I remember coming home to Canada crossing the US border they asked my 9 year old son where he was born. He told them in a hosipital 😂 btw, USA customs agents don't find ANYTHING funny, lol
I'm British my father lived in Canada, we took a trip to the US. My younger bro 14 and ex gf~20 were both sat in the back and wouldn't speak. I thought we were done for as traffickers cause we couldn't answer for them and they wouldn't frixkin speak.

Hi I love the joke about the Brit who went to the Australian embassy to apply for migration to Australia where the immigration officer asked him if he had a police record, and he looked downcast and asked ‘Oh, is THAT still a prerequisite then?’ 😂
There is absolutely nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage. I find it very interesting knowing my past ancestors and their stories. Some people like it and some don’t.
It makes me giggle how Americans pronounce Patrick, the A is much shorter when we say it so when an American says it to my ear it sounds like Paaatrick 😂❤
In my 40s i was admitted to hospital for kidney surgery. They asked me for a contact in case of emergency. The closest relative was thousands of miles away. I was single. So I told them that in case of emergemcy call a doctor, you do have doctors here dont you? Now I understood that they also wanted to know who to call should I die on the table. So I said, if I die, call the police.
There's an episode of Black Book where Bernard says something similar while trying to do his taxes. When it asks "what us your mother's maiden name?" He says "I don't know. I only ever knew her as Mam!! 😂 I may live in the US, but grew up with a Welsh Gran on Da's side & English Gran on me mums. I only really watched BBC & PBS as a kid, so not everyone gets my humor 😂 Cheers for another great video laddies 👍🏻❤️
If your Irish you dont need a visa to enter the United States the United States has a passport agreement with several friendly nations that allow for a passport to be used to enter country and depending on the country you can stay somewhere between 90-120 days without a Visa
When I went to America they gave me a 30 day visa for passing through the airport on my way to somewhere else. To be honest I think 4 weeks would be long enough for me even if I was on holiday in the wilderness.
Visa is normally 1 to 10 months, with a max 6 months stay. But in this skit, it's 21 days. And Irish people don't need visas anyway, plus they get to stay 90d. The only reason he would be applying for a visa is if he needed to stay longer than 90d, or he got flagged under ESTA, indicating a different unfunny problem.
My only problem with the application was : a question asking if I had a “history of deviant behavior “. I had to go ask my daddy what that meant in 1967. The things one needed to know to emigrate to the USA back then were indeed mind expanding 😱
In my youth i did a working holiday in the US. In the 5 months that i was their, i met 3 Americans who claimed to be English, because they each had an English grandparent. I thought that this must be what the Irish have to put up with on a daily basis.
Yep. That's how it is now. Take a flight to Mexico and walk north until someone offers you a loaded bank card, a smart phone, and a place to stay for free. Better hurry up.
It wouldn't make for a funny video but Irish passport holders don't need a visa to enter the US. You just go online to get a Electronic Travel Authorization and you can stay up to 90 days.

Pretty sure he started out calling her 'mammy' when he was a really wee one...

I love the joke about the Brit who went to the Australian embassy to apply for migration to Australia where the immigration officer asked him if he had a police record, and he looked downcast and asked ‘Oh, is THAT still a prerequisite then?’ 😂
Did you know there are more people in the US who say they're Irish than there are in Ireland? Probably all those cousins.
It's like how at one time there were more Polish people in Chicago than any other city in the world--including the capital of Poland..😂
There are more people in New York City!
Their are a lot of people in America who have Irish heritage
@acat6145 no kidding. Like, half of New-england at least. Most of them don't even realize that they are Irish.
