@@isserdigan2835 You’re extremely sensitive, I didn’t say anything bad, only that Lucid was an alternative to Tesla and Elon. You assumed something I didn’t say.
Lucids marketing department is terrible at the moment. They don't put effort into it compared to their cars. That might change though in the next few years with them working with the Cali PD and some partnerships they're working on.
You are right with every thing in this video on the Lucid except on the comparison. This actually for those who see this comment, is compared to the S-Class, 7 Series and A8. The car sits in size with the the mid class luxury German competitors but in interior space is a to amp up to the the flagship models for the cost. Remember EV'S don't need the extra room for engine space. And Lucid as unique as they are do a design call the space concept. While other companies built from the outside in Lucid designs from the inside out. This is why they can get the enormous space inside the car that they have.
There is more to the flagship s-class, 7-series and a8 level cars than just space tho. It’s the features. The materials. Technology, class-leading features, executive rear seating, etc. Definitely really like the Lucid, but it’s not quite flagship exec sedan level
@EddieX yes, that is true. However Lucid has a different approach to Luxury than the German competitors. I know this because I have seen their Tech Talks on details on the Air itself. I have driven the Grand Touring and they are not far off from the Flagships as they look. However they try to focus on a Mid Century modern style with most of the accessibility through the screen. I will say the Legacy auto makers however have a trouble on competing with Lucid on the Range as well as performance takes. The Air and Gravity show this and of course leaves room for the future vehicle which will be 50,000 and will complete with the E-Class, 5 Series, and A6. But the Air is too top tier to focus on the German mid level cars. It is just not the market the Air was for. Also keep in mind the Air was north of 75,000 before Lucid was forced to drop prices because no matter how good the car was, their marketing strategy was just terrible on hitting sales targets. Which is why the cars are also priced lower then they should be. To give a Example the Air Dream Edition was 150,000 and climbed almost to 200,000 in value during its first appearance however Lucid didn't expect to deal with a challenging market and to make matters worse. The Media, has put bad proproganda on EV'S compared to ICE so that hurt their marketing strategy more trying to be the first Luxury EV start up. So the reason looks like it is close is not because of Lucid however they didn't predict the market, but because of how some industries are scared of innovation and change. But nonetheless Lucid even said the Air is a S-Class competitor and as a former and current Benz owner, I have to agree. But just some vehicles don't look like something, doesn't mean they don't compete in that spot. You just have to look at the design and engineering to know that company's approach to the competition. The Vice President head of Design Derek Jenkins explains this in one of his interviews with the Air prototype and the minimalistic approach to future Luxury PS. That Pure you are driving is missing a few features. Check the website for more details.
the lease deals on this car are incredible. they're pushing it hard and its a great car tbh. definitely noticing more on the road. i had the chance to drive one and my only real con is the roofline you mentioned. hit my head so many many times on it - its a sacrifice you have to make for the aero efficiency.
Good review. Yes, the Lucid's driving feel, not just the precise handling but the overall experience, it really sets the brand apart. You can tell that the engineers at Lucid are real car fans. Driving my Air GT for almost 3 years now I have been most surprised by the pace of over the air software updates and the new features they have delivered. The first thing to do with Car Play is to change that awful background to match the rest of the display. Recent ADAS updates have been really impressive, especially on cars with the Dream Drive Pro option.
With traveling from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Jacksonville Florida, Dallas Texas, Kansas city Missouri, Johnson city Tennessee, Chicago Illinois just to mention a few, I need a car that delivers range I bought the jaguar XJL and had it for 2 years. I was looking into buying a Lucid air which delivers a range of 500 to 516 miles. No I don't use all that technical crap either. When they told me it would cost me almost 100 grand, that did it. Hell no!! I really wanted one but I'm not spending no 100 grand for any car. My jaguar XJL is paid off at 41K and it provides me with 2.5 to 3.5 minutes of downtimes and a range of 570 miles!!! I'm keeping the jaguar but damn if I ever get the chance to get one at a more, (reasonable) price, I'll jump all over it...
There is no better quality test for suspension calibration than crappy, broken, absolutely TRASH Michigan roads - especially on the highway lol. You can't simulate those kinds of conditions.
I love how your girlfriend really isn’t that interested in cars like that but she loves your passion for it and supports it 100%
She’s the best 💙 I do love getting her perspective from a non car obsessed person haha
@@EddieX Also respect that you always open the door for her 🙌
The Lucid lease deals are the best in the EV industry right now. I wish more people knew about Lucid as an alternative to Tesla and Elon.
I’ve seen some pretty impressive lease deals for sure
Dont hate on Elon. 😂.

Test drove a Lucid Air it's an amazing car better than any other Ev I drove even better than my M3. planning to get one next year for sure.
Benchmarked with an M5. It does drive so smoothly. Make sure you get the 20 inch wheels
I just signed the lease for a nearly loaded Air Touring with $20K in discounts. I pick it up this Sunday.
I'm jelous
Angel is a sweetheart. Y’all have good vibes - she’s a keeper!
Get a lucid gravity if you want a family vehicle
I’m definitely excited to try out the Gravity
Best EV on the market
Beautiful couple… you can tell they were meant for each other 😊 lovely car too. Can’t wait to get a Lucid.
The button in the Frunk is to open it if someone tries to lock you inside. It's a safety item.
Angel adds a good perspective on the cars from a non-car person.
If I lived in US there is no doubt this would be my car of choice! 70k invested in stock, I expect huge payday from my $2 average

I imagine that trunk button is a release if someone gets trapped inside. Thanks for the review.
Possibly! I thought those had to be one of the glow in the dark handles or levers
At 70 miles an hour, 1:22 aerodynamics play a huge role in your efficiency.
Absolutely. It’s pretty crazy how much even 2-3 mph difference makes at that speed
Love that you get her door.
Lcid is cheap get it while it’s on sale (long hold)

Kick to open for trunk and frunk would be great. Maybe in the future.
Ordered this EXACT same one just last night!
Great car & great review Eddie.
So much better looking than a Tesla but man still too pricey. They need a $50k model
It took Tesla a bit to get to model 3 and Y! Hopefully after the Gravity, lucid can get to an even more entry level model.
Thank you for this review. I liked the vibe...
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO LUCID🏆🏁 FAMILY WOOHOO!😁🥳🥳🥳🎇🎆🎇🎆🎇❤️🙋♂️🙌💎💎💎 KEEP ADDING ON TO YOUR LUCID POSITIONS EVERYONE GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE!😉👍

Take a look at lightly used Lucids. There are some insane deals out there.
You make the Asian community very proud
best EV
Sick 😷 I like all the Lucid cars
I see where Dodge got their new design for the Challenger and Charger. 😅
Which looks better 👀🤣
Fade strong

Nice car but personally couldn't live with that much depreciation.
Eddie outkicked his coverage big time on the girlfriend front…..Good for Eddie
Kicked into the stadium three towns over. Haha thanks! I’m very lucky
😂 thanks for the video.
Glad you enjoyed it!

So it has 1 pedal pervert mode as standard?
1 pedal what
Test of a 2024 Mazda Mx-5 and living with?
I’ll try, maybe next summer!
👋🏻
Your gf so pretty you are lucky man
I am indeed very lucky
$75K? Better check that resale price again 😂
I like the look of the Lucid, yet I would get a BMW M4 for the price if the Lucid Air Pure was $10,000 less, I would get the Lucid over the BMW M4.
Lucid might not even survive
The "living with...!!" concept is getting boring. As well as the "what's it like to own" variant.
HURRY UP BRING THAT TO UK
