Land Rover Freelander 2 • Boulder Lane • North Wales

A trip to Wales last June that lead us to Boulder Lane.
Starting through a light wooded trail leading to open plains with nothing to worry about... apart from the sound of clear coat being removed by the bushes!
The last section living up to its name, technical, loose and rocky. The first test of the Freelander since taking ownership and installing the suspension lift.

Brilliant that, I quite fancy a FL2, but the stories of landrover reliabilty put me off. Although reading up on the FL2 it seems to be actually one of the more reliable cars they have built lol

I own a fl2 , most cars can roll down hills, show us something a little more challenging. In South Africa that would be pebble lane

I want to give it a go at some point I think it would be a good challenge, there is a voluntary one way restraint on the lane at the minute (Down hill) hopefully that gets lifted

What model is it ?
It looks like a Metropolis badge on the back door but I didn’t think the Metropolis came in until 2014
Mine has twin sunroofs , but same wheels and general finish as yours , best finish in a car Iv ever had , it’s pretty much a RangeRover inside
RangeRover leather , full electric heated memory seats , tinted glass the list goes on and on

It's an HSE Lux, with the HSE Lux badge from a Discovery 4, never understood why it didn't have the correct badging from build? The difference between Metropolis and HSE Lux was the carpet mats. They really were the models to have I looked for a while for this one
