How to travel without worrying about the weight gain!!

  • Maintaining a healthy lifestyle while traveling can be a challenge, but it’s not impossible. Here are some tips to help you travel without worrying about weight gain:👇🏻
    1️⃣ PREPARE
    Research the areas where you are going to stay . Restaurants, convenience stores, where you plan to go sight- seeing etc. Coming prepared is helpful to make better choices. Choose to stay in places with kitchens/ kitchenettes as you can prepare some of your own meals/ snacks or atleast breakfast. On my recent 21 day Europe trip we had breakfast at home everyday.
    2️⃣ PACKING
    Before any travel, buy essential items to snack on: nuts, seeds, protein bars, energy bars, dried fruit, fruit, whole-grain crackers etc. This is helpful for busy travel days and to incorporate in between meals. Pack Healthy Snacks can be a great way to avoid the temptation of unhealthy options while on the go.
    3️⃣ PRIORITIZE
    Make your health a priority! Focus on your sleep, focus on movement, and be aware of what you are putting on your plate. Stay Active and make sure you take advantage of opportunities to move your body while traveling. Whether it’s sightseeing on foot, hiking, biking, swimming, or doing a yoga class, incorporating physical activity into your travel plans can help you burn calories and maintain a healthy weight.Lack of sleep can lead to increased hunger and overeating. Try to get enough sleep each night to help regulate your appetite and maintain a healthy weight.
