I just have to say, I enjoy these videos. I'm your typical male athlete. Run, weightlifting, stretching, and eating right. I've been doing this for months now to get into shape. I thought it would be a good idea to add some yoga into my routine. I always heard yoga is harder than it looks. I can now confirm this for myself! I love yoga now. I do it everyday. Thanks for the videos!

I'm 32, I used to stay in great shape in my early twenties. Wasn't too smart with my joint protection on exercises and during football in high school, later on with boxing conditioning in college. Did suspended crunches holding a 45 lb plate frequently. Didn't start feeling much pain until I was about 28 while filling orders in a coke warehouse. Finally hit me that I wasn't invincible. This video changed everything. Thank you for putting it out there. Doctor was pushing pain pills on me so I knew I had to do something. I've seen what those do to a person's soul when my dad went through hospice. They drain you almost as much as the ailment in some cases.. Dreadful stuff. You saved me a lot of nonsense. I've already suggested you to my military buddies. You're a good man.

My problem with most of these “beginning yoga” videos, is that the person teaching it is extremely proficient and does not seem to realize that a lot of people do not have anywhere near the same degree of skill and flexibility.. That was the whole point of taking up yoga. Please address the sizable audience that wishes to benefit from yoga but must start up much more gradually. Give specific advice on how to work your way up to better form from a much simpler exercise.

there certainly are better teachers for beginners, the first video that pops up if you look up yoga beginner routine, the one from yoga with adrienne, is amazing for beginners, this guy removes a lot of steps from complicated poses, because he doesn't realize how unflexible beginners are, i am usually regarded as flexible, can put my feet above my head and stuff, but yoga is still a struggle for me, because it has a lot of balance involved in it, this adrienne lady uses a lot of "energy talk" which i find unnecessary, but it's not distracting and surprisingly easy to follow, i found myself doing difficult poses (for me) effortlessly, because of the added steps.

After being tight for so many yrs it was a whole new feeling - I pursued yoga extensively for 4 yrs extensively. Always thought it should be taught to kids from grade school on up and especially to athletes.
I’m 70yrs old and started up doing yoga seriously again. Definitely lost flexibility especially in backbends But can’t let that stop you. Just need to keep chipping away at the weaknesses. Definitely don’t want to go into my 70s & 80’s not being able to move !!!! Fuk that !!! LOL !!

Hello Sir!! I know you Posted this Video in February 2015, but I just found it, about a week ago.
I'm 55 years old, trying to get myself back into shape (I waited too long), so I'm working at doing this first Video; man, is it hard!! It started six Months ago, when my "Blood-Numbers" were in the Diabetic range; so by loosing 56 lbs., going from 248 down to 194, my Numbers are now good and out of Diabetic range; my goal is 175 lbs. So now I'm at the stage of toning my flabby body. About one month ago, I pulled my right calf muscle, while doing the jump rope (I'm not as young, as I thought I was). My wife said I need to start doing some stretching, before I workout. Hence, that is what brought me to your Video.
I'm writing all of this, to tell you, how much I appreciate you Posting this Video!! It's hard... I feel worn out after just this 10 Minute Video, but each day is getting better. You make a difference in Peoples Lives, so I just wanted to let you know, and say THANK YOU!!! GOD Bless!!!!!
