I can't imagine how terrifying it would be to hear "There's a 95% chance you have cancer. Also we have no openings for three months." I'm so glad you found excellent care and got through all this!
Not nearly as bad as cancer news, but my mom also once was left hanging by the (in our case German) health care providers. She complained about way too high blood pressure all day and night for days and for some reason the appointment she got „wasn’t put in the system“ so she was sent home and was told „we can give you an appointment in 3 weeks“. Knowing what problems abnormal blood pressure can cause, it sounded scary af that she was supposed to be left waiting for 3 more weeks without a doctor seeing her even once.
To be fair though, if I HAD to get cancer, I'd want to get thyroid cancer. It's the least deadliest if I recall correctly and you can live without part of it or even without a thyroid at all thanks to medication.
But yeah, the part about "we think you have cancer, but we can't get you a biopsy until three months from now" sounds insane.
@@user-om5tv5fd9s yes but it’s ‘free’ healthcare, why would you complain
@@CarinaCoffee it’s only least deadly if they catch it early and it doesn’t spread to other areas though, so that three month wait time is absolutely crazy.
@@LucielStarz123 yes and god forbid I would not give it up for anything. Generally I don’t have a lot of problems with it either. Since usually even in full family doctors offices it’s possible to get an appointment when it’s an acute issue. That’s why one may have to wait little while in the waiting room but generally it’s all reasonable. But it is really unusual for a clinic to turn away a patient who complains about immensely high blood pressure. If it were back pain sure. But I have so far always got an appointment the same or next day simply for having a cold. When I came into the office for nausea and vomiting they put me first just in case. An appointment in three weeks for abnormal blood pressure sounds very unusual and of course my mother called a different doctors office to get an appointment as soon as possible, which worked out perfectly fine.
The naked part had me burst out laughing!
Thanks for sharing your story and educating us more on thyroid issues, it’s such a common thing (especially with women our age as I learned from you) ❤️ so happy that everything turned out as good as possible and big thanks to your sis! Love you and rest well 🥰

So this kinda saved my life. I've never thought about my thyroid let alone it having cancer. Well turns out I do have Papillary Thyroid Cancer and I never would have thought to check my neck for lumps if I didn't see this. Luckily my doctors moved fast and I'm getting surgery next week!
Oh my gosh I’m so glad they found it. Best of luck with your surgery!! That’s great it can be done so quickly! 🙏🏻💞
I’ll send prayers your way and hope you’ll be ok! Love from a fellow human being wishing you the best ❤️
Hope the Surgery went well and you recovered fully.
I hope your surgery went well
Hope you're OK!
This might make a few people upset, but it needs to be said. I hear all this crap about how socialized medical care is so great and that there is no wait time for procedures. Sharmeleon is told by a Japanese doctor he is 95% sure she has cancer but cant see her for 3 to 4 months (socialized medical care). She calls back home to Canada and is told the same time for waiting (socialized medical care). Then she calls the USA and they take care of her as soon as possible. There is no way I can imagine sitting around for 3 to 4 months to get treatment. I'm so glad that Sharmeleon was able to get help and everything turned out ok. Very brave to share her story with us! Little side note, I moved from the US to Japan almost 1 year ago. If this was my daughter I would be on the 1st plane back home to the states!
Dude if just hearing about this had me stressed out I can’t imagine how it was going through it, still so glad you’re okay!

I don't know why you popped up here but I'm glad you did! I am a 75 year old grandmother in South Africa 🇿🇦 and I thought I'd share my thyroid experience with you briefly. I was getting a breast lump checked out when I was 42, and the surgeon surprised me by asking how long I'd had the swelling in my neck! Like you, I'd never noticed it, but my voice was a bit croaky. Long story short, lump removed, vertical scar, tumor benign, been on thyroid medication ever since! You're a brave girl, and I enjoyed this video. Namaste 🙏🏼 from South Africa 🇿🇦 💜
Kinda sucks how you still need to take medication even after it's done but I'm glad your okay now ☺
@@blank-kd4qr once you have your thyroid removed you have to take replacement thyroid hormone for life because you don’t have a thyroid to make it for you any more
@@blank-kd4qr as Diana already mentioned. It's mainly the hormone produced by the thyroid you have to take. If you don't, it can lead to hair falling out and lack of energy. It's not like you have to take medicine with some weird sideeffects, but morelikely the other way around.
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer when I was 33. I was in college studying to do ultrasound and another student found it when practicing on me. I was asymptomatic so it was a total fluke that they found it. I’m sorry you had to go through that. It took me ages to get my voice back after my surgery so it’s totally understandable that you needed a break from vloggging.
Can I ask how much thyroid hormone you’re on? I have hashimotos and I want to get mine removed. It’s ballooned in size I’ve already had it biopsied too.
Sharla, my wife had her thyroid removed almost 2 years ago for the same reason, although her tumor was cancerous (she was completely fine afterwards). She takes a special medication to make up for the lack of a thyroid and although she gets tired from to time, she has a regular, active life. Even if you need to take hormone supplements, you'll be fine. Take good care of yourself and enjoy the time with your family!
So glad your wife is ok! Thank you so much for sharing🙏🏻❤️
I feel like this video is a sign. I've been putting off going to the doctors even though I'm having the same symptoms as you and this encouraged me to call and schedule an exam so even if you never see this comment you have helped someone out here by posting this video Sharla and thank you and I'm so happy everything from the surgery to being cancer free worked out for you ☺
Hope everything goes smoothly for you, let me know if you have any more questions💪🏻❤️
Definitely do it, even if it is the big C, it's very curable but only if you catch it as soon as possible :)
Hope everything goes well!
Best of luck and I hope all is great for you. Just don't go to a Japanese doctor. Apparently they like shocking people and making them feel stupid.
Please do see the doctor, braveleigh! We see a bunch of benign thyroid enlargements - but should it be one of the malignant; treatment is easier and gentler if found sooner!
My mum had thyroid cancer. And the doctor scared her shitless when she said that she had low chances of dealing with it. She fought through, and though she takes pills and stuff for almost ten years now, it's all been relatively well since then.
You have the right spirit in you, Sharla :) Get well, and I'm glad that the tumor was not cancerous.
I owe you for this video. I remember watching it when it came out, and flash forward to very early 2023 and I noticed a bump on my neck. It’s still very small and the doctor was surprised I caught it when I did, so it should be an easy surgery. I might not have thought to get this looked at so fast if not for you. ❤
Wish you the best of luck with surgery and a smooth recovery❤️ I’m so glad you caught it quickly.
I burst into tears when you said it wasn’t cancer. I had breast cancer at 26 and I can sympathize with the fear and uncertainty you must have gone through. So happy you’re ok, stay healthy and well Sharla ❤️❤️
Blessings to you!!!!!!
IMPORTANT POINT: I had three general anasthetic surgeries in my mid-20s and I learned (sometimes painfully) that when you think you're 100% recovered, you're not. Add at least another month and get back into things really, really slowly.
Thank you for the tip. I’m also about to have surgery so I will definitely keep this in mind.
My wife and I just went through a really scary couple of months. Not long after our wedding in April we found out that she had cervical cancer. Thankfully they caught it very early and we've had the best possible outcome from that. My wife had a hysterectomy in September and the cancer was completely removed, no spread to the lymph nodes or anything. But oh boy that was a scary few months for both of us. I'll never forget when we both found out the surgery was a success and she was cancer free, I burst into tears and hugged her so tight. I'm so glad you're situation turned out to be benign and you can go back to Sendai and get on with your life!
Wishing for a speedy recovery Sharla. Glad to hear the tumor was non-cancerous. 早く良くなっていままでどうりに日本の旅を続けられると願ってます

Glad to hear you’re fine.
I can’t imagine how it feels when a Dr. abroad tell you that “it’s 95% cancer and he doesn’t have time to help you”
That was the worst part for me, what a helpless feeling.
It’s good that you found out in a way that wasn’t life-threatening! Sometimes it takes something out of the ordinary to draw our attention to something that’s been there for awhile, and I’m glad it was that way with you.
Im so glad things worked out… couldn’t imagine the stress. What a great video for others that may be going through the same thing.
After the birth of my third child, I had gone to see my gynecologist and he said, " How long have you had this lump in your neck?" And I was like, " What lump?" I had no idea I had a lump in my neck either, it isn't usually a place on your body that you spend a lot of time looking at. If it weren't for him, who knows how long it would have been before I would have known. None of my doctors had ever noticed it. I was fortunate that mine wasn't cancerous, but it was scary all the same. I'm glad you were able to get the help you needed.
the part about the surgeon coming in with you just in the socks has me CRYING 🤣🤣🤣
OMG Sharla, I can't even imagine how stressed and anxious you were throughout all of this! I'm so glad that you're on the mend now! Sending love and hugs xxx

As a native Floridian and someone who's mother also had a tumor on her thyroid, I'm so glad that you had a good experience here, and I'm so happy for you that things ended as well as they possibly could!
In defense of you not noticing the tumor: it's not like it just appeared overnight. When something changes gradually, it can be hard to notice. Especially over the amount of time needed for something to grow to the size of a mandarin orange. Not to mention this thing grew through good old fashioned cell division, which isn't known for expedited growing.
I'm very happy that you found a great doctor and are okay!
No surprise that the center is in Florida. Every millionaire in the U.S. and Canada retires here, so we have all the best doctors and hospitals.
And, yeah, Florida is made fun of a lot, but there are a LOT of reasons that endless millions of people move here. Feel free to come back anytime!
I never hear of Florida being made fun of. In fact recently it is built up as the best place to live in the USA and so many people are moving there.
I'm so glad you are recovering well and it wasn't cancerous. I hope that you're fully back to exploring Japan and showing us vlogs from Sendai soon. Thank you for sharing this and all your volgs.
At the part where you said "95% chance it's cancer" my heart just sank. I'm so happy to hear that you're going to be ok Sharla.
Same! I was so worried
I had thyroid cancer and had my entire thyroid removed, and getting the medication correct is the worst! My scar is in the exact same place as yours and people don’t even notice since it’s healed for a few years now. It’s so awesome you don’t have to take the synthroid. It’s definitely a process that sticks with you your whole life, cancer or not. Are they having you do regular doctor visits? It was a lot at the beginning and now every year with blood tests every so often when my hormones are feeling “off”. Thanks for sharing your story. I enjoy all your vlogs wherever you are in the world. 💕
I just discovered your channel and I'm sorry to hear what you went through. I'm glad it's not cancer though! Hoping for a smooth recovery for you!

Totally! Glad Sharla spoke of this - now I'll make it a priority to get checked up cause truly, a lot of small changes in the body are often inconspicuos!
@@thetemperamentalecnomist1261 plus if you're a female go get your ovaries and uterus check up. I had to go through surgery last year because I kept having huge cyst on my right ovary. I just cannot understand how a doctor can say there’s a 95% chance of cancer, and oh by the way, you have to wait three months before we can say for sure…. That’s bad medicine right there. Having said that I’m so glad the tumor was benign, and that the surgery went well 👍 Have a great recovery, and do not worry about having to go on thyroid hormone replacement if you have to - I see patients like that all the time and they’re all doing fine. Stay happy, healthy, positive and strong, Sharla ❤️
That is because most there's a lot of factor that determine if is cancerous. Most obvious tell is the rate of growth. But even then they can't be sure. That is why multiple Dr visit is recommended. This is also a reason why there is no 1 way solutions to cancer.
That is why it's important to ask for another doctor's opinion because some diagnosis are based on the doctor's experience.
Ultrasound is not enough to diagnose anything really, even high tech one, you need CT and actual biopsy (without tumour removal) to know for sure. With thyroid they don't recommend biopsy while tumour is still there because chances that metastatic cells would break out though biopsy incision are extremely high and all nodes will have cancer in no time. That's probably why they removed it completely with lymph nodes first. Just to be safe. Hospitals are busy because of covid right now and countries who have history of nuclear disasters or nuclear weapon exposure have higher rate of thyroid cancer because it's more susceptible to radioactive iodine. Ukrainian doc here (hey Chernobyl) 👋 so Japan's rate of thyroid problems is probably higher and wait lists are longer for that reason. It's still too horrible and scary to wait that long...
I had softball sized growths found in my ovaries that were “emergencies” and needed surgery “right away.” They took nearly a month to get it scheduled and then the soonest they could get me in was about three months. Thankfully it was not cancer but did have serious life changing diagnosis. Then this spring I went blind in my right eye. I have an eye disease we knew about so weren’t sure it was that, I was rushed into the doctor, then another doctor, then found out I had a spontaneous cataract and they were concerned about the structure of the eye. They wanted to schedule surgery “immediately” as it was urgent, oh but also the surgeon was going on vacation that next week so I had to wait a little over a month. 🤦♀️ Gotta love medical chaos. (I had surgery, gained most vision again, just FYI.)
Yay for recovery and healing and benign tumor results!
This is the first time I'm coming across your channel. What a harrowing experience. You are quite remarkable for finding that specialty hospital taking charge of your health 💪 My family hides health stuff from each other so it's difficult navigating this sort of stuff because I don't know what it should look like. "Do you want to see my scar?" Um... YES. (That's a badass scar and I love how you absolutely don't care about having it.) Oh Sharla. I have hypothyroidism and honestly this is such a big fear for me. I've been avoiding going to the doctor since it is so scary... But I am scheduling an appointment with my doctor ASAP. Thank you so much for sharing this. Wish me luck! 🤞
You got this!!! The scariest part was waiting to see if it was cancerous or not. But the surgery was a breeze. So don’t worry if you need to have something similar💪🏻❤️
If it's not cancer and they just need to remove the thyroid, you don't necessarily need surgery, radiation therapy is really good for that because only the thyroid uses iodine so they can give you a radioactive iodine pill. Then you just take a pill to replace the thyroid hormones.
My doc says that with Hypothyroidism you should take an ultrasoundscan every half year or so. I have some little knot in mine as well but it didn get bigger so it seems okay.
@@sharlainjapanjust started watching the video so I'll probably come back after the end of it.
I discovered a tumour in my thyroid in December last year and after procedures (ultrasounds, blood tests, etc which took about 3 months) I got the news that there was a 99% possibility that it was cancer. Had the surgery in march (had so much luck that the surgeon had an opening less than a week after my endocrinologist sent me to see him). Had the surgery, which removed the whole thyroid, (which went great), started taking the hormones and in august I had the iodetherapy (had to be isolated for 10 days). Got the news that I was cancer free last month and now I just have to do some exams every 6 months (besides the one that I have this week) to control.
I'm saying that because it's not easy but I'm sure that, just like me, you're going to do great and get cured as soon as possible. 😘😘
@@carinameyer4156 Oh. :o I have never heard about that before. I have hypothyroidism, but no one has ever encouraged me to get an ultrasound that I can remember (might have had one in childhood, since my hypothyroidism is hereditary). I'll ask my doctor about it!

I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer, had the thyroidectomy, and the follow-up radioactive iodine in 2015. Check out thyca, they have some great resources that helped me along the way. Also, don't be afraid to talk to someone. Yes, this is one of the most survivable cancers when caught in time, but it's still cancer, it still sucks, and it can still make you feel exposed and vulnerable. Don't be afraid to seek help for what's happening in your mind as you're getting help for what's happening in your body. To give you a look at the other side, your scar will heal to almost nothing as long as you take care of it (keeping it out of the sun, moisturizer, and silicone bandages did the trick for me), you will take a pill every day an hour before you eat, and otherwise you're life will be no different than it was before. Good luck and Godspeed, internet stranger.

Don't be scared of the possibility of having to take hormones. In the beginning, it's tricky to get it to the desired level and it does mess with your overall health quite a lot. But after a while, once everything is figured out, you don't feel any different. At least that's how it is for most people and that's how it's been for me and my family. It only tends to get tricky again once you're pregnant or going though menopause (again, for most people). You're so strong for going through this with your head held high! ♥️ I hope your scar heals well so you don't have to feel uncomfortable. ♥️
I totally agree. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 5 years ago after having similar symptoms as Sharla (but weirdly, my thyroid is actually tiny and has no irregular growths) and it took about a year of gradual adjustments to find my perfect dosage of thyroxine. Ever since then, I have to take a pill every day but other than that I have been feeling great. My mum had to have her entire thyroid removed due to (luckily non cancerous) nodules but is also doing great just taking thyroxine.
Before you had mentioned that your sister was able to go with you to Florida, I had thought you were doing this entire thing solo, and had worried how you would manage everything post-surgery. I'm really glad she was able to be there with you to help as a second set of eyes and ears while at the surgeon's office as well as provide emotional support. It really helps to have that support. Also, I'm glad that your results were good. It's all scary when the word "cancer" is spoken by a doctor, so I can only imagine the level of anxiety that sprung into action coupled with the wait period before the surgery date. Hey, if anything, the rainbow knew all along it was going to work, and just was trying to give you a prism thumbs up.
sorry to hear. You are so brave and such an inspiration to people. Stay strong girl x
I’m so glad that you choose to spoke out about this and post a video on it around the time that I’m writing this I have a surgery scheduled for a cyst that I have on my ovary. So, thank you so much for posting and I hope you’re doing much better wish me luck :D
I had a cyst blocking my thyroid when I was 8, and this was in the 80s so my scar is...more noticeable than yours will be. It is also in a crease but in the middle crease of my neck, so it's rarely noticeable unless you're looking closely. But every once in a while, I get comments or questions about it. My response is ALWAYS "someone slit my throat when I was 8." I explain that it was surgery afterwards, but I shamelessly enjoy the horror on their face for a moment first.
In all seriousness though, I am really glad you're relatively ok and I'm glad you didn't go through it alone.
Edit: I forgot to say that I didn't say anything about the cyst for months because I didn't know that girls didn't have Adam's apples, so I thought it was normal, lol.
you're a legend
I had the same surgery when I was 10 and have the same scar. I say the same thing as you as to what happened as well lol. Glad I am not the only one :)
So happy you are doing well now... We always miss you when you are gone. Always take care of yourself and be healthy.
I wonder because there is another woman who got real, real sick while she is living in Japan. She too had to go back to her home country for treatment. Maybe I am just making something out of nothing, but it made me wonder if there is something there in the country that is making them sick? Maybe the material of the place she is living in or the food she has eaten over there? But if its not rampant amongst other foreigners in Japan then maybe I am just thinking too much into this. Hope so.
i’m a subscriber and an occasional viewer. so glad you’re okay now! crying a bit of happy tears as the story sounds terrifying and you’re such champ talking about it. thank you for sharing
I can't believe you went through this! Thank God you're doing better. I would have been so terrified. I'm glad you were able to get it treated. 💜
You did everything right, taking initiative yourself instead of waiting for appointments or doctors to care, and asking your family for help. Life is tough and often times things don't go as we would expect, especially in healthcare things. I'm glad you're okay now
As soon as you said the word cancer, I just started crying. I'm so happy that the surgery went well and that you're healing now! Those 3 months you endured must have been so stressful 😔 you're so strong Sharla. I'm really happy you're okay now ❤️
Your name is "underpants"
I totally wouldn’t have noticed that either! Thank you so much for sharing this crazy experience and I’m so happy you were able to get treatment :)
speedy recovery sharla, you’ve been always a strong one ♡
Thank you for coming out and talking about it. I’ve been struggling and so scared my self. I am having surgery this coming Tuesday to remove a tumor in my parotid gland (saliva). Doc won’t know for sure if it’s cancerous until they send it to be checked. You’ve given me some courage! I hope everything goes well for you. Prayers 🙏🏻
You’ve got this!! 💪🏻💪🏻 Wishing you the best of luck for your surgery and recovery☺️🙏🏻❤️
when you showed your sister I started having tears in my eyes. I don't know. I have no words Sharla. I follow you since such a long time now. I had to stop working litteraly when I saw this video. I'm so glad you're doing well now. wow.
Thank you so much for sharing this personal experience. I am so glad you acted quickly in this situation, are healthy, and are on the mend. So glad your family was there to support you during this scary time in your life. I absolutely love all of your videos and appreciate your fun lighthearted sense of humor. My continued positive vibes and prayers are being sent your way from one vlogger to another.
So happy to hear you are ok!
I really have a feeling internet is spying on us... It's been literally two weeks since I've learned I have a tumor in my thyroid. Already had a biopsy, the doctor said surgery is inevitable etc. And I'm just amazed at how I got this video recommendation completely out of nowhere. I'm glad you're okay and that the surgery went well! I can only hope my case will be the same.
Of course they are!
The hospital wait times are crazy in Korea, too. My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer and they told her to wait 4 months for surgery! Luckily, my uncle had his old "connections", and got her within 2 weeks. So glad you were able to find a doc in the US quickly and had no issues.
Truly sorry you have been through this , thank you for sharing your experience, wish you well xx
My wife has had Thyroid issues since she was young and has always been on Synthroid ever since I've known her. 7 years ago she had to have it completely removed. I'm not one of your regular watchers but I recognized you from a video from Abroad in Japan and was curious why you left Japan. I used to go to Japan twice a year for business (One of Fuji Film largest customers here in America). Glad it wasn't cancer and that you got it taken care of.
As someone with a dead thyroid, recommend that you read the latest book version of "stop the thyroid madness". There is many bad out of date doctors out there that don't know how to treat the thyroid correctly or get you on the correct levels, so you have to be your own advocate, and fire them if they don't make sense. Educate yourself before you need it, so that you can be your own advocate, because brain fog happens and makes everything harder.
This. I’ve never read the book but I highly recommend ensuring your doctor is following the Mayo Clinic guidelines (as opposed to whatever is printed on the lab report). The guidelines are narrower and therefore more likely to feel healthier when your levels are within them. Also, T3 levels are big for feeling exhausted. Don’t feel bad about asking for an extended panel to check your levels if you aren’t feeling right (some people really respond well to desiccated thyroid if that’s something you’re willing to experiment with - thyroid hormones are the first hormone therapy! It’s over 100 years old!)
I mean a specialist tho? Cause anything thyroid related should be second nature to an endocrinologist. Cause there’s a difference between them and an internist.
I've been on Levothyroxine since I was born and had never even heard of disputes about treatments until recently, no doctors have ever thought to mention it. I think it must be the only drug offered in the UK because they're all run by the NHS. Problem is I don't know if I feel normal or not because I have nothing to compare it to 😂
Hey guys you all need to go on a 100% raw fruit diet to get well. I am psoriasis and arthritis free after following the Dr Morse protocol. The greatest healer of our time. You can find him on RUclips and Facebook etc There are 1000's of people curing themselves with photographs etc. All disease is acidosis of the body from cooked foods.
@@___FS___ I’m in the same boat of having it since birth and in the UK on thyroxine.
My levels have always been a struggle to get under control though and I am always exhausted! I’ve seen endocrinologists but no one seems to get it right - and they’ve even said themselves that my levels aren’t right and it’s likely an absorption issue, but nothing is changing.
If you don’t feel poorly, then likely your levels are fine. Symptoms to look out for are constant exhaustion, brain fog and memory trouble, unexplained weight gain/difficulty to lose it.
Wishing you healthiness x
So so proud of you babe for being such a strong girl & sharing this. Love you to the moon and back and wishing you speedy recovery! 💕💕
Thanks so much for being there for me!! Don’t know what I’d do without you😭❤️
Hey glad you're feeling better, what a scary situation. If you went to Mayo Clinic, they're the best!
@@sharlainjapan prayers for you
Get well soon! Your composure is inspiring.
Love your videos they've helped me relax during some hard times take care glad to hear you're on the mend
I can't believe that first doctor told you such a hard estimate of 95% being cancer! Sure he can guess based off your age and the size, but that high of a percentage without even doing a biopsy is ridiculous. I'm glad you were able to get the care you needed and you were supported throughout all of this - health issues are super scary! I'm proud of you for being so strong. Have a good rest with your family!
Exactly, most thyroid nodules are benign, and a biopsy is mandatory for one this big. Going through similar but mine was caught early and, thankfully, benign as well!! I didn’t notice a thing, had no problem swallowing or talking. It’s completely normal not to notice it when it’s slow growing.
I got the news that I had a 99% chance of being cancer due to the morphology of the tumor (and what they got with the puncture result) so I guess maybe there might be some signs for the doctors that make them say that?
“Only 40 minutes walk, it wasn’t too bad” in Florida??
Anyway, you’re sooo strong for sharing your story! Glad you’re okay! 💕
I'm in Florida, and anything more than 5min in the summer is enough for me to pass out! Lol sharla is a strong woman! 💪
ehh, it does cool a bit in Florida, we get cold spells this time of year
When you live in Japan, since walking/biking is so common, a 40 minute walk really flies by. I remember after living in Tokyo for a year, when I moved back to the US, I walked everywhere in Arizona. And then I remembered why we have air conditioned cars in AZ and bought a car LOL 😅🤣
This was definitely the most Japanese thing ever 😂
Thanks for sharing your story and bringing awareness to this! Wishing you a long and healthy future!
this made me emotional! I'm glad you're doing better! 💖
my mother always taught me "get a second opinion", this kind of thing is why. i'm so happy that everything went smoothly
Absolutely! I got surgery to correct a deviated septum. The first doctor was indifferent (the surgery was optional in their mind), the second doctor ordered a CAT scan and in those images discovered a bone spur that was obstructing my breathing in addition to the deviation. That bone spur was removed. Imagine having a surgeon going in blind, missing that that, and then gaslighting you later if I continued to have issues... so glad I found an experienced surgeon who checked every box before proceeding with the surgery.
Yes, Florida is indeed hot AF. We have like 2 seasons here: Summer and January.
Sounds like a dream to me. In germany we have mostly: Winter/ Autumn about 15° celsius
@@v.8097 Sounds like a dream to me. California is too hot.
Thank you for sharing your story. I had a serious cancer scare this year. It's so scary, especially waiting for test results.
Oh my gosh 😰 so happy it was all ok! Thank you for being brave and sharing
Please continue to take care Sharla 🥺🥺💘
So sorry you had to go through this and so glad you're on the mend. ❤️
So glad you’re okay Sharla!!!
What a relief!! I’m so glad for you! Phew! ♥️♥️♥️
