Congrats on the marriage. Very happy for you. I'm 34 and in no way ready for kids. If it happens, it happens. If not, then that's okay too. My mother had me in her 40's and I turned out fine. I'm really not worried about it. Don't let people make u feel like u need to have kids right away. Enjoy ur marriage first. ❤️
I agree with you. I am 33, will be 34 next year and I'm still on the fence about kids. Hubby will be 40 this fall and he doesn't really want any kids. So I doubt their will be any for us in the future, but ehh who knows, could be possible too. But surely not making any effort to have any lol. Plus I have way too much student loan debt to pay off, would be too stressful to then have a kid and still have enough money to pay off loans. Also we both have some health issues that are being taken care of currently and will possibly be lifelong thing with going to doctors every couple of months, so yeah, that's extra stress too. Booo....

Sharla I think this is one of those rare videos that you have done that Maro and/or Luna hasn't came to see what you were up too.
Try to stay cool as best as you can. And I feel for Maro with that long coat of his that's also why Athena is Shaved. Could you imagine seeing Maro with the lion hair cut!?🙀😻🙀😻 He would be adorable but you know that Luna would be so laughing at him! ( I thinks I would have it done just to see, he would be cooler though in this humidity. And he is Younger than my kitty so he would bounce back better if they had to sedate him a bit so they could cut the fur).
Well, take care of you both and with your neck I'm not for sure I messed mine up just by sleeping wrong and had to use a tempur-pedic pillow to help cushion it while I slept at night and icy/hot muscle rub helps a bit.
My mom didn't have me until the year she turned 39, but I do think that the longer you wait the more problems can occur. Also my parents had a similar situation to yours where their families lived in different countries. My mom's family was in Canada and my dad's was in Switzerland. They ended up having two wedding ceremonies, one in Canada and one in Switzerland.
My mom had me when she was 42. She wouldn't have had problems if the doctor didn't diagnose her with being sick at the beginning. The medicine dried out the sac and I almost wasn't born

Try adding Turmeric to a smoothie or drink. It's a natural anti-inflammatory, it works wonders to loosen up sore muscles! I have chronic back pain and when I feel really stiff, I drink that and legit it loosens it up so well, I feel great!! Try adding like 2 teaspoons of it into a drink and then add black pepper ( the black pepper helps your body absorb the turmeric better). You can also look up "golden paste" which is a paste version of it. Good luck, hope you feel better! ❤️

I wanted to meet you to say hi but you went back home to Canada during that time (which is ironically where I live so fate would time things like this :D) so our paths never crossed. You don't have to worry about having kids too late! My mom had me when she was 40 and it was perfectly fine :) You shouldn't feel pressured to do it now. Do it when you're ready ^_^ But either way, we'll support you and love your baby no matter what :)

Ohmigosh I love giving solicited neck advice!
Since it's been a few days and your neck is still painful enough to limit movement, start icing once a day for 15 minutes. If the pain settles and mobility returns, start with heat packs for about 10 minutes only once a day at first. If the pain increases or returns, see a doctor. If neck mobility is still an issue in a few days time (read: 2 days) see your doctor. If the pain improves but lingers enough that you notice it, see your doctor.

Hey Sharla - I definitely understand the qualms Keyboard-San has with being on RUclips or on the internet for that matter. My partner Lana is exactly the same when I vlog but she's more strict about me vlogging when I'm at her house or in the neighbourhood mainly because we don't know who's watching etc. we are visiting Japan in October so it will be interesting how vlogging will turn out, I hope she can hold the camera at some point!

to help with your neck pain i use these one patches called 701 medicated plaster they help out with pain and i usually use them when my sciatica is acting up. i hope u feel better soon sharla.

stretching (when you think you are able to) but before that, keep it held with a neck cast thing to help it stay in 1 position. Massaging the area also can help (just make sure the massaging isnt worsening your condition). The point of stretch and massage in this case is to, just like working out, make micro tears so that your body and rebuild that part stronger and faster. I recommend the cast thing for the first day or so and after that try to slowly increase the mobility through stretches and massages
Idk how easy it is for you to get but I make/use essential oil for anything that hurts. I mix crushed up frankincense resin and mix it in coconut oil for pain relief. Hope you feel better soon!

what I did to help to beat the heat. buy 1 liter of water and freeze it over night and just keep it in your backpack. Cold water whenever you want and it lasts the whole day!

I had I really bad neck Injury once and I went to the doctors. They told me that even though it's painful, you have to keep moving it both sides because it's bad to not move at all. They recommended things that you can get from the store for pain but I just kinda yoloed it haha. Just move your neck slowly In the direction it's painful, it will heal promise!

If your neck pain is from muscle pain, get some magnesium oil off of iHerb and try applying it. It helps my neck if I've pulled something. (Doesn't work as well for me if my neck gets out of alignment, though...) Be well! 🙏🏼
I've had severe neck pain before and couldn't turn my head for a few days, the best relief I could find was taking a wet washcloth and warming it up in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until it was warm/slightly hot and wrapping it around my neck its really relaxing also muscle relaxers help but don't take too many lol :) Also Reckful is in Japan right now you should help show him around

Probably deep heat lotion would be helpful. Make shift neck brace with a towel to stop movement. Also look up neck and shoulders exercises. Soft massages.

Hey Sharla! I had a whiplash 10 years ago and have to take care of my neck aswell, because it hurts so much (it still does to this day). You could do some stretch exercises, which will make it more loose. Just lie down on your bed or couch and just slowly move your head to the left and then to the right (make sure you do it slowly, it is supposed to be relaxing). Or: lie down and put your arms beside you, then lift one arm up, slowly bring it down behind your head (no idea how to explain this) and then move it to the side again. Repeat this with both arms for about 6 times. Make sure you don't do anything that hurts, just do what feels right to you. What helped me most was paying attention to my posture. Posture is crucial in relieving your muscles of the neck and shoulders. Make sure your chest is forward and your back is straight and let your shoulders relax (They tend to roll forward and get tense when you are slouching). If your shoulders are tense, take a deep breath and once you breath out relax everything. You can also ask your husband to massage it for you! My boyfriend does this alot!

Oh my gosh. Sharla you look AMAZING for you age! Easily early twenties was my thought.
I had a kink in my neck like that a month and a half ago, use icy/hot, or some type of cooling/warming gel that helps with pain, and keep rotating your neck around to loosen up the muscles in your neck, as it's pulled tight from you kinking it. Imagine whenever you pull a muscle in your arm or leg, or when you get a charlie horse, you have to stretch the muscle to make it go back to normal. So yeah, it'll hurt, but not as much if you put some of that cooling/warming gel first before rotating your neck around. Keep rotating it, don't forget to, or it will just revert back to being tense.
I kept rotating my neck all day, every day, while doing work online, the more you do it, the less it aches and hurts.
The kink in my neck was so bad that I'd cut off talking whenever I moved it the wrong way, but then realized, the more I moved it, the better it got. It hurts the worst initially because imagine a rope pulled tight and trying to loosen that rope. That's how it is in your neck from the injury.

+sharmander for neck pain: Take a clean sock (the longer the better) and fill it with rice. Add something to make it smell nice, you can use things like essential oils or lavender, but I prefer cinnamon since it's not an overpowering scent. Heat it up for 3-6 minutes depending on your microwave/microwave oven/whatever you have you can use. You want it to be hot like a heating pad, but not so hot you'll burn yourself. You can also wrap it in a towel if it's super hot. This produces a nice moist heat which is good for neck pain (as well as jaw pain, ear infections, swollen glands, some migraines, etc).

How does your fiance feel about moving to Canada? If I remember right you said he doesn't really speak English :p He must feel nervous about that ^^
For your sore neck I recommend filling a long sock with rice and some sort of good smelling oil (lavender or something) and then sewing it shut. Microwave for a few seconds, maybe 15? And it feels really nice on your neck! Maybe not like a super helpful tip for a very pained neck but good for neck soreness
for your neck: put a warm towel for 15 minutes, then rest for 5 minutes. Then put ice for 15 minutes and rest for 5 minutes. and repeat this process, once you start feeling some relieve on the neck starts to stresh it on the 5 minutes rest. Something similar happened to last year and the doctor told me to do this. By the end of the day I was able to move my neck, it still hurt but at least a was able to move it. hope it work!
