@@lilliankeane5731 I agree I have been through something similar where the police was more interested in protecting my attacker then myself as the victim & previously years ago after suffering over 10 years of domestic violence police was very reluctant to help & my life was in danger by that point, my solicitor rang the police asking them to attend my home to make sure I got out safely, they refused saying they didn't get involved in domestic cases, it took my solicitor threatening to hold the police personally responsible for any harm my then hubby did to me to make them attend

@lilliankeane5731 Thankyou yes I'm in a much more peaceful place now though I admit at the time I was very scared, my lawyer was a woman so I don't know if that made a difference because I have noticed the law seems to be biased against women, my lawyer had my name changed by emergency deed poll for my protection & I ended up having to go to a different county leaving myself homeless, it was six months before I finally managed to get work & rent a flat so I was lucky compared to many who end up homeless in similar situations

I know it's not the most tolerant country. I experience more racism, exclusion, discrimination in England than I ever did in the US. I had to literally run from my home due to a hate crime, continued harassment and violence. And now I hear about the experience these three ladies went through, not just with the attacker, who acted like a monkey, but also with the police.

The police let her off with a warning because the actual event almost certainly bore no resemblance whatsoever to the account these women are giving. Almost certainly these women started it but got "two tier policing" in their favor. They outright admitted they're racists by the way they treated the officers.

The abuse wasn't only verbal, these women were also physically attacked and all the person received was a caution. There will always be racist people, though many will never express their prejudice openly, and fortunately we can't yet be prosecuted for thoughts, no matter how vile they might be. But racist crimes, particularly physical assault, should always result in prosecution of the attacker.

One night I was heading home from a night out and I happened to be walking past as this altercation was happening I saw everything that happened and when police arrived I told them what I saw , and as the officer finished taking name number and address another police car came and this police officer walked straight up to me and said he’s got me on body cam footage and I fit the description. In my interview I told them everything I saw and that there where camera on the street to prove what I’m saying. 16 hours later I got brought in front of the Sargent and I was given a apology well actually probably about 5 apology’s before being told no further action. Another time in Brighton a group of people tried to attack me so I rang 999 and whilsts I was on the phone to them I got punched and kicked so I walk in the road and decided to defend myself whilst waiting for police to come and on the phone to the police operator , as soon as police got to me the operator said I can hear them now you can hang up so I did. They got out they told me to wait on the opposite side of the street so they can find out what was going on and then all of a sudden I was being arrested for assault on a group of 6 people 🤣 and that came back as no further action , I can tell you countless of stories about the met police that would shock people.
One of my friends was stitched up by the Police for a crime he didn't commit. They arrested him and accused him of stabbing a man as he was sitting in his car. They had no evidence of his finger prints on the car the man was sitting in or a weapon so my friend was shocked when in court and given a guilty verdict. He ended up spending 18 months in prison before they overturned the verdict.
There is no way this claimed crime would not have been recorded by other people on the train on their phones and the three women. Do you have any phone recordings?

It’s people’s bias that perpetuates institutional racism and it’s present in many elements of society. But what we don’t need is people claiming there’s no racism because they haven’t experienced it. That’s a smack in the face who have experienced racism and it makes feel victimised all over again. We should be listening and empathising with victims and avoid making useless blanket statements like “There is no racism here”. Why would a victim want to be told that what they’re experiencing is not happening? I mean that doesn’t even make sense.

C4 takes a hearsay account, doesn't bother with any due diligence(representation of other side or video/audio footage) then asks a clear racist claiming the antithesis of what data actually shows. A carriage of Justice? There was a case in the US (six months ago) where a pregnant nurse was accused of attacking a gang of young black men (has that ever happened, ever), one woman attacked these 3 WI members, and they were defenceless?

Actually it was a PA, not a nurse and she claimed to be expecting to gain sympathy as she screamed for help while trying to take the bike out of his hands and played victim to get other men around the hospital campus to aid her. At least two or three came over to investigate but then walked away. No one called hospital police, not even the woman! And it was determined that she was in the wrong! The bike she was trying to take was registered the young man credit card and this happened over a year ago, not 6 months. There are follow ups reports on that story if you cared to look.

This is utterly abhorrent, disgusting and shameful. There will always be differences between white and black or ethnic minorities but that doesn’t mean it gives anyone carte Blanche to behave in such a despicable manner. It is somewhat disheartening that an off-duty police officer didn’t intervene at an earlier stage. I’m not suggesting that officer should be reprimanded as without their testimony and account of the events it’s difficult to know what their perception of the events were. Instead of cohesion, understanding and finding common grounds there will sadly be myopic people who will never change and that frustratingly also applies to the Police and the UK justice system.

Police can put themselves on duty at anytime it’s necessary. But they don’t have too. Young cops often do, older cops are just trying not to get involved.

Whether I got involved would have depended on what I needed to be doing, whether I had been drinking, etc. I did get involved in some things off duty, but it was usually better to just witness and then write up a statement later, or submit some intel. The fact this turned violent I’m guessing means the cop felt he had to intervene. The main point is the service made a proper hash of the investigation.

You trust until your experience tells you otherwise. What was she supposed to do? The police are authorised to deal with the situation - woe betide you if you take the law into your own hands. Unfortunately the police are just as sensitive and easily 'hurt' as all the other woke groups. They are mostly young, and relatively inexperienced in life, having been sheltered from the realities for too long. They cannot see any other perspective than that you are attacking them, even when you are not. Trying to explain things that you expect them to understand leaves you on a hiding to nothing. The others on the train are the ones who needed to stand up and be counted in order to counter the bullies and racists, and protect these women. Shame on them for not doing so.

On the other day: i was in a shopping area in the South East, there were bunch of police officers smiling in a friendly way as i crossed the station with my children to the market area, on the contrary: a police officer passing me from the opposite side used a racial word as he passed me ( and I'm a dark Middle Eastern, not black by the way) yet the mentality of racism doesn't exclude anyone, and some of these police officers themselves belong to far right parties, that's how the Nazis get protected when you complain about them.
This is not an isolated case am afraid ,it’s happening everywhere!The culprits acting like victims to a point where they are producing crocodile tears and turning the blame around to the actual victims!Disgusting!

Maybe if she’d just stuck to the facts instead of having a go at him about his skin colour and his “white privilege” then the outcome would’ve been different? Failed GCSE English.
One night I was heading home from a night out and I happened to be walking past as this altercation was happening I saw everything that happened and when police arrived I told them what I saw , and as the officer finished taking name number and address another police car came and this police officer walked straight up to me and said he’s got me on body cam footage and I fit the description. In my interview I told them everything I saw and that there where camera on the street to prove what I’m saying. 16 hours later I got brought in front of the Sargent and I was given a apology well actually probably about 5 apology’s before being told no further action. Another time in Brighton a group of people tried to attack me so I rang 999 and whilsts I was on the phone to them I got punched and kicked so I walk in the road and decided to defend myself whilst waiting for police to come and on the phone to the police operator , as soon as police got to me the operator said I can hear them now you can hang up so I did. They got out they told me to wait on the opposite side of the street so they can find out what was going on and then all of a sudden I was being arrested for assault on a group of 6 people 🤣 and that came back as no further action , I can tell you countless of stories about the met police that would shock people.
One of my friends was stitched up by the Police for a crime he didn't commit. They arrested him and accused him of stabbing a man as he was sitting in his car. They had no evidence of his finger prints on the car the man was sitting in or a weapon so my friend was shocked when in court and given a guilty verdict. He ended up spending 18 months in prison before they overturned the verdict.

A carriage of Justice? There was a case in the US (six months ago) where a pregnant nurse was accused of attacking a gang of young black men (has that ever happened, ever), one woman attacked these 3 WI members, and they were defenceless?
In the US the pregnant black woman sitting down was accused of attacking two tall and large wyt cops with guns, she was killed.

At least two or three came over to investigate but then walked away. No one called hospital police, not even the woman! And it was determined that she was in the wrong! The bike she was trying to take was registered the young man credit card and this happened over a year ago, not 6 months. There are follow ups reports on that story if you cared to look.

There will always be differences between white and black or ethnic minorities but that doesn’t mean it gives anyone carte Blanche to behave in such a despicable manner. It is somewhat disheartening that an off-duty police officer didn’t intervene at an earlier stage. I’m not suggesting that officer should be reprimanded as without their testimony and account of the events it’s difficult to know what their perception of the events were. Instead of cohesion, understanding and finding common grounds there will sadly be myopic people who will never change and that frustratingly also applies to the Police and the UK justice system.

Police can put themselves on duty at anytime it’s necessary. But they don’t have too. Young cops often do, older cops are just trying not to get involved.

Whether I got involved would have depended on what I needed to be doing, whether I had been drinking, etc. I did get involved in some things off duty, but it was usually better to just witness and then write up a statement later, or submit some intel. The fact this turned violent I’m guessing means the cop felt he had to intervene.
The main point is the service made a proper hash of the investigation.

You trust until your experience tells you otherwise. What was she supposed to do? The police are authorised to deal with the situation - woe betide you if you take the law into your own hands.
Unfortunately the police are just as sensitive and easily 'hurt' as all the other woke groups. They are mostly young, and relatively inexperienced in life, having been sheltered from the realities for too long. They cannot see any other perspective than that you are attacking them, even when you are not. Trying to explain things that you expect them to understand leaves you on a hiding to nothing.
The others on the train are the ones who needed to stand up and be counted in order to counter the bullies and racists, and protect these women. Shame on them for not doing so.
That's the thing: there are good police officers but there are bad ones too. On the other day: i was in a shopping area in the South East, there were bunch of police officers smiling in a friendly way as i crossed the station with my children to the market area, on the contrary: a police officer passing me from the opposite side used a racial word as he passed me ( and I'm a dark Middle Eastern, not black by the way) yet the mentality of racism doesn't exclude anyone, and some of these police officers themselves belong to far right parties, that's how the Nazis get protected when you complain about them.
