    Intermittent Fasting has worked so well for me these past 3 years; I’m just blown away by it. I do a clean fast, with only water, sparkling water, or black coffee. By stopping eating by 6 pm every evening and not eating until around noon the next day I can easily do 18 hour fasts each day. And I’m very mindful of the carbs I am consuming. This has totally changed my life! Lost over 40 lbs, am no longer pre-diabetic and feel better than I have in a long time! I’m 57.

      Way to go, @Tami Durcan ! The fasting can be a huge help, if the person's body is set up to succeed with fasting. Not everyone is. But the part about being mindful about your carbs is probably what is helping you succeed so much with the fasting. Keep it up!

    Blood sugar 129 in the morning after coffee about a month ago. Last week 117. Yesterday 109. Seems to be moving in the right direction but still room for improvement.

      True, but we like to see people take it first thing, before they eat or drink anything, even coffee.

    Dang bro! Your videos are awesome.
    Chronic stress has kept me from healing. I’ve been doing keto, meditation, deep diaphragmatic breathing, etc and working on my sleep.
    Rumination is a killer.
    If I could fix my sleep, I could heal.
    I’m much better than in recent years thanks to keto and Alan Watts.
    Infinite gratitude for sharing your knowledge.
    Keep up the great work!
    Peace love and blessings 🙏

    I just downloaded the ebook and will read it now but I'm just curious if you have my issue covered. I naturally have always been a one to two meal a day person. I don't usually eat when I wake up but usually eat somewhere between 11-1 and normally don't eat after 6-7 in the evening. My A1c was 5.7 and glucose was 103. My issue seems to be high stress levels as I married a bipolar and life was really crazy in the beginning! I am just now learning how to handle my thought life and emotional well being after seven years but honestly my whole life has been overly complicated since birth so my stress levels have been high all my life. I do eat junk food but everyone in my family does. My grandma lived 95 years eating whatever she wanted (even tortillas everyday and one Dr Pepper! Eggs and oatmeal every morning!) with her only problem being thyroid and she took meds for it for over 30 years! I have also been more seditary lately and need to move more. My digestion has never been normal! Heartburn (constant) , constipation, sharp pains under right rib, steakhouse disease... I don't believe I am doing anything out of the ordinary diet wise but still struggle with this problem.

    Is having almost no dietary fat a bad idea if i am insulin resistant?
    I did the online course the other day, problem is, due to various health problems and medicens side effects i have a lot of brain fog and memory problems.
    So its hard for me to think about several things at once.
    I would recomend that if anyone is serious about getting their health in order that they do the coarse, its well thought out and organised.
    All the videos are short and strait to the point.
    Even my wife learned stuff from it and she has the learning capacity of a brick.

    Hi Anthony, so if a person has been on caRnivore/keto fir approaching 7 yrs, and has ketones albeit, extremely low, and BS is rising (extremely high at times), and also I believe I'm in catabolic dominant (expensive gluconeogenisus) state, and trying to address gut also. That being said there must be something I can do to bring BS down alongside my gut issue? I feel I'm missing something. I will try adding some carbs, but it never went well for me a few yrs ago. Definitely not metabolically flexible and feeling cornered into keto. Thanks for the learning

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Месяц назад

      Yeah, we see this a lot, and I even experienced myself after 5 years of strict keto and very low carb. This video can help exlain a little. ruclips.net/video/mKQ0OHLFRuA/видео.html
      but yes, there are usually imbalances involved. If you haven't already, Your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through running simple self-tests you can run at home to get an idea of what imbalances can be creating trouble, and what steps would help you correct them. You can find that free course here: kickitnaturally.com/course
      and if you get stuck, this page lists a variety of ways to get help or find your own answers: kickitnaturally.com/get-help/

      People who just want to be told what to do, almost never improve their heath. Be patient with yourself and allow yourself the time to actually learn what is causing problems for YOU, because that will vary from person to person. If you're just looking for someone who will tell you steps to take, they are going to be right about 18% of the time.

    What about the Dawn phenomenon, doesnt our body automatically raise blood sugars before we wake for energy is it best to wait 1 to 2 hours after waking to test blood, sugars,????? Our bodies are So Dang Complicated aren't they,,NOW get off me,,

      @KickItNaturally  Месяц назад

      :)
      We like to look at blood sugar right when you rise because that's the best sign of whether or not your body could recover from the day before. Depending on a lot of factors, blood sugar could also go up the longer a person is awake, even if they don't eat.

      If you're looking for remedies in a 2 minute video, this is the wrong place. We like to teach people how to fix the actual underlying causes of their problems, and that takes longer to explain. You can explain that in one two minute video in most cases.
