The show was fantastic at being profane without being profane, like when Rose tells of when she and Charlie were making love for the last time, instead of what many of us say when climaxing during sex, Charlie said, "Rose, I'm going, I'm going." I think that's brilliant, clever writing.

What I love most about Blanche is her sense of humor about herself. She took it on the chin a lot from Dorothy and Sophia, and on occasion from Rose, but when you pissed her off enough, she went straight for the jugular. No regrets.
Absolutely lives a no regrets life. She did take a lot from them both-- especially Sophia.
That's Southern Ladies in general.

During the Lazlo scene Rose came back hard after Blanch's sea world gibe, by saying "or to your bath tub!" You should make a video of the scenes where Rose goes from mild to fiery.
Rose could throw out some great zingers! One of my favorites is when she called Blanche a "hypersexual bitch"! That was probably the first time I heard the word bitch on a regular TV channel and I can only imagine how much trouble they had getting it past the censors!

I'm guessing she drove either an Electra/Park Avenue, Regal, or a Riviera. In the episode where she is trying to sell her car to Rose, Rose makes the crack "MY car says "Practical". YOUR car says........"Available." To me, those were the 3 Buick models that really DID say "Available" the best, with all due respect to a former Regal owner.
