Is there any other information online about this site? After a quick look I can't find anything - any help appreciated! I want to read up on the research!
That whole site has been made from great big blobs of lime mortar guys!!I see large and small blobs of lime everywhere the larger ones would maybe have been carried by two people in an animal skin and dumped and hand moulded into shape, be on the look out for finger marks but they will be rare where the lime stone is exposed to weathering. Very interesting site!!! The appearance of reptile scales I think has been achieved by many balls or blobs of lime mortar all piled on top of each other and sculpted into animal shapes and features. WOW its amazing.
This is quite the theory. Please have a look at the scene in the cave. Jay puts his hand in five finger marks. Is that what you mean? The rock looks like putty.
The holes would have been filled with oils and lit would have illuminated the creatures. Lighting the way, and scarring/creeping out unwanted visitors.

How can any intelligent person look at that and think that it's just natural?? you can totally see that it's been shaped and formed into the different turtles and reptiles etc, very very cool! I absolutely love archeology, there is something always new, exciting and mysterious to make us ask questions!! Just mind-boggling and way awesome, thank you so much for the video really enjoying it!❤❤
I don't think anyone is arguing it has been modified. The petroglyphs are for certain. The eye sockets are almost certainly carved. I don't believe it is monolithic. I think it's a natural outcropping that people were able to see certain shapes and then chiseled away at to help better define. The dating is very silly. This could have been created at any time. An archeology survey discovering artifacts to help date is required before any educated guesses can be made. I also don't get the "it's a temple" statement. Why does everything have to have religious or spiritual meaning? When I was a kid I found rocks that looked like reptiles. I saved them and enjoyed looking at them, but I didn't worship them or make offerings to the reptiles gods.
"How can any intelligent person look at that and think that it's just natural?? " the intelligent person in question might take a look at geological activity and history of the area first rather than give it in the bias of "it looks like it"
I am very impressed by the video you have posted. I have been analyzing the images and the surroundings many times... From my point of view, in that place they made sacrifices to the Gods and in the reddish colored area, in my eyes it is the figure of the red dragon.
Wow, how cool would that be? Now that you said that I can't unsee it! Can you imagine seeing that from the valley floor? It had to look absolutely mystical and magical!❤❤❤
Certainly weathered stone, but with the clear rock carving in the cave & indentations then certainly possible these rocks were also carved as animal heads. I'd imagine the holes on top of the heads could have served multiple purposes, water holes to catch rain water to drink, holders to create fire pits or for holding wooden poles.
There are places in the UK with almost identical natural erosion. It takes you back to gazing at clouds, you can have hours of fun engaging our strange pareidolia faculty. I enjoyed watching the hysterical pareidolia in the video.
The Andes are replete with libation bowls cut in stone. And, those carvings are right below the pictogram, suggesting they record migration patterns or timings.
This is absolutely awesome! There is no doubt in my mind that there was human occupation here. The stones look intriguing, but I was totally hooked once these were shown to be placed purposefully facing north or south in some areas as well as the seaman's seat where a fire has clearly been lit. These past weeks have been quite the time for South American archeology. Just now an underground chinkana was found that runs underground connecting Sacsayhuaman to the Qorikancha temple in Cusco which turned out to be the secret tunnel Amsel Pi Rambla spoke of in the 1980s. I think I heard one of the team members refer to the site as a huaca/waka at some point? If it is a huaca, is there any native context on these structures among the locals that attribute any meaning to them?
Where to begin! Was that the tunnel where 18th century treasure hunters found “life sized golden jaguars with emerald eyes?” Indeed I said “huaca”. In this context, every stone figure is an individual huaca. Hence; collectively; we refer to the site as a “temple”. We will put it into richer indigenous context very soon on a level stream. There is already one stream, so watch that for now.
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast I think it may be the same one, it was considered a myth for the longest time until now. I am Peruvian and its unfortunate to say that I haven't seen much coverage on the topic but its still very recent and I don't think much has been done to study it further but hopefully that will change. I wouldn't be surprised if these Inca and Pre-Inca tunnels have existed in all of Peru and other areas like the one underneath Teotihuacan. As for this stone temple you have found in Colombia I hope it gets visibility online quick - Flint Dibble will absolutely soil himself when he sees this. EDIT: Are you familiar with the Marcahuasi stone forest in Peru? That's what came to mind when I saw this because of the gallery of stone figures
I am going to guess a caiman with an open mouth! It has a double-crest tail and chunky crawling legs. I think they even carved the separation between the tail and the right leg.
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast Really man!? Great. You know that I grew up in Bogota and I never heard of this rock before. I thought about the Caiman or some kind of alligator because is typical of the region. Thank you for showing, can't wait for the second part. Great work!
Im a little disappointed the word petrification didnt come up at all as a possibility some might be carved or altered but those points were really lacking the sophistication of the rest of the "sculptures" if theyve been there that long a lot of people have came and gone though. who knows awsome find regardless 👍
So very interesting! I would think in their prime these were probably all painted etc. Imagine the spectacle this would have been walking up to it!😮 *When entering the cave at the beginning, the "scratch" marks left from the removal of materials reminds me of what is seen in the huge caves in China, Petra, India, Darankuyu(?), etc. A significant part of our history on this planet is unknown, possibly kept that way on purpose. Why? I have no idea!🙏
Perhaps the bowls on the heads burned oils. The shadows would flicker and move on the ground. The black oils would have run down through all the scales adding further movement. An ancient zoomorphic museum built in honor of the animals they hunted.
Petite Jean Mountain in Arkansas has similar features on its stones that look like giant turtle shells, it looks the same, but people here enhance them, natural beauty with carved animal faces.
bro, we have excatly the same in france, the fontainebleau forest, lot of statues with same skin, turtles, snake, crocodile, dolphin and other. Officialy, it's natural
Thank you for sharing. If that one rock craving is truly an elephant, then I am not that shocked. Robert Edward Grant has videos on RUclips showing his findings of elephant craving in South America. I think you would be surprised where. If you continue to research this site. Don't be surprised by what you find. Goodluck and thank you
Yup. They are of the "Grupo Guadalupe, K2G, Ksg" [Guadalupe Group]. They knocked in holes to resemble eyes and mouths, but in some instances they are mounted on smaller granite rocks.
It appears to me anyway that many archaeologists assume ancient man-made items are either a tomb, a temple, or an accessory of a temple. I built an interesting pond in my backyard with interlocking natural stone. Perhaps if someone in the future finds it they will assume it was a baptismal pool. Maybe some ancient cultures just built things because they wanted to create cool-looking things. Similarly today people are commonly obsessed with owning a cool-looking car and an elaborate home.
I don't understand why modern archeology sholarship is so angry about all this. After all, they get to write a whole new batch of $400 college textbooks.😮
@HistoryFuzzPodcast I think that modern scholarship is tainted with a completely materialistic worldview. The widespread belief that when one dies, there is nothing after. All there is of their existence is what they have while alive. Therefore, they hold on to their theses like there's no tomorrow. Integrity is meaningless because there is no basis for morality. Legacy is meaningless if dead is dead.
I think some of this might be overenthusiastic pareidolia, but I have no doubt that these ancient people saw the same things and may have enhanced natural mud stone features. You can see in the beginning that tons of the random outcrops have similar texture. Again, that said, clearly people were here and carving things, you'll just have to prove these aren't sedimentary mud rocks that were enhanced.
I would REEEEALLY love to view this on a map, but the subtitles aren't cooperating and what I HEAR that was said for the locations isn't anywhere close when I google them. :(
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast yep, I understand that, it's the right thing to do 👍, I'm a big big fan of prehistoric art, techniques, artifacts, etc. Visited many sites & read a lot about the period.
Thank for the observations. Be sure to check out the live stream on the channel. It has fresh images and close ups.
These sculptures in Columbia mirroring the ones in France? Just wow!
We have a scheduled live stream next week comparing both sites up close. It’s on the channel in the live section. Hope to see you there.
Lidar, please.
That will happen soon! Subscribe and brace yourself!
My thought is those "offering" holes are for fires so the light would extenuate the details and dance and move in the flickering flames.
With you there! Perhaps the oils and fats from the different animals were burned in each one.
Amazing, subscribed, would love to see some lidar done over the area could be so much more hidden away
Come to La Pedriza, you can record 10 documentaries like this one. elephants, turtles, eagles, frogs...
Can by our send a link to some images?
this is awesome!!
Thanks for saying so.
amazing ancient megalithic of wonder🤠
If true... moltes gràcies! Really grateful
Was that the tunnel where 18th century treasure hunters found “life sized golden jaguars with emerald eyes?”
Indeed I said “huaca”.
I am with you.
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast Really man!? Great. You know that I grew up in Bogota and I never heard of this rock before. I thought about the Caiman or some kind of alligator because is typical of the region. Thank you for showing, can't wait for the second part. Great work!
You guys should go to Fontainebleau in France
We plan to do just that. It’s featured at the end of the film.
I would love to see a CG reconstruction of this site.
Working on it mate!
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast 🥰
amazing work of the giants of ice age civilisation, before the flood, must be connected to Mu.
I couldn’t comment on that. But everything here could be achieved by groups of people with a lot of time, which is perhaps more spectacular!
Also should mention the polygonal masonry as is found in egypt. Either the stones fit together very well or they've been morphed.
Can you explain what you mean by "morphed"?
I need to go here :)
You need to go here…historyfuzz.com/colombia-2025
Lydar first😮
Im a little disappointed the word petrification didnt come up at all as a possibility some might be carved or altered but those points were really lacking the sophistication of the rest of the "sculptures" if theyve been there that long a lot of people have came and gone though. who knows awsome find regardless 👍
We saw no signs or petrification so we felt best to leave it out and only include what we knew to be accurate. Thanks for the comment!
So very interesting! I would think in their prime these were probably all painted etc. Imagine the spectacle this would have been walking up to it!😮
*When entering the cave at the beginning, the "scratch" marks left from the removal of materials reminds me of what is seen in the huge caves in China, Petra, India, Darankuyu(?), etc.
Contact Mudfossil University. Rodger knows what that is
I’ll do that. Thanks for the heads up.
Petite Jean Mountain in Arkansas has similar features on its stones that look like giant turtle shells, it looks the same, but people here enhance them, natural beauty with carved animal faces.
That’s pretty much what is here, only enhanced a long time ago.
bro, we have excatly the same in france, the fontainebleau forest, lot of statues with same skin, turtles, snake, crocodile, dolphin and other. Officialy, it's natural
We featured that site at the end of the doc!
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast yes i see a little, same reptilian civilisation, very weird, thank's for this unknown site
Thank you for sharing. If that one rock craving is truly an elephant, then I am not that shocked. Robert Edward Grant has videos on RUclips showing his findings of elephant craving in South America. I think you would be surprised where.
If you continue to research this site. Don't be surprised by what you find. Goodluck and thank you
The thanks goes to you. Every comment helps us get ahead on RUclips. Tell me, do you personally think it’s a mastodon, or not?
I agree. They were becoming obsessed with aesthetics and materialism, and enhanced rocks to reflect what the saw, and liked.
Those carvings are for shadows of the sun like a sun dial
Do you mean the circular hole with the dot in the centre? Or all of the libation holes too?
Very cool no matter what
Can’t argue with that.
I don't understand why modern archeology sholarship is so angry about all this. After all, they get to write a whole new batch of $400 college textbooks.😮
It’s beyond me! While some of the best are saying “yes” it is what you claim, others are raging with anger and behaving like children.
Porque traen más preguntas que respuestas, y más vacíos, mas incertidumbre. Algunos ven el vaso medio lleno y otros medio vacío
I’ve found similar things just like all this on google earth down in southern South America.
What do you think the site is/was.
@ not exactly sure, but the places I found on Google Earth with similar things looks to dear be like monuments, and statutes in a town/city.
The cliff at the start greatly features enhanced bedrock; but the “temple” animals are all limestone. Mounted on smaller granite stones.
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast very cool!
So cool
Remember the snake cult in conan the barbarian?
Thulsa Doom was the chief! I am with you.
Amazing site!

Better do as much research as possible before they lock the place down and plant trees over it.
Don’t say that.
Are there any plans for more archeologist, geologist, scientist to examine this find? How would someone find out about future plans?
For now, keep an eye on this channel, and watch the live streams.
@HistoryFuzzPodcast I can do that.
I would REEEEALLY love to view this on a map, but the subtitles aren't cooperating and what I HEAR that was said for the locations isn't anywhere close when I google them. :(
Good! We aimed to mask the precise location. Part II coming soon.
I think of it as maybe an ancient classroom for children
Oh! Nice one. So young hunters could be shown where to attack different beasts?
They look so real
It’s like a frozen zoo!
The drone shot at 2.40.... looks at that straight line..... Looks like block work not a small mountain
Oh lord. Now you sound like Jay! He sees exactly the same thing.
Those markings in the shelter struck me as either art, or community planning.
Interesting, really...but not fully convinced....
We aim not to convince; but to present the data.
@@HistoryFuzzPodcast yep, I understand that, it's the right thing to do 👍, I'm a big big fan of prehistoric art, techniques, artifacts, etc. Visited many sites & read a lot about the period. So, I'd be delighted if the man made origin of these rocks is definitely proven. Good job, keep going & let us know. 😉

Yes mate. They belong to the Guadeloupe stadia.

I just read the synopsis. Thank you very much, I will be reading it next week,
Yes definitely those stones looks like there we're many different kind of dinosaurs in that área, in ancient times which trying to survive a catastrophe climbing the mountain, and they died and got solidify as rocks. 👍
Which ones are dinosaurs? 🤔
