The most painful thing is, most of these officers that policing these cities don't even live in the cities in which they are policing, they live like 10,15,20,30 miles away, so they don't give fuck about the people in these inner cities. Minneapolis, Minnesota for example 86 percent of the police in that city do live in Minneapolis, go figure.
You have police supervisors who are giving their junior officers special instruction to target a certain group of people.

Thank you Ms Cariol Horne, cops jobs are hard but you are not the judge and jury, you bring the criminal in not choke punch while hand cuffed . Glad to see Ms Cariol case turn out right for her.

It doesn't matter to me, the colour of the person in custody. If an officer is being brutal, or excessively brutal to someone in custody and in this case, handcuffs, they should be punished and fired immediately! The fact that the victim is black just shows that which is prevalent. I'm glad for this final outcome.

Cariol Horne is a light-bearer, her suffering from standing up against unjust treatment speaks volume of more unjust treatment for those of us in similar situations. Retaliation is a reality we activists must speak up against and unite to correct for the sake of future generations of activists.

This woman needs the pension of the Chief Of Police or equivalent executive position since she would clearly have been promoted to such a position in a responsible police force.
Imagine the probable damage her dismissal has caused to her and her children with the loss of income and related opportunities for her and her children, never mind the damage from retaining a felon behind a badge. Sad.

The police unions and the Blue code of conduct within the rank and file of policing across America is the problem. I will never understand. If one is doing anything (job) righteously in the walk of life. Why do you need to have a certain code (especially if a fellow member knows how you are behaving)( it is the oxymoron of being a snitch on the streets) of conduct in any particular profession to help absolve one of wrongdoing.. Some will say i am being overly simplistic. But time and again, video is showing this is not a once and a while occurrence. So look at the many times before which these same types of officers were doing these actions( Chicago, Fred Hampton, Bill Burge and the secret police command) and getting away with those actions. However, a union is there to protect your rights (if you did it justifiably). Not to circumvent the rights you were sworn to protect of the public. To hide behind unions when one is doing unrighteous acts is a form of cowardice on both ends(union and the officer). And many of the ones who are on the streets are just that, cowards. One should not be in a job, just for the money and pension. A police officer is tantamount to a teacher. You are bringing a service to the community for a betterment. Not to evoke fear. So when one stands up for righteousness and then is fired and disgraced for doing a righteous act. This speaks volumes about where we still are and how nothing has changed.

She is what every cop should be.
This is a good example of how police department around America treat good cops who do the right thing.
Punish them yet support and back up the bad cops.
