    I grew up right down the block from Wadleigh in the 1950’s. So interesting to know the energy of so many gifted and talented people came from Harlem. Thank you. ❤

    Very nice presentation, sis 💖 Good voice quality throughout. I love how you present information without alluding to character misrepresentation of your subjects. One thing l would like to add is your critique of these classic “race” films should draw a wider audience appeal. So many young (and older) folks seem unaware of the long standing creativity and legendary talents of Black Americans. 🎉

    These were just stunning. I love hearing stories of extraordinary women. I can’t even imagine the challenges they fought through to live their dreams of becoming an entertainer in the early 1900s.
