Lord Jesus. Later in the chapter, he tells us what eating and drinking of him is:6:35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst." He wasn't talking about divine cannibalism. Eating and drinking of the Lord Jesus Christ is coming to him and believing on him alone for salvation.

No, the question is not who interprets scripture best. You cannot see past your own assumptions if you think that is the problem.
Scripture is one of many Church traditions, and in fact one of the later traditions. Our Lord did not instruct Peter to write a book, He told him to found a Church. And yet for some reason, Protestants think the bible is the single and only source of authority.
Where in the bible does it say we must only derive authority from within it?
The real problem is protestants take one Catholic tradition - the Scripture that we compiled - and confusedly try to use it to undermine the rest of Church tradition.

"I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: *she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel."* (Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible)
      Now look at Romans 16:20:
*"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you."* (Same Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible)
*"Since the children have flesh and blood, He (Jesus) too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death-that is, the devil-"* Hebrews 2:14
*"The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work."* 1 John 3:8
So according to the Catholic faith who actually crushes Satan: God/Jesus or Mary??
Oh....and by the way, there is no mention of Mary, nor is she anywhere to be found in Revelation 20 when Satan is finally cast into the lake of burning sulfur...just saying!

Mary didn't consent to anything because if you carefully read the narrative in Luke 1:28-38, you will observe Mary had no choice in the matter: Notice the word "will" that the angel uses:
"The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. *You WILL conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus.* He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”
“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
The angel answered, *“The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.* So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.”
*“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”* Then the angel left her."
Sorry, but God was not waiting for Mary's approval to bring our Lord and Savior into this world.

I used to listen to this channel all the time several years ago, went from fundamentalism, to evangelicalism, to Protestantism, and eventually became Catholic. (Sorry orthodox lol) I appreciate the zeal of you Jeff and the work that your doing, but the sacramental life is very real and I pray that one day you’ll experience more of God through the church he established. Back in the day I would have watched this video and thought those Catholics were going to Hell because they believe a perverted gospel but now with fresh eyes I see what they say and I believe it and am not tripped up by the words you use. No offense to you Jeff, I love you as a brother in Christ, you’ve done a lot for my personal faith, I just wish you would try to see the Bible through a lens that’s not solely Calvinism.

If eating Christ's flesh and drinking His blood meant just believing that He was the Messiah, I don't think that would be a hard teaching for the disciples to accept. It would, however, be a very difficult teaching for them to accept that they needed to actually drink His blood since that is forbidden in mosaic law.

Jeff Durbin's argument that Catholic's aren't perfected by the Sacrifice of Christ is untenable. His argument is because we need to be forgiven when we commit sins in the present, that we are not being perfected by the Sacrifice of Christ. The Bible never says we are forgiven of our future sins and invokes us to daily pray "forgive us our trespasses." We obviously are not forgiven of future sins if we need to confess our sins (1 John 1:9) to be forgiven and cleansed of all unrighteousness. Also, John says that Jesus is our advocate with the Father if we commit sins 1 John 2:1. If we were forgiven of all future sins, we wouldn't need an advocate interceding for us perpetually in heaven to obtain the forgiveness of sins. We are forgiven of our past sins when we repent. However, future sins are not forgiven until we confess our sins and then Jesus, our advocate intercedes to the Father on our behalf. The Father is able to forgive our sins because he has been appeased by the Sacrifice of Christ. Thus, the Sacrifice of Christ does perfect those who are being sanctified - whether at Calvary or re-presented in the Mass (there is one Sacrifice).

You are confusing justification with sanctification my Brother. We are perfected once and for all ‘eternally “ through the righteousness of Christ, not our own. The sins we commit after our redemption, result in loss of fellowship with our Father, not loss of the eternal life Jeff is referring too. Hebrews says we can boldly approach the throne of God because of the finished work of Christ and HIS righteousness, again not our own. Our own righteousness is like filthy rags to our Heavenly Father (Isaiah 64:6). Sanctification is the life long process where the Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out to be more like Christ.

@@jonahstewart4682 Christ sacrifice was the perfect atonement for sin. There is only one Sacrifice offered once for all but there is ongoing dimension to it's presentation in heaven and on earth. We are perfected by the one Sacrifice of Christ because the Sacrifice appeases the Father's wrath - and we can be forgiven of our sins and sanctified. Once for all means there no longer has to be a new sacrifice for sins, not that it isn't continually presented.
Just as Christ intercedes and continually presents his Sacrifice for our sins in the heavenly sanctuary doesn't mean we aren't perfected by the Sacrfice....so too, the presentation of that Sacrifice in the Mass doesn't mean we aren't perfected by the Sacrifice. The ongoing presentation doesn't limit it's ability to appease the Father's wrath, forgive our sins, and sanctify us.
Also, it would be incorrect to say that "we are only perfected at Mass." That would be like saying we have to present at Calvary to be perfected by the Sacrifice of Christ. We don't have to be present at the Sacrifice to be perfected by it. I think this is one of Jeff Durbin's misconceptions too. Christ applies the merits of the Sacrifice to us when we have faith, repent, and are baptized - and throughout our lives in the sanctification process. Being present at mass and receiving Jesus in Holy Communion is important for our sanctification but it isn't the only way that we are perfected by the Sacrifice.

Outside the Church there is no Salvation.”
      ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️
How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers?
Reformulateded positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:
      ⬇️
“Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. ➡️ Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it” ⚠️⬅️
(CCC here quotes The Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, “Lumen Gentium,” 14, from the documents of Vatican II).
The Church is very clear here. There is no salvation apart from a salvific union with the Catholic Church. However, the Catechism continues:
This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church: “Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation” (quoting, Lumen Gentium, 16).
“Although in ways known to himself God can lead those, who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men” (quoting Ad Gentes, 7, another document from Vatican II).

A simple way of putting it is:
      • All salvation comes from Christ
      • Christ has linked salvation to Baptism
      • Baptism is the entryway into the Church
      • Therefore, the Church is necessary for salvation
Our Blessed Lord Founded a Visible Church. In Matthew 16:19 our Lord gives this authority over his Church to Saint Peter: “Whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
In Matthew 18:18, he gives the power to all the apostles: “Amen, I say to you, whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
His Church gave the World the Bible in the year 382 AD. (Do your research into the "Biblical Canon" and how it came about through various councils - dont just take my word for it.. study it.) See here:
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_canon
Here's a quote right out of the Catechism of the Catholic Church regarding: "Outside the Church there is no salvation." Study the Early Church Father's too..Google ( www.churchfathers.org ) and read for yourself.
I'll leave you more quotes below as well.. But read for yourself regarding this fact: I rely on our Blessed Lord's One Holy Catholic & Apostolic Church guided by the Holy Spirit to provide me with All Truth (Not my "own opinion").

      Early Church Father's:
Lactantius (died A.D. 310): "It is the Catholic Church alone which retains true worship. This is the fountain of truth, this is the abode of the Faith, this is the temple of God; into which if anyone shall not enter, or from which if anyone shall go out, he is a stranger to the hope of life and eternal salvation." (The Divine Institutes)
Saint Ambrose (died A.D. 397): "Where Peter is therefore, there is the Church. Where the Church is there is not death but life eternal. ...Although many call themselves Christians, they usurp the name and do not have the reward." (The Fathers of the Church)
      St. Augustine:
"In the Catholic Church, there are many other things which most justly keep me in her bosom. The consent of peoples and nations keeps me in the Church; so does her authority, inaugurated by miracles, nourished by hope, enlarged by love, established by age. The succession of priests keeps me, beginning from the very seat of the Apostle Peter, to whom the Lord, after His resurrection, gave it in charge to feed His sheep (Jn 21:15-19), down to the present episcopate."
      St. Ignatius A.D. 35 to 107:
"See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. -Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 8
Saint Jerome (died A.D. 420): "As I follow no leader save Christ, so I communicate with none but your blessedness, that is, with the Chair of Peter. For this, I know, is the rock on which the Church is built. ...This is the ark of Noah, and he who is not found in it shall perish when the flood prevails. ...And as for heretics, I have never spared them; on the contrary, I have seen to it in every possible way that the Church's enemies are also my enemies." (Manual of Patrology and History of Theology)
Saint Thomas Aquinas (died A.D. 1274): "There is no entering into salvation outside the Church, just as in the time of the deluge there was none outside the ark, which denotes the Church." (Summa Theologiae)
Saint Robert Bellarmine (died A.D. 1621): "Outside the Church there is no salvation...therefore in the symbol [Apostles Creed] we join together the Church with the remission of sins: `I believe in the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins'...For this reason the Church is compared with the ark of Noah, because just as during the deluge, everyone perished who was not in the ark, so now those perish who are not in the Church." (De Sacramento Baptismi)
The Catholic Church teaches infallibly, “extra ecclesiam nulla salus,” or, “outside the Church there is no salvation.” But as with all dogmas of the Faith, this has to be qualified and understood properly.

*1 Corinthians 14:1* “Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy”
If prophecy exists, and it’s from God, then scripture is not the only thing which is God-breathed. And it’s common reason that all things which are God-breathed need to be assented to, thus things outside of written scripture need to be assented to.

Are you implying then that Jesus' death and the shedding of His blood isn't good enough to purify us from all our sins, but just some of our sins?!?
Sorry, but the one-time perfect sacrifice of Jesus on that Cross on Calvary *purifies true believers from ALL our sins.*
"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, *and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from ALL sin.*
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. *If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from ALL unrighteousness.* If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us." 1 John 1:7-10
No human purification needed because Jesus is our purification!!
The righteousness of Jesus becomes our righteousness for all who believe (Imputed righteousness):
*"But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,"* 1 Corinthians 1:30
*"For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous."* Romans 5:19
*"For God made Him who knew no sin to be a sin offering for us, so that in Him we may become the righteousness of God."* 2 Corinthians 5:21
*"and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,"* Philippians 3:9
Purgatory is an abomination to the finished work of Christ on the Cross. (John 19:30)
You have been deceived by the false teachings of Roman Catholicism.
