Music is the most amazing Time Machine ever created. When those familiar chords first hit my ears, I am immediately transported back to my youth, the smell in the air, the clatter of my classmates between classes, the football coach yelling at me for a screwup on the field, the sun on my girlfriend's hair. What a gift from the gods.
Three Dog Night 🌙 favorite of 1969-1972 High School, now for a 3rd hit "Joy to the World" 🌎 Peace✌️and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary😊 great reaction 🤣
This was written by the late great Hoyt Axton, who also wrote Joy To The World, which Three Dog night also covered. Hoyt Axton's mother, Mae Boren Axton, co-wrote Heartbreak Hotel, which was made famous by Elvis Presley.
Great song!!! Great vocal band!!! Three Dog Night were inducted in the vocal Hall of Fame!!!! Love this song!!!! Next song you guys react to is "One Man Band!!! " It is FIRE!!!!
Absolutely LOVE you guys! I so enjoy your emotional responses, be it tears, joy, appreciation, etc…even the crazy dislike of “Too Much Heaven”. It’s fun to see honest reactions and your love of music and each other shines through. Just delightful to watch. Thank you :)
Love 3 dog night 🎶🎶💗Reminds me of my Highschool years.I think they were very underrated,to me they oozed talent ..Great reactions.💕Thank you for the memories.✌️
Andrei and Domenika, your personal playlists must be bulging with music from the 1960s through 1980s by now! My grade school music teacher used to teach us all of these great songs and we would have sing alongs with 30 to 40 of us 10 to 12 year olds just belting our hearts out! CCR, Three Dog Night and many others from the radio charts were the staples of our musical lives. What a great time we had! Our music teacher drove a 1967 silver Corvette Stingray with a 396 or 427 Chevrolet Rat big block engine. Just Google that and see what a great car those are, if you don't know. Thanks for the reaction to "Never Been to Spain"! Us old kids just love it!!! 🎸🎸💖💖💖
Mid to late sixties through the late seventies, it could be endless on your musical journey with this genre of music! Keep going, you've only just begun!
Cory Wells on lead vocals here. This song was written by Hoyt Axton who also wrote Joy To The World--which was another big hit for the band. Hoyt Axton did some acting, and he appeared in the 1980s era movie, Gremlins. He played the father.
Corey, chuck and danny. Are the voices. They had a huge run of success in the 70s ,many hits. I think they had only one #1 hit but many top 10 s.....mostly wtiyywn by other people, carol king, hoyt acton paul willuams....etc...
I just love the both of you. Your reactions are so honest and insightful. It just cracked me up to hear Dominika refer to the song as "bad ass". You just don't expect it and that's what makes listening to you react to our music so much fun. This is such a great song!
I got stuck in Needles, California once and it was 104 degrees at night. Country music legend Hoyt Axton wrote this song, as well as the epic Joy to the World. Check out his Boney Fingers, you will smile for sure.
This band was the first concert I ever saw, in 1970 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. I was really young, and now I'm pretty old, and I still enjoy listening to them. During the very productive time in their history when this came out, they certainly did have three great vocalists, but the remaining band were top-tier players. Although now that I think about it, I saw them before this song came out!
This song has a country vibe to it. Written by Hoyt Axton, a country great. Three Dog Night was one of my go toos in high school. So versitile, lots of radio hits.
One of my absolute most FAVORITE songs of all time and maybe the greatest feel good song of all time!… it also happens that this album was the first album I ever bought as a kid before I ever heard of Led Zeppelin or the Allman Brothers, etc.… And I would play this song over and over and over on my new stereo I got for Christmas!
"Old Fashioned Love Song", "Eli's Coming", "Joy To The World", "Black and White", Shambala". Pick one or listen to them all. You can't go wrong with 3DN!
That song was written by the great singer-song writer Hoyt Axton who died way to young. Three Dog Night did great interpretations of composer's work. Try the song OUT IN THE COUNTRY as done by Three Dog Night, my favorite written by Paul Williams, who composed a lot of hit songs.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 FIRE! The great Cory Welles on lead, one of the greatest singers in my opinion. He did lead on Mama told Me which you just reacted. 3 great singers Cory, Chuck Negron and Danny Hutton Many very good songs. Easy to be Hard, Elis Coming, Pieces of April, Black and White , Joy to the World (biggest hit) Cory did a fantastic cover Try a little Tenderness by Otis Redding.
My favorite Three 3 Dog Night ! A 3 dog night is a measurement of how cold an Alaskan night is. So cold that you have to put 3 dogs on the bed not to freeze.
Elvis Presley's version is pretty darn good too...hope you check it out.... Spent some time in Spain when I was in the Navy waaay back in the early 90's. I always have fun watching your reactions.
I as well have never been to Spain or England, but I’ve been to Oklahoma and Arizona, and was born in California, but what does it matter, what does it matter.😊
In the country people judge the cold nights by how many dogs you need in the bed to keep you warm . Hence A THREE DOG NIGHT ,. Cool huh Next time show one of their songs from one of theirmid 70's concerts .
Hey kids me again, your friend in Oklahoma. This was written by Hoyt Axton, a songwriter from Oklahoma. So as I've said many times before, great reaction..❤ to from Oklahoma! 😊
I’d like to recommend a band for you guys. A Canadian rock band called The Tea Party. Whether or not you listen to their songs is up to you, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone react to their music.
Hoyt Axton songs along with the artist that covered his songs would be a great one for a reaction such as The Pusher Steppenwolf and The No No No song Ringo Starr
One of my favorite things about this group is all the vocalists can take the lead equally well.
For me personally, I look at Three Dog Night as one of the better bands in the best decade of rock. They're responsible for some of my favorite songs.
Maybe the best cover band ever
Kings of AM radio, with the carpenters and Abba and Motown... Until you listen to live at the forum and realize they could really bang it out...

Yes! Please ,please, please do a reaction to Three Dog Night....Joy to the World...I would just love to see your reaction to it. It would be awesome!
This was written by the late great Hoyt Axton, who also wrote Joy To The World, which Three Dog night also covered. Hoyt Axton's mother, Mae Boren Axton, co-wrote Heartbreak Hotel, which was made famous by Elvis Presley.
Hoyt was a much overlooked musician.
Della and the Dealer and a Dog Named Jake!
Loved his deep rusty voice.
Love Hoyt 💚🎵🎶
@@baskervillebee6097 and Evangelina
Joy To The World by 3DN is not Christmas tune. ☮🖤🤘
Great song!!! Great vocal band!!! Three Dog Night were inducted in the vocal Hall of Fame!!!! Love this song!!!! Next song you guys react to is "One Man Band!!! " It is FIRE!!!!
74 years old and never get tired of rocking to Three Dog Night .
Me too.
I first noticed them in 6th grade with Joy to the World
Now you know their versatility. I’ve always enjoyed Three Dog Night!
"One", "Out in the Country" keep it goin!!
Three Dog Night was the bomb back in the 70s!
A multi-talented band and a little underated in my opinion.
Song always makes me want to dance I just got over heart attack and cancer and I still dance to the song

Just did! Andrei got all excited 😊 Thanks for sharing. Love and peace from Romania 💚
Another great early 70's band that everyone liked. Had all their albums back then!
Mid to late sixties through the late seventies, it could be endless on your musical journey with this genre of music! Keep going, you've only just begun!

YEA!!!!! MORE THREE DOG NIGHT!!! :) This one has a GREAT VIBE TO IT!! HUGS, YA'LL!!! :) ENJOY!!!
The term "three dog night" originally came from soldiers back in the old days sleeping with a dog for warmth. A 3 dog night was a really cold night.
Saw these guys in the early 70’s. Great fun show. Everybody had a good time.
One of my all time favorite bands. Many hit in first half of the 70's
Corey, chuck and danny. Are the voices. They had a huge run of success in the 70s ,many hits. I think they had only one #1 hit but many top 10 s.....mostly wtiyywn by other people, carol king, hoyt acton paul willuams....etc...
What a great and fun song! Love three dog night, very unique! Great reaction guys
Eli's coming is a BANGER!!!!!!!
I just love the both of you. Your reactions are so honest and insightful. It just cracked me up to hear Dominika refer to the song as "bad ass". You just don't expect it and that's what makes listening to you react to our music so much fun. This is such a great song!

A lot of folks don't know Hoyt also wrote "The Pusher", recorded by Steppenwolf.
I love how this song starts softly, bumps up a little, bumps some more and ends in a funky blues finale. An enjoyable video, thanks. ☮💜🎶
You guys hands down are my favorite ❤ love your reactions.
Thank you so much!! 💚
Three Dog Night, Blood, Sweat and Tears and CCR have top hits!
These guys were the real deal. Thanks for sharing this one! 🙂
This band was the first concert I ever saw, in 1970 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. I was really young, and now I'm pretty old, and I still enjoy listening to them. My husband and I attended one of their concerts 3 years ago at Standing Rock Casino. Their voices are still great, and it was a Great concert!
This song has a country vibe to it. Written by Hoyt Axton, a country great. Three Dog Night was one of my go toos in high school. So versitile, lots of radio hits.
Ah, yes, Three Dog Night. 72 years old and never get tired of the music of my youth. I don't think we quite appreciated what we had.
Amazing 😍 Thank you for sharing your memories with us 💚
"Old Fashioned Love Song", "Eli's Coming", "Joy To The World", "Black and White", Shambala". Pick one or listen to them all. You can't go wrong with 3DN!
This song and Mama told me not to come, was written for them by Hoyt Axton and he is from Oklahoma, and he was in the Movie Gremlins.
Mama Told Me Not To Come was written by Randy Newman. Hoyt did write Joy To The World tho
@@cynergy4 I should have known that, i was a big Randy Newman fan also, thanks for the correction.
@@jewsbad No problem! It sounds just like a Randy Newman song but not with his voice
3 lead singers
Hit next Eli’s Coming or Out On The Country.
3 dog night lot's of hits !
Thanks, love this song ❤
Another Top Ten hit for them ❤
My fave song by them is still Shambhala, it just makes me feel so happy.
You two would have fit right in with us in the ‘70’s
Three Dog Night had a really good run of great songs. Eli's Comin, Easy to Be Hard (from Hair) etc. have fun with them! Kean
❤ Always been my favorite Three Dog Night song, great reaction
I was at 7 different 3 Dog concerts in 70's and 80's. Best shows musically
Great reaction! I really enjoy watching the two of you appreciate the music of my younger years.
Glad you enjoyed it 💚
TDN is one of those groups like CCR that you could put a list of their songs on a dartboard and never be disappointed by the song you hit.
I love to add Blood, Sweat and Tears too.
3DN does nothing but bangers!
Great reaction guys, I can see your really grooving to this classic. They had a lot of great tunes and were a great live band to see.
When I come home from work and see you two, I absolutely forget everything, you are great, thank you for that
Our pleasure! Much love from Romania 💚
BTW Needles is a town on the California Arizona boarder South of Las Vegas.
Great song
As others have noted Three Dog Night has three lead singers.
I love this song! ❤ As a teenager I always turned it up when my dad was home. He was born in Oklahoma so I thought he should enjoy the song, too. 😂
Awesome reaction, I l9ve that song!
One of the greatest groups still not in the R-n-R H.O.F. yet. At least three lead singers all of the time. This is what Rock and roll is all about.
Thank you for recommending this song! I know they will enjoy it! ❤😊
So much 🤩
You need to listen to "Eli's Comin". The live version. Simply amazing.
I see that doggie lounging on the couch 😊
Corey Wells had the most incredible voice 👏
My favorite by them ❤❤❤
Another great song😊
My fave of theirs but they have so many good songs!!
They still tour with Danny Hutton on lead. Catch a show if you can, they sound great and the crowd has a blast!
That song was written by the great singer-song writer Hoyt Axton who died way to young. Three Dog Night did great interpretations of composer's work. Try the song OUT IN THE COUNTRY as done by Three Dog Night, my favorite written by Paul Williams, who composed a lot of hit songs.
If you guys ever do come to the USA I'd love to meet ya! Thanks for another great reaction!
Hopefully one day 💚
Yes!
Love this song !
Three excellent singers in one band. If you like years of joy listen to Black and White by them. 😊
Such a great song, written by Hoyt Axton how also wrote Joy to the World.
🔥🔥🔥🔥 FIRE! The great Cory Welles on lead, one of the greatest singers in my opinion. He did lead on Mama told Me which you just reacted. 3 great singers Cory, Chuck Negron and Danny Hutton Many very good songs. Easy to be Hard, Elis Coming, Pieces of April, Black and White , Joy to the World (biggest hit)
Cory did a fantastic cover Try a little Tenderness by Otis Redding.
Fantabulous
Great song and reaction
A Classic!
My favorite Three 3 Dog Night !
A 3 dog night is a measurement of how cold an Alaskan night is. So cold that you have to put 3 dogs on the bed not to freeze.
You hear the three lead singers.....very rare in rock....maybe the Beatles, Eagles, CSNY, but not the norm.

"Send the messages with the pigeons",,,,😊
Elvis also does a cover of this song live. I believe you guys will love it also.
Needles is a small town in California bordering Arizona.
Love the glasses Domenika.
Thank you 🤓
Hey kids me again, your friend in Oklahoma. This was written by Hoyt Axton, a songwriter from Oklahoma. So as I've said many times before, great reaction..❤ to from Oklahoma! 😊

I read that all of their songs were written for them
Out In The Country by Three Dog Night
One of Hoyt Axton's great songs.

Happy belated birthday 🎉🎂
I’d like to recommend a band for you guys. A Canadian rock band called The Tea Party. Whether or not you listen to their songs is up to you, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone react to their music.
The videos of Three Dog Night are something you should see, try ''The Show Must Go On''
Next on the list from TDN should be Play Something Sweet (Brickyard Blues).
Hoyt Axton songs along with the artist that covered his songs would be a great one for a reaction such as The Pusher Steppenwolf and The No No No song Ringo Starr
If you want to be blown away by them you should check out their version of Otis Redding 's try a little tenderness it's freaking amazing ✌️
Do the live version so you can see Cory Wells singing and getting down! 🕺☮🖤🤘
Another one you might try is 'Pieces of April'
👍👍
I believe they are trying to say it doesn't matter where you're from we're all the same
