Habitually.. he's a habitual line stepper 😂😂
"After it was all over, he fed us pancakes".. 😅 What's funny is that this actually happened and prince confirmed it. What a legend lol
So did Eddie he said Prince and his brother could ball like a MFer. Its hard for me to believe that Prince was a B-baller he just doesn't look athletic but apparently he was that dude on the court.
Him looking at the camera in shame and whispering pancakes again made that part even funnier 😂
Mickey Free confirmed this as well.

The only thing more legendary than these skits is the fact that they're true stories.

The unedited Rick James interview and charlie murphy interviews are worth a listen. They're on youtube
I know yall saw the Vlad TV interview where Mickey free confirmed this story...
No embellishment from Charlie.
I went and bought the 1st and 2nd season all over again.
These are facts.
Prince did a interview with Arsenio Hall and Prince said it was true they came to his house played ball, and he did make them pancakes. Prince also said he could make omelets to.

"habitual line stepper" is a part of the lexicon amongst my friends too, and every time we say it we laugh hard af. RIP.
I'm pretty sure they used that line in an episode of Black Lightning too lol
He is definitely one of the greatest!!!
Classic quote that will be uses for years to come
I got to see Charlie Murphy in one of the last performances that he did before he died. He looked terrible, but he was still ridiculously funny. I told my boyfriend at the time that I was concerned that he might be on drugs or something.
Turns out the "or something" was him being very sick-He died shortly after. I think that Charlie knew that his time was short and he wanted to do one last tour before he couldn't do it anymore.
The Prince and Rick James episodes are some of the funniest routines in television history. They show how very talented Murphy was... and how gracious Dave Chappelle was to share the stage with him. Together, they were very, very funny.
That was actually jessi Klein's idea. Dave didn't want it but Jessy convinced Dave to let it happen.
The way he looks dead at the camera after he says assemble your crew is one of the funniest subtle bits of genius ever
Lol just watching it now😂😂😂

@el habahi 80 They might be human But to some people they are heroes. A hero is someone you look up to. A hero doesn't have to be some higher life. they may be human, but they will be remembered.
I love how everything about this is absolutely true! Even when Charlie says “ he took us inside and SERVED us pancakes” because Prince even said “ yeah we had pancakes, I didn’t make them, but yeah, I served them pancakes!” 😂😂
😂😂
This is exactly why Bert kreisher isn't funny. His stories are obviously fake.
When you have Prince money especially in the 80s, are you really going to make your own pancakes?
“ assemble your crew… I’ll be outside “ lol 😂
Without argument, one of the funniest skits in the history of comedy.
