My bro! Thank you so much man! I’m off the social media platforms except RUclips so it’s great to see you on here! Hope youre doing well too my man! 🤙🛥️🌊
@perfectfitboating of course bro, showing my support as always brother. Yes I notice your IG just disappeared, but I know it's all for the best!!! I'm working the boat show with Fast Flags. So please stop on by booth 482 in the Marine Equipment Tent and say hello brother 🙏🏻
That fuel-water seperator is awesome. Fuel filtration and purification will always be an issue to inexperienced mariners because it's out of sight. We constantly sirculated fuel throw swimming pool sized filters on thedestroyer I served on in the Navy..
Thank you for your service! 🫡 the gas filter is installed on our boat and it’s been a game changer. Saved me from some bad fuel we got in the keys. Definitely worth the investment! 🛥️🤙🌊
Thanks for watching Dave! I got a couple cool videos coming in the next two weeks. One of which is a custom boat factory tour and the boat show is here! 🤙🛥️🌊
Great info. Glad i found your other channel. Seems we have a lot more in common. Love going to boat shows and stuff to see what i can build myself for less. Lot of this stuff just reminds of the Big Bang show and all you have to do is add bluetooth and ppl will buy it. 😂 Electric motors and salt water, what could go wrong.
The water in fuel and the automatic bilge. Huge innovation for various boats. Anyone who’s ever been far from land knows the importance of engine operation. For the smaller boat guys, not having to worry about water in your boat at the marina, come on that’s a big time and stress reliever.
Electric is the future but not until truly viable power sources mature. Fusion will be a game changer. A toaster size reactor that will power an entire house will eventually come into being. I hope to see it in my lifetime.
@@perfectfitboating The problem with hydrogen is it's extreme volatility. Aka the Hindenburg. Granted technologies come a long way since then, but the safest way to ever produce a hydrogen engine is to perfect hydrogen fuel cells technology where it literally separates the hydrogen immediately pumps it in to the motor. As opposed to storing large quantities
Quite a few people are already living and cruising on solar electric boats. It's just that they tend to be catamarans with the larger roof, and aren't exactly cheap. They also seem more geared towards cruising than the more racing oriented cats.
@@mrblurleighton The key words there are" and sailing ". The reality is storage capacity is nowhere where it needs to be for it to be a feasible, full-time cruising propulsion. It's great if you sail everywhere and you only need it to move into a dock or a marina . But as a primary source of propulsion for travel, it's just not a realistic option. Shouldn't be long though before it gets there
@@oceanairbrushI used the word sail loosely, and shouldn't have in this case. There are no sails. Only solar. Very convenient if you spend most of your time anchored because unlike sails, solar is a huge asset when anchored, not a liability. Especially true because so many boats spend 95% of the time at anchor, only sailing a day or 2 per month. Check out the boat Indigo lady. It's an awesome home on the sea converted by a school teacher/engineer that's fully functional even considering that it's a few years old.
@@perfectfitboating no thank you, you just provide amazing content because you don't bs people. You say what's on your mind and with your knowledge you explain why something is great or horrible and everything in between. That's important to me I only been boating about 2 years
Biggest innovation i have seen is forward facing propellers for outboards and inboard/outboards electronics are still very weak in the boating industry in particular for autonomous systems as are now common in US automotive basically standard now. Ford GM etc spending way too much time in Detroit not Florida absolutely The AI going to amaze a lot of people as well so far still overwhelmingly an automotive thing not a boating thing absolutely 😊😊
Like cars... electric boats are the future.. soon batteries will last longer and be much lighter. Also, solar panels will increase 10 fold. Give it another 5 years.
Don't flush your motors. Not good for them
@@brettisabeth3349 the manufacturers recommend 15 min flush every single time it is put up.
It's really good of you to keep us boaters informed of the latest innovations available. Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you for the continued support brother! I do my best! 🛥️🤙🌊
My brother. Those electric motors are crazy. The water in fuel filter is what I really like. Great video! ❤❤
I reckon we'll see lots of these in 5-10 years time as batteries get better and cheaper.
@@outtolunch88 yeah, I think you are correct.
Thanks bro! That was my favorite part too! 🌊🤙🛥️
Awesome video, very informative as always. Crazy how fast electric technology moved into boats. Hope your doing well brother 🙏🏻🙌🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻

Pretty innovative!
What great content thank you for sharing this. Can’t wait to see what is next with any great projects coming in the future. Cheers 🥂

I agree! I’m curious to see his hydrogen plays out. With Yamahas new hydrogen prototype I’m curious how that will play out. 🛥️🤙🌊

180K to power a 22ft boat a bit much
I think he meant as a package. The whole boat and motor included.

True. We’re about 10 years behind the auto industry when it comes to lithium power.
