The most mysterious thing about this video is the fact I've "lightly" followed this case since the first season of "The Jinx" aired. And yet because I wanted to binge watch the second season, I've only watched the first episode. Yet watching this video, how did I just now find out Durst has been dead since 2022?
Susan sounds like a bad person.
Of course Durst killed her. He's rich and she was either blackmailing him or about to sell him out.
She was indeed a bad person by all accounts, but most ppl who remained willingly on Durst's life were and are bad ppl. They stayed because he was known to be financially generous to those who stayed loyal aka kept their mouths shut. Watch The Jinx Parts I and II on Max if you can.
And yet again I am sitting here marvelling at the absolute stupidity of RUclips - an actual crime scene photo where regardless of the light blurring of the face of the victim one can still understand that they are looking at a photo of a real person who has been murdered is somehow ok. Yet, the word suicide cannot be pronounced, like the name of a forbidden ancient deity. Why? Because some people might be triggered. I am asking this - if a person is struggling and the mere mentioning of the word 'suicide' is enough to trigger them, don't you think that an ACTUAL photo of somebody who has died a violent death might have somewhat worse consequences? Not to mention why would anybody struggling watch a video about a murder investigation ...
@@liamjones9115 I have seen it imposed on other channels too - they would strenuouosly avoid the words 'rape' and 'suicide', yet vivid descriptions of the murder itself are not concidered a problem.
@@balletshoes You clearly haven't watched much of RUclips. By the way, why are you angry that channels Don't say 'rape' and 'suicide' why is that offensive to you?
@@liamjones9115 it is precisely because I watch enough of RUclips that I can say that those two words are avoided at any cost. I am not angry. But I believe you did not read my initial comment very well as I explain there what I see as a discrepancy, to put it that way. You see, RUclips does have a policy to avoid certain words because of some woke shit mantra. They claim that those words could be triggering to people who have suicidal thoughts. But my question is - isn't it stupid to censor a single word, yet vividly describe the gory details of how somebody was murdered, or worse yet - show pictures of the the crime scene and the body? Say I was raped - RUclips believes that the word 'rape' would trigger me, but I can happily watch materials which describe the act itself, which to me makes no sense at all.

And I find it stupid that according to RUclips people with certain tendencies, and I have to watch my words here, as my answer was deleted, because I mentioned the cult that begins with w, would get triggered by certain words. So in case they stummble upon a video which shows graphic materials, let's censor those words. Do you not see the discrepancy?

Just do a google search, and you see Durst was convicted of killing her because she knew he killed his wife, and she was apparently blackmailing him. There, saved you wasting time watching this video.

True. It was said she got a few million. She could have invested, lived off the money and worked a job, any job to get by. Be a secretary who writes screenplays. Of course we don't know why she didn't - maybe there is a good reason
She blew through the money living the high life, it's actually a pretty common story when children of very wealthy parents think the money is infinite.
You don't even have to be a Robert Durst to know what most likely happened.
but what's the motive?
She probably knew Durst killed his wife.
Bob is absolutely a killer, but I’m not completely convinced he killed Susan. I think it’s possible he was going to visit her & found her body. If he’d admitted to writing that note from the time it was discovered, things may have been different as far as her murder trial. Just my opinion.
Why bleep the word suicide out?? That’s weird
Because otherwise they might get demonitized
