I’ll be honest I’m still getting to grips with the editing stuff, and the sound editing is something I need to focus on next, really appreciate the feedback though, hopefully get these looking and sounding a bit slicker soon 😅 cheers

Maybe once you've got to grips with the sound balance, re-upload it. Or maybe cut out the music altogether. I'd love to watch three generations of Disco on a notorious lane but after seven minutes I'd had enough. Sorry.
@@D4SVX legally it still shows you can go all the way over. How badly is it blocked by the farmer? It's one I've failed on before on motorbike and was planning on going all the way over in 2 weeks, but then heard you saying it was effectively blocked?
@@waynedl99 so when you get to the “top” or as far as you can get it turns into a bog, which is pretty much impassable and beyond that I think it’s all overgrown and too many trees down. Last time we were there we passed a group of bikes that had been up to the bog and back saying there’s no way through even for them. Be interested to hear how you get on when you go up though 👍🏻
@@D4SVX Nice one buddy, if it's a natural blockage rather than a physical one (such as a farmers wall etc), I'll play it by ear and see how we go. There'll be a few of us though, so if we have to manhandle the bikes through a bit, we'll do that just to say we've done it all :D
@@D4SVX We did all of Pig Lane a few weeks back, on the little motorbikes, boggy isn't the word :o Took us hours. The 1st bit to the turn around point though, that's a doddle :)

Fantastic track, and scenery! Ive been driving various Land rovers for over 10 years, yet to test any of them like this, looks great fun but a tad nerve racking! I'm considering a Disco 5 next, and just curious what size wheels are on your friends one, to get those tyres?.... Just noticed you've already answered that question 👍
😂 saved me a tenner in diesel getting up to the top, but I’ve never been one to shy away from a bit of damage 😅 hotseating between a D4 and a D5 on the lanes isn’t a bad way to do it though 👌🏼 thanks 👍🏻🙏🏻😁

My brother got his D4 there we going to Portugal he’s bring that so should be interesting to see how it gets on with 10 days off road lol 😂 I was looking at FL2 but waiting on me mum and dad to get a new car lol 😂 do I can take there’s lol 😆 Will have to come with you guys at some point 😉

Thanks 👍🏻 I’d say overall diameter is less important on this particular lane, the ruts aren’t that high/deep, but having a good all terrain tyre would be my minimum recommendation. Higher profile the better. There’s lots of debris, and tree roots on the sides of the lane that can put you at risk of a puncture, and it’s not the best of tracks to be changing a wheel on. I’d recommend having rock/tree sliders on there too. Other than that just enjoy and take your time on it 👍🏻
@@D4SVX Thanks for the info!. I didn’t know that a D5 could fit a 18” wheel. I have mine (3.0 Diesel HSE 2021) with the BFG KO2 in 275/55R20, but in 18” looks much better! Many thanks for sharing the info and for the great videos you have posted.

Great video! 👏🏼 Which tyre size is using the D5? Any lift or standard height?
It’s on 265/65/18 BFGoodrich KO2 and Paul uses a LLAMS PTY Ltd Electronic lift controller which is variable between -30 and +50 (I think) 👍🏻

Well it’s saved my old bumper a number of times, I don’t tow, and it’s never caused an issue off road.
@@D4SVX ok. good luck. Because tow hitches of any sort can cause major issues, and the recovery efforts can be brutal to say the least.
