►A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17-19, then went part-time ever since, holding 'day-careers' like chef (red seal papers), spiritual health care while raising a family. As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, playing International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I like to explore grunge, pop rock and alternative, alt-folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar, ambient electronic and classical as well. Recently i 'discovered' shoegaze and lo-fi. I have a home studio that is ramping up for lots more music so stay tuned.

The second drummer in this period is Clive Deamer who has worked with Portishead, they have three albums worth checking out.

Seperator has always made me think of (or feel) an English countryside late March/early April day, the kind with broken cloud and intense golden light and crepuscular rays shining through all day. The soil is wet from rain, the grass is coming to life and the first layer of green has started poking through on the ploughed soil on the fields.
I know that's a very specific vibe! One thing I love about Radiohead is the intense imagery their music conjurs in the mind, and I'm sure the imagery is different for everyone.

To me, the King of Limbs was made to be played live. This tour was so fun!
I don’t care to much for “Little by little” album version. But, this live performance change everything for me.
    Thanks for the reaction Dean!

Codex is up there with their best in my opinion. Often overlooked, but such a banger

The first time I head it it was a 9/10, then slowly became one of my favourite Radiohead songs. It instantly transports me.

They are great at cramming a ton stuff into 3-5 minutes they never repeat themselves and always manage to keep it fresh.

About the brevity of Beatles songs, Thom said the same thing you said in a interview back in 2003. Hail To The Thief was a conscious decision of the band to write shorter songs. I remember Thom said that Happiness Is A Warm Gun sounds like it lasts for ten minutes.

Just love this version of separator, especially the ending with the two guitars playing at eachother, answering the others call.

Love that someone is finally reacting to one of their most underrated albums and especially their from the basement version, it almost beats "in rainbows" and on some days this version is my favourite Radiohead album.

If we’re going to compare Radiohead to a filmmaker, my vote would go to Denis Villeneuve. You probably already know about “Arrival”, since you love sci-fi.
Anyone reading this, do yourself a favour and go watch his movie “Incendie”. Opening scene starts with “You and whose army” by RH.
    Cheers!

@@deanwolfechannel I'm also a big sci-fi fan iv'e been reading books from that genre since I was about 10-11 it's a shame that fantasy (which I love as well) is where the money is right now. There are a lot of great writers that are writing fantasy right now it's kind of like a golden age except there's a lot of junk around the over saturated market too.

I haven't watched the whole thing yet but in case you haven't noticed, they have 2 drummers (both bald so they kinda look like each other) for this whole session and theyhave been using two drummers for their live performances since then.

Reminds of U2... What a dreadful, disgusting idea.
Or - how to destroy entire impression of video.
Be careful with associations and metaphors.

🤣 u2 made some fine music but I'm with you, Bono has completely ruined the band, left me with 'a bad taste in your mouth', to quote his own lyrics.

@@deanwolfechannel I don't care about Bono they made some really good music and I love Zooropa and pop and at least 4 other albums they were a really good band Actung Baby is an incredible album.
