I LOVE Eddie Murphy! Always been a huge fan. I was married April 1989 and stayed at Four Seasons Hotel in Center City, Philadelphia. Stepped into the elevator with two huge guys standing in the back. I was still in my wedding gown. A voice said, congratulations, and when we turned around, it was Eddie standing behind these bodyguards. OMG, we were star struck and wish there were cell phones back then to snap a photo. What an amazing surprise and story to tell for years 🙂

Seriously, Eddie Murphy is one of if not literally the funniest man alive. I have never laughed so much in my life as I have when I was watching and listening to Eddie Murphy. He brings tears to my eyes and a pain in my gut every time. His humor, his ability to reflect back to us all, that every single one of us human beings has some aspect of ourselves that we can laugh at. No matter who we are. I find myself unable to breath when Eddie Murphy is on stage. He also sounds like one of the most down-to-earth people when I see him in interviews.
I forget how damn good he is at impressions. A legend.

I can remember back in the day when we had bootleg cassette tapes from comedy clubs that would get passed around. Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy were always the ones that we treasured like gold. You could put one in a boombox and in no time a crowd would gather to all share a laugh. What a great time to grow up in.

I grew up watching & loving Eddie Murphy. The man is beyond talented; comedy, acting, singing, a masterful entertainer. Not many of his kind, but Jamie Foxx comes to mind. His impersonations are on point. Eddie becomes that person. Amazing how he is a human sponge & universal transmitter of talent ! Cheers Mr. Murphy ! Thanks for what you do !
