Honestly, I've been waking up early, meditating, running, cold showering, staying positive and jotting down my goals since few months and all this started because I wanted to improve my performance in football! and now I'm watching this video trust me, your life will change to the BEST way possible. This routine is absolutely 100% the best. No lies my game skills have improved a lot because of this and certainly, my life overall has taken a positive turn. yes it is, I am working towards this from January but there was almost no difference till July. But from August I have noticed a big difference, a happy routine. It takes time, it takes experiment and it will make you disciplined automatically when you find the right set of rules that define your working and living style.

Most of these routine I am practising for 10 months now. It really works. I am more productive employee that I never thought I can be. I want to share what other things I have done to become a better person, I lessen of using social media, blocked and unfriend toxic people, I set a time to sleep, let go of friends who are bad imfluence, stock healthy food at home at start cooking. came to work early and always remind myself to work smart and be good to others.

Tbh waking up early in the morning don't trouble me at all. Alhamdulilah I started praying regularly at the age of 11 and now it's a habit to wake up exactly at 5 so that I can pray my namaz and with this I get my perfect meditation too. Don't even need to exercise and it only takes 5 mins. After that just 10 mins morning walk and all set to kitchen to make breakfast for my parents and siblings.

I'm so sorry but going to sleep at 10 and waking up at 4:30 is 6 hours and 30 minutes. Any less than 7 hours is usually considered unhealthy and 8 hours is recommend to be the most productive.

Nurses and doctors can't commit to this I'm a nurse and I take night shifts and day shifts in different days of the same week and they are 12h shifts and I basically take no weekends..
My mom is an LPN. For her there us no such thing as a set schedule. Nurses and doctor's can work 9 to 5 hours. People will sometimes need roumd the clock care.

@@mywish4668 First there's difference between concentration and meditation. In concentration we fix our attention on one thing. Set a timer for 20 minutes. Take up any object (breath, heartbeat, space between eyebrows, mantra, contact between your body and surface) fix your attention on it. After a while you'll notice that your attention is not fixed and that's okay. When the attention is exhausted you will feel a deep relaxation. Your mind will reboot. Anything that was bothering you before meditation will lose it's strength. Sometimes you will feel that there's energy rising from the bottom of spine. The energy is like the energy you feel after urinating. It's funny but it happens.

My morning routine is to wake up at six am, then bible reading, meditation or yoga, workout, clean my room, take a bath, cook for my breakfast then at exactly eight am, study( im a student). This really help me to feel confident and productive for my self . I was too an owl person but I change my method. I always alarm my phone at 12 pm for me to sleep then wake up at six am.. A student need at least 6 hrs to sleep and not lesser than that. Promise if u sleep lesser than that u will feel tired all day..

Except the part were it says exercising, the to feel list, but the rest, it's shockingly similar to my morning routine. And I used to be a night owl too: instead of getting up at 4am, it was my bed time. But when that habit made me lose something very important to me, I decided to change the pattern. The whole idea is to give your mind and body enough time to plan all the things before you begin your day. So if you're day begins at 11am because you have to start work at 3pm then make sure you do all those things that he did in the morning.
The best morning for me starts with a beautiful piano music. I can not listen to energetic music when I wake up in the morning. And then, walking is the 2-nd activity that makes me feel good and alive. I do love the scent of fresh air in the early morning which you can't usually smell it in another period of the day. The video makes habit formation sounds so easy. I honestly recommended starting out one habit at a time. If you start out everything you planned at the same time, you will fall back very easily because they all are difficult. Give yourself twenty days or so for the first habit and then add the new one. It takes about a month to form a habit. Once it become a habit, the action becomes automatic, requires less mental effort to keep it going. So when you add it the next habit, it will be easier for you to keep going.
Immediately after I wake up I jump 10 times. This helps me wake up even if I had a bad sleep. Plus stimulates my blood and it almost works as good as a morning cold shower!

Before the pandemic hit I was "thankful" for everything. I have been at my current job for 13+ years. The moment I quit being thankful is when discontent started. When I adopted being thankful again then things went great. I make it my routine to say, "today is going to be a great day" and add some positive affirmations to it and it becomes so. Start the day with a passage of scripture and it too helps. I recently purchased Ka'chava because I don't get enough fruits and vegetables daily and it too keeps me going. I don't watch anything that would bring me down. Turn off the television.
I've started doing 1 habit change everyday since now 22 days now stacking up. Some of the habits: prepare vegetables portion for the week, prepare water glass for next morning, doing dishe every evening, relaxing streching+meditation before going to bed. Going to sleep before 10am, cardio(biking, running, hiking) or workout 6 days/week, no coffe(replace with water or the), no alcool(1 cheatday allowed/week), wim hof breathing technique, listening to audiobook in my car while going to work(about subjects to improve myself, for example about habits like the audiobook ''atomic habits''), some internal exercises(pelvic, transverse, diaphragme, psoas, verterbral columns, etc), going outdoor for at least 1 hour/day, setting up a timer while working every 15 minutes to remind me to breath corectly and lower my stress, adding more streching exercices in the morning after wim hof method, lowering my morning alarm clock for 5 minutes everyday until 5h30(currently getting up at 6h10). Every day i write again all stacked habits of the past days+the new daily habit in a little journal and check them during the day has i do them so i keep seeing the habits list. So far in only 22 days it's been a pretty awesome adventure. My heatlh is getting more and more great(even my skin has never been so nice), i'm getting much more confident and overall happy. i'm not 100% strict, must be flexible in the weekends but overall maintaining the focus. Hope my comment helps some ppl, i guess my new routine of staking new habits/changes can be done less extreme and with tiny easy habits and also less frequent adds(like 1 every week or month instead of everyday like i'm doing right now), just adjust so it you have fun with it and in a way that it's easy. (for example, you can start doing only 1 minute of meditation not 30 when you start, or if you want to start to workout you can start only putting workout clothes at first)
It’s so hard to have a routine when you do night shifts. Like my brain just decides to wake up randomly, wether it’s 4 hours into sleeping or 8 hours. Gonna have to switch to a morning job soon.

Don't know how you are holding up, but if you are only trying to be a better person ; you will most likely fail. Rather if you set a personal goal , career or health goal maybe, then work hard towards it and follow whatever is said in the video while trying to achieve it, then it would be more meaningful. Tbh waking up early in the morning don't trouble me at all. Alhamdulilah I started praying regularly at the age of 11 and now it's a habit to wake up exactly at 5 so that I can pray my namaz and with this I get my perfect meditation too. Don't even need to exercise and it only takes 5 mins. After that just 10 mins morning walk and all set to kitchen to make breakfast for my parents and siblings.

I'm so sorry but going to sleep at 10 and waking up at 4:30 is 6 hours and 30 minutes. Any less than 7 hours is usually considered unhealthy and 8 hours is recommend to be the most productive.

Nurses and doctors can't commit to this I'm a nurse and I take night shifts and day shifts in different days of the same week and they are 12h shifts and I basically take no weekends..
My mom is an LPN. For her there us no such thing as a set schedule. Nurses and doctor's can work 9 to 5 hours. People will sometimes need roumd the clock care.

@@mywish4668 First there's difference between concentration and meditation. In concentration we fix our attention on one thing. Set a timer for 20 minutes. Take up any object (breath, heartbeat, space between eyebrows, mantra, contact between your body and surface) fix your attention on it. After a while you'll notice that your attention is not fixed and that's okay. When the attention is exhausted you will feel a deep relaxation. Your mind will reboot. Anything that was bothering you before meditation will lose it's strength. Sometimes you will feel that there's energy rising from the bottom of spine. The energy is like the energy you feel after urinating. It's funny but it happens.

My morning routine is to wake up at six am, then bible reading, meditation or yoga, workout, clean my room, take a bath, cook for my breakfast then at exactly eight am, study( im a student).
This really help me to feel confident and productive for my self .
I was too an owl person but I change my method.
I always alarm my phone at 12 pm for me to sleep then wake up at six am.. A student need at least 6 hrs to sleep and not lesser than that. Promise if u sleep lesser than that u will feel tired all day..

Except the part were it says exercising, the to feel list, but the rest, it's shockingly similar to my morning routine. And I used to be a night owl too: instead of getting up at 4am, it was my bed time. But when that habit made me lose something very important to me, I decided to change the pattern. I'm pretty sure this adresses to the people with normal jobs. I used to work shifts and couldn't do it either, but now I work normally and those tips are really helpful!
The whole idea is to give your mind and body enough time to plan all the things before you begin your day. So if you're day begins at 11am because you have to start work at 3pm then make sure you do all those things that he did in the morning.

The best morning for me starts with a beautiful piano music. I can not listen to energetic music when I wake up in the morning. And then, walking is the 2-nd activity that makes me feel good and alive. I do love the scent of fresh air in the early morning which you can't usually smell it in another period of the day. The video makes habit formation sounds so easy. I honestly recommended starting out one habit at a time. If you start out everything you planned at the same time, you will fall back very easily because they all are difficult. Give yourself twenty days or so for the first habit and then add the new one. It takes about a month to form a habit. Once it become a habit, the action becomes automatic, requires less mental effort to keep it going. So when you add it the next habit, it will be easier for you to keep going.

sleep. Plus stimulates my blood and it almost works as good as a morning cold shower!

Before the pandemic hit I was "thankful" for everything. I have been at my current job for 13+ years. The moment I quit being thankful is when discontent started. When I adopted being thankful again then things went great. I make it my routine to say, "today is going to be a great day" and add some positive affirmations to it and it becomes so. Start the day with a passage of scripture and it too helps. I recently purchased Ka'chava because I don't get enough fruits and vegetables daily and it too keeps me going. I don't watch anything that would bring me down. Turn off the television.
I've started doing 1 habit change everyday since now 22 days now stacking up. Some of the habits: prepare vegetables portion for the week, prepare water glass for next morning, doing dishe every evening, relaxing streching+meditation before going to bed. Going to sleep before 10am, cardio(biking, running, hiking) or workout 6 days/week, no coffe(replace with water or the), no alcool(1 cheatday allowed/week), wim hof breathing technique, listening to audiobook in my car while going to work(about subjects to improve myself, for example about habits like the audiobook ''atomic habits''), some internal exercises(pelvic, transverse, diaphragme, psoas, verterbral columns, etc), going outdoor for at least 1 hour/day, setting up a timer while working every 15 minutes to remind me to breath corectly and lower my stress, adding more streching exercices in the morning after wim hof method, lowering my morning alarm clock for 5 minutes everyday until 5h30(currently getting up at 6h10).
Every day i write again all stacked habits of the past days+the new daily habit in a little journal and check them during the day has i do them so i keep seeing the habits list. So far in only 22 days it's been a pretty awesome adventure. My heatlh is getting more and more great(even my skin has never been so nice), i'm getting much more confident and overall happy. i'm not 100% strict, must be flexible in the weekends but overall maintaining the focus.
Hope my comment helps some ppl, i guess my new routine of staking new habits/changes can be done less extreme and with tiny easy habits and also less frequent adds(like 1 every week or month instead of everyday like i'm doing right now), just adjust so it you have fun with it and in a way that it's easy. (for example, you can start doing only 1 minute of meditation not 30 when you start, or if you want to start to workout you can start only putting workout clothes at first)
It’s so hard to have a routine when you do night shifts. Like my brain just decides to wake up randomly, wether it’s 4 hours into sleeping or 8 hours. Gonna have to switch to a morning job soon.

I will start this routine tomorrow. Maybe Monday next week? lol Thank you for sharing, waking up early and meditating for 10 min is great idea. Having a healthy mix of fruits and veggies followed by exercise and a quick shower. Keeping a journal and to-do list helps you get organized. Thanks again.
