I am only doing walking 10000 steps a day along with 30 min badminton.. Is it ok.. Will it be considered as excessive cardio? I plan to go to gym after 3 months..
If you are trying to lose fat, then it depends on your targeted daily calorie deficit. You should target a moderate daily deficit, maybe 500-700 to lose fat gradually without muscle loss. So if the calories you burn from cardio are putting you into a large calorie deficit then it can be too much cardio. Otherwise if you want to maintain weight then it's fine, just eat enough calories so that you replace all the calories burned by your daily walking and badminton, so that you avoid calorie deficit.
