It'd be kinda cool to see an R rated batman where the story continues but lets say him and hathaways have damien and then have hush or death stroke (i'd prefer killer croc but nolan only does realistic and practical) come around and kill her cause they tracked her down cause someone she robbed hired them to find her and get their stuff back cause mcguffin. We then see the year long build of him training damien(batman has LOA training by the ghoul himself) cause he doesn't want damien to ever be helpless like his now ded wife. It build and builds damien does some impulsive shit that makes hush capture him and use him as leverage against bruce for the finale where damien kills him and we end with his son crossing the line he never would which could give us conflict to fix next movies. Though i'd not want this i do see how they could return with a cool idea but it'd have to be something new and grew with the fans
