The AC comes on in "vent". Not sure what you mean by vent. If you are referring the the windshield defrost mode / position, then what you describe is normal, or it used to be. The NHTSA(?) required the hvac units to be designed that way is what they told us at Chrysler tech school.
When I had all my brakes and rotors replced the shop removed the abs line into the hub and greesed my hub bearing assembly through that hole. I read about a guy that did that and has over 300,000 miles on original hubs.
Love the no nonsense review. Deleted my 2016 recently. Completely different truck. Power, torque, and MPG are unreal now. Ill def own another one. I Run T6 5w-40 (thinking about switching to schaeffers), Docs Diesel filters (oil and fuel), Hot shots EDT and extreme every 6 months. Bought it at 108k and am at about 160k now. Have towed a 32' RV a handful of times (7k lbs or so), it does fine.
Must be nice not being in Commiefornia and being subject to bi-annual smog checks. Deleting here is out of the question. Hoping by keeping up on maintenance my '16 will last many years. Just had the HPFP recall done. It has less than 57k on it and I only use it to tow my 6,000 lb boat, so less than 2,000 miles per year usage.
Do you change the fuel filter every 10k, do you have a preferred fuel station? Did you design your own tune after the dealer whipped yours? Do you have a preferred anti-gel additive?
I have a deleted 2015 ecodiesel with less than 60k and today I found metal in my oil catch can. Am I too late? Or is it just going to continue it wasn't a lot and it was settled at the bottom of the can
Hello, Do you loose the warranty when you have the truck deleted? I have a 2018 with a new engine in it and I still have 10 months warranty on the engine.
Hey, just watched your most recent update video but comments are turned off. What tuning file did you end up going with and where did you source it from? I have a GDE tune and am paranoid ill end up in the same situation as you one day and I'm looking for good options.
More but worth it, one prob with these engines is soot in the oil clogging the oil pickup and Amsoil is superior at dissolving carbon to be picked up by the oil filter. ;
Hey if anyone can recommend how and where to get the important upgrades for this truck. I’m buying one shortly and I’m reading a lot on it. The biggest thing is a tune. How can I get one and what else is a healthy add on for this engines health and longevity?
When you did the delete, who did you go to for tuning? I’m assuming you have to have your computer flashed? Thanks. I have 2015 with 62k miles, great so far
This could be the best review I have ever seen. No bs, just honest short and sweet review. Appreciate it.
Deleting was the most important factor in your trucks outstanding success. I have a Jeep GC eco-diesel, and I love it. I'd love to delete it.

217k miles changed my hubs this week + battery this winter. Did the fuel pump this winter too. Deleted stage 1 thinking about 2.

Hey I have a 2016 eco diesel as well what products did you use to do the delete? Also what tune?
I've heard you either have to delete it asap or never. Have you had any issues with deleting after use?

Is the Ams Oil 5W-40 as expensive as the Shell Rotella 5w-40?

Study up on the EGR tube and possible EGR delete. Otherwise you will have an intake full of soot and tar like substance.
So your truck is a full delete? No def system?
Yes

Not running the original pennzoil is why that engine has lasted remanufactured garbage oil
