I actually read up on it and he could fight that in court with a good law. Bc being “nerves and suspicious” is not probable cause. Probable cause is odor, things in plane sight, throwing stuff out the window, etc. technically using the dog is “searching” and he didn’t consent to a search so he violated his rights

Only if our criminal justice system was really about rehabilitation things such as this would be less often. Trying to get a decent paying job as a convicted felon is nearly impossible
I know this was 6 months ago but it's just not true. Me, my brother, and my best friend are all felons and we all got good jobs. We turned our lives around and when you get clean from drugs and really want to change, it shows. When I look at a picture of myself from 3 years ago vs what I look like now, it's a completely different person. I would guess that the felons that can't find jobs either aren't really fixing their lives or they aren't really trying to find a job.
Life is tough for a lot of folks man. Good for him for not fighting and for apologizing to his mom. Don’t know what his life has been like but feel very blessed for mine every time I watch these shows.

@Jack Benton I don't think 55 mph would warrant a ticket, but when everyone else is going 75+, driving 55 mph makes you stand out from the crowd and definitely catches a cop's eye, and then he looks for anything else that you might be doing wrong...
Driving slower by 20 mph puts you at a relative speed to 75 that is equal to driving 20 mph faster than 75. And you are basically an obstacle in the road everyone needs to avoid.
David Schmidt He wasn’t excited... K-9 Officers need to act excited for the dog when it alerts drugs so it knows it did a good job and that whenever they sniff out the drugs they’ll get rewarded.
I'm with you on that... I do believe they have a command, In other videos, the officer would tap the car and say "check here" and then the dog would "alert" to drugs by tapping on the spot that the officer did. Could have been an isolated incident however....
Adam Kamrath K9 gives the officer probable cause to search. If the officer that stopped you for a traffic violation does not have a K9 he cannot make you wait for a K9 squad to come, since there isn’t any probable cause.
What would be the point though? The dogs cant lie and the officer wouldn't get much if the dog said there was drugs but they searched the car and there wasn't any there. But thing to do is dont have anything illegal and you wont have to worry about it
Bryan Nerio - That's not true. Who told you that? A police officer can develop reasonable suspicion for any number of reasons, from body language (subject to the officers perception and discretion) to speech patterns and verbal remarks, to odors, to the area that he has stopped you in. It would not be wise to challenge an officer's right to detain you or search you because 99% of the time the court is going to side with the officer.
most people wouldnt even think about their moms in a situation like that. they would just be thinking about whats going to happen to them, where theyre going to go, and how to get out of the situation. meaning he had fully come to terms with the fact that he wasnt going home from the moment those red and blue lights came on. he didnt think of himself first, he thought of his momma. mad respect.
Avery Sheer only problem is the bank itself. Taking that much money in cash to a bank is suspicious. The teller would probably call the cops thinking you robbed someone and yours have the cash taken under seizure laws. Also, the guy probably doesn't have enough credit to open a bank account. If he turned to drug dealing, he has not legal funnel of money coming into his pocket and wasn't able to pay his bills. To fix the problem, he made money quickly, but illegally.
John Benson bhahahah. All you gotta say is you won at a casino. Some people know how to gamble. Banks never give me problems depositing that, but try to take out $1000 cash and they look at you like you are taking their money
TeeJayParkour could have easily gave him a command to do that, dog didn’t even want to smell the car he kept pulling it towards to car, of course the dog is gonna give in after awhile
@@DeezNuts-ps3zq i dont think thats how it works buddy.. most k9s are trained for far longer than officers are. but yeah all cops are corrupt and mistreat the innocent wahh

that was legit the only time ive ever watched this show and thought "yep that was definitely an alert by the dog" lol
Dog: does normal dog things
Cop: Yep, that’s a positive alert
Odd they always find drugs huh?
To be fair, I had a cop run a dog around my car. I didn’t have drugs and the dog didn’t alert.
The alert was when he locked onto the door and sat down. If they don't find anything they act disinterested, but when they focus on something as though it were someone holding a treat its an alert.
Well if you don’t have drugs you have nothing to worry about 😂😩
I think if there’s no drugs in the car the dog will not jump on the window or even interesting to the car
The cop was cool to let him send a text message
anam Yeah, that was good. The way my parents are, they'd be freaking out if they had no idea where I am. I'm not like, a teen or anything, but I'm ill, and they'd think I'd had a wreck or collapsed somewhere and be really at their wits' end if they didn't hear from me in how long it'd take to get my phone call. So that was nice to see, a golden rule type of thing.
That cop was not cool to pull over this man who was not harming anyone
Evan Bartholomew bro going 50 in a 70 is a disruption of traffic
He wasn't texting his mother. Momma is code for his partners he was informing them that he was busted.
Larvitar Dratini. I think you are correct , he seem desperate to do so.
If only he would have be doing 75 instead of 55...looking suspicious, he would be home with his henny and coke

Right chase wrong brand lol. Like.
He's still a better son than most people out there that don't even care to text or call their mom.
Nicolas Gonzalez the code for letting his people know he got caught.
Nicolas Gonzalez ....you dont get it....he texted his drug partners, under the guise of "mom."
Gregory Nelson hmmm could be, didnt even think of that...
Jesus you kids are something
First thought was to tell his mom he’s sorry.. very genuine. People make mistakes sometimes this truly is all some people know.. like a family business, just a cycle a very sad cycle
They put you in the system, they make it impossible to get a job afterwards then they wonder why this guys selling
Truth man
They can't stand the truth

In New Jersey, as an employer, it’s illegal now for me to ask if someone is a felon before formally extending an offer of employment.

I'm surprised the cops didn't catch that
When the officer read that text you could see his smile drop instantly. You can’t help but feel for the guy.
Don’t let this video distract you from the fact that Dj Khaled has been working out for 2 years and hasn’t lost any weight
Working out on eating out! He stays playin himself!
HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT HE EATS?
thelifeofkevo wtf, got me thinking now
Working out isn't nearly as important as a diet is if you want to lose weight.
I almost forgot thanks for reminding me
You ever notice all these drug dealers use these 500$ cars 😂😂
cheaper cars get less police attention
O K I mean I would agree with you, until every single drug dealer uses a shittie car like the one he was driving. Then, it becomes the norm that drug dealers drive cars like this.
@@LK-dn2ms If anything cheaper cars get more police attention
@@nick69420lol It would be smarter to drive a cheap car but keep it spotless, and mechanically sound. Do brake light checks, blinker checks etc. No tint, no mods, no wheels. But criminals get lazy.

Seems like dogs ALWAYS hit on cars
*dog sniffs his own balls* I think that was a hit!
if the dogs didn’t hit / nothing was wrong, it would be a waste to show us
carter fox they let people go all the time on live but those dogs basically alert every time
Of course, no easier way for cops to search your vehicle regardless of if you want them to or not.
seems like every time they hit on cars they find drugs or illegal contraband
how did his story make sense when he didn't even say nothing lmao
Cop: is your alignment off?
Guy: yeah

Cops excuse to search. They sure get lucky a lot.

Also he didn't want to be searched gave no conscent so how does that allow the police to run a dog by the car? That's not considered a search?
No
@@carulzz it should be thoe
I actually read up on it and he could fight that in court with a good law. Bc being “nerves and suspicious” is not probable cause. Probable cause is odor, things in plane sight, throwing stuff out the window, etc. technically using the dog is “searching” and he didn’t consent to a search so he violated his rights

tyä ukko I’m sure he gonna get it back once he’s out, don’t know if they gonna use that as evidence from the drugs
Jeffrey Diaz they don't give cash back, even if your found innocent, that's why pimps would wear a lot of gold chains back in the day, because they give back jewelry and the value of gold is usually always good
Asset forfeiture if anything you own is believed to be used in sale of drugs the cops can seize it. That includes cash and cars. And that money goes to right t
Into the police pockets
Yup, civil asset forfeiture is pure evil.
Only if our criminal justice system was really about rehabilitation things such as this would be less often. Trying to get a decent paying job as a convicted felon is nearly impossible
Ali Holmes agree!!!!!
Exactly
Everyone knows the rules/laws. You choose to break them. I'm not perfect but I don't blame the system for my mistakes.
@Kitten Lyric gain trust then betray 😂

"Yeah yeah its off"
"Asked him to step out cause his story wasnt making sense"

Bro, dudes doing 50-55 in a 75 lol I hate cops trust me but alignment doesn’t cause that
So this is my homeboy, and I love him so much. And thank God he is now hustling legally. Works in housing for the homeless, sells books online and is the best human you can have as a friend. I love you G!!!
55 in a 75? you dont NEED to go the speed *limit*
@Jack Benton I don't think 55 mph would warrant a ticket, but when everyone else is going 75+, driving 55 mph makes you stand out from the crowd and definitely catches a cop's eye, and then he looks for anything else that you might be doing wrong...
I bet you drive slow in the fast lane too.
Driving slower by 20 mph puts you at a relative speed to 75 that is equal to driving 20 mph faster than 75. And you are basically an obstacle in the road everyone needs to avoid.
Lmao he so excited to find drugs 💀
Weirdflower the worst part is they constantly say "there driving across the line" yet the cameras just are rolling and the guys driving dead straight
Thebassinkid. There’s a lot they don’t show you
Cops that are excited to arrest people are not what we need. If I were a cop obviously I'd arrest people but it wouldn't make me feel good.
David Schmidt He wasn’t excited... K-9 Officers need to act excited for the dog when it alerts drugs so it knows it did a good job and that whenever they sniff out the drugs they’ll get rewarded.
He honestly seems like a good man, hope he gets life turned around.
he's still in prison
Ha! He whispered to the dog "lets go find some drugs" priceless
His dog: “I helpin’ my dad!” 😊
He knew when the dog locked up it's time to tell Momma sorry
I love how they weighed out the drugs with his scale 😂💀
That's the first time I saw a K-9 actually alert in this show
How they let dogs be the one thing that allows you to enter someone’s car? Can’t you just train a dog to give a command?
I'm with you on that... I do believe they have a command, In other videos, the officer would tap the car and say "check here" and then the dog would "alert" to drugs by tapping on the spot that the officer did. Could have been an isolated incident however....
Theoretically I guess...but that sounds like a reach. Kind of paranoid.
He must have 20/20 vision cause he’s driving with sun glasses on
Jourdan Leggett at night ( spongebob voice)
Plot twist: the officer is high so he is just hiding his eyes
That cash is gone
YankeesFanForLife27 Oh it aint gone but it aint in the evidence room.😜
most people wouldnt even think about their moms in a situation like that. they would just be thinking about whats going to happen to them, where theyre going to go, and how to get out of the situation. meaning he had fully come to terms with the fact that he wasnt going home from the moment those red and blue lights came on. he didnt think of himself first, he thought of his momma. mad respect.
Should’ve left all that cash at home or in a bank no reason to be riding around with all that
Dude it was like 300 $ lol
Rod didn’t pay that much attention to it dude...
I mean it was definitely drug money but I don't think it was over 500 tbh.
"I think it's cocaine, we're gonna have to test it" *starts snorting*
Lmao tapped the door the dog jumps towards where the cop taps , “oh my K-9 alerted drugs” kind of bs is that
They tap the part the dog is supposed to sniff. They will determine if the dog alerted based off the dogs behavior after he sniffs that area.
The dog sitting down is the alert you fools
TeeJayParkour could have easily gave him a command to do that, dog didn’t even want to smell the car he kept pulling it towards to car, of course the dog is gonna give in after awhile

I feel like the dogs are trained to alert even if nothing is there just to let them search anyway, and if they don’t find anything then it doesn’t matter
yea they always use that excuse
I do feel like it’s a little whack, i saw another comment on one of these where if the dog doesn’t smell anything the first time, it will hit the second time to get appraisal so it is kind of rigged
I actually feel sympathy for that man. He was very respectful. He knew he was in trouble and accepted the outcome after the dog hit. I almost wanted to hear the officer say " drive safer, change your life, and goodnight."
He says to the dog “lets go find some drugs” 🤦♀️
What's the problem
well yea...what else should he have said...
@@TackyFlamingo It's judgment and assumption. If you can't see the problem then you're likely part of it.
