    Awesome setup. None of my friends had heard of RSL until I bought my Speedwoofer 10S. Now we all have Speedwoofers. It dominated my SB1000 and my buddy actually prefers his 10S to his PB1000 Pro. Cleaner bass. Now to add C34Es for Atmos...

    Wow awesome room. A lot of thought went into it, all the necessary gear, etc.
    That plexiglass screen protector is an awesome idea. I need to get one to keep my dog's spit from landing on my screen when he shakes.

    Very well done. Great multipurpose setup. The receiver venting setup is excellent. I might paint the speaker grills to match the wall color, but that's just a style choice.

    Amazing well done! Great job and little hacks go big way. I didn’t know about that in wall back box thing that’s awesome idea.

      I've actually never seen that done anywhere, but I started thinking "I wonder if I could get more space back there by building a box of some kind" and it all went from there. I used my Legrand in-wall wiring panel in my mechanical closet as inspiration.

    Very well done Aaron, really love the concept. I think a lot of other videos do not take into effect the fact that we have real life lol, we have kids and pets. Would you have an actual walk trough video of the whole process?

      I actually do have videos of the installation process, I just haven't edited and put them all together. Man the attic part.. sucked lol

    Yeah you got a nice little minimalistic looking set up. Like what you've done with the cabinet. Especially the temperature warning, which activates the red lights! Very cool. I actually use similar fans to yourself but I use a thermal temperature probe which activates the fans. I also use a dirac and I don't know if you aware but I would imagine the biggest improvement you've done for your listening experience is probably having your couch well away from the back wall! Mind you it would be difficult for you to realise this. Not unless you was to get rid of the rear reflections coming off that same wall! You could always do what I did and do a little experiment by placing a temporary blanket up on the rear wall and then you'll probably hear the benefits. It made a noticeable difference for my small living room. So much so eventually the blanket came down and up went an absorption/diffusion panel. I was gonna show you my setup by leaving a link but at the end of day this is your video and I think it probably wouldn't have been appropriate! But if interested click on the red dragon twice and hit the short 3-minute Adele 2-channel stereo test video.

      I'll have to check it out, thanks. I do plan on making some absorption panels as well, I already have a stack of 8 24x4" rockwool batts just waiting for me to build frames!

    currently putting together the exact same system in my basement. W25e for the front R,L, surrounds , cg25 for the center, four w34e atmos, and a speed woofer 10s. I’m not creative enough to figure out the venting for the receiver, are you aware of anything that can be done to childproof the receiver if I put it on top of the ikea Besta stand? I’m thinking a plexi shield box or something along those lines to keep the toddler from mashing the buttons.

      If you need something designed/3d printed let me know and I can help with it. You could do a box to keep hands off, but you'd definitely need ventilation.

    Do you think these could work as L/R in a 20x30 room mounted on the 20 side? I'm not sure if they'd be powerful enough.

      @aaronmorris9352  10 месяцев назад

      I'm not sure, that would be an excellent question to ask RSL about. I'd probably get something a bit bigger for that much space, but it all depends on how much power you give things I suppose.

      So far, I absolutely love it. For the price on sale with Dirac Live, it's a winner! The only bummer of course is that it's not 11 channels so you cant do 7.1.4 with it, but that takes the price up quite a bit, and increases the size of the unit.
