The Dutch Chinese restaurants add some more ingredients like ginger and sesame oil for the typical chinese restaurant taste, and some more. I love the RUclips video's from Tijgerkop, she owned a Chinese restaurant in the Netherlands. I think it is worthy to copy her recipes in English.
There are so many different variations!! I'll check out her channel!

Wij deden vroeger in het restaurant altijd een groot blik gepureerde cocktail vruchtjes er door. Je kon de soep ook als saus gebruiken wel iets dikker maken. 😊
