Not sure about Max but at the end of the day Terry and Cindy wanted to continue so what the problem???? They sound amazing! Rhona fits right in!! Rhona has not been in the group longer than Maxine, and regardless, their success was with Dawn and Maxine they not had one hit with Rhona, she is just a hired salaried employee of Terry and Cindy, a fill in member.
Nobody going on videos with the original line up on asking where is Rhonda are they? But you do always see people asking where is Dawn and Maxine on Rhona performances, shows how much impact Rhonda has had ZERO.

They are so CLEAN with it! From the vocals, to the choreo and style. They are outperforming a lot of new girl groups nowadays if we’re being honest. Plus they have the hits to back themselves.🔥🔥
My god Cindy’s voice has gotten even better I swear! It’s hard to see them as En Vogue without Max and Dawn, but wow, they sounded fantastic! It seems as if Rhona’s only there for harmonies and the occasional ad-lib. Oh well. #1 on my wishlist for a reunion tour that I get to see is the original En Vogue. Of course they’d do a new album, too. I can dream, can’t I? 😁
Rhona is more prominent in their new songs which were written with her as a core part of the group. The "classic" En Vogue songs, she isn't used as much, which is a pity.
she had more shine at long concerts with less known songs and with their later songs that she was in the group for. she’s a beast 🔥

@@joranmikel7339 I agree Dawn is very talented but I just read an interview where she is now blaming Rafeal Sadik for all of her money problems and why she won’t work with that group again. Nobody has time for someone who is just always having an issue. Sometimes it’s not everybody else it’s you. These girls can sing their butts off and they got a move on from her. She is talented but not that talented where they have to put up with all her drama.

Kudos to Terry and Cindy for continuing to keep the machine going. It's easy to complain and jump ship but it speaks volumes for those who can stick to it even when the "fans" abandon you!

Max’s voice was so unique and very much needed...Without it, it’s throwing the whole harmony off. The other 3 sang around her bottom. Rhona or even Cindy for the matter, aren’t strong enough to replace Max’s bottom

Fans may miss Dawn and Max but they don’t dislike Rhona. She sings and harmonizes very well and she’s been singing these songs for 20 years.

@@horizontoday7874 That doesn't matter. When artists lip sync these days, they never lip sync to the original track. They record the vocals to a track to use for live performances. It sounds to me that these vocals were done in advance (with Rhona) and they are singing to a track. Their mics are live so they can come in when they want with live vocals. But they are not singing these harmonies live. Mariah was the first person to do that I think back in the early 2000s when her voice began to fail on her. It is recorded in a way to make you think they are singing live, real time; since it doesn't sound like the original record; but in actuality, they are singing to a prerecorded track that they made before the show. That is actually very common. Janet Jackson does it as well for her live tour. I am not saying that they are totaling lip syncing. There are adding some live lics and ad libs. But this is a prerecorded track playing behind them.

En Vogue never lip sync when it was the original four because their harmony was so tight. They only time they lip sync was when they was on Soul Train but everybody who performed on Soul Train lip synced. But yea, they did big time on here and I love Rhona voice and stepping in. En Vogue will never have a number one hit until the original four get back together, which I think will never ever going to happen.
Wrong. They sang to a backing track during choruses while the solos were live. Everyone in the industry does this, even when Dawn and maxine performs envogue songs 😉
