- How do pilots draw pictures in flight aware? I did it and I will talk you through it in this video. How I draw pictures in flight aware.

AWESOME!!! So did you hear the weird dude on 122.8 that kept saying "Big Weiners" over and over? It was really weird. I had to cut it out of the video like 3 times.

Giant sky pee pee over my small town in NSW...because the local council was hurting the local pilots.
Came in on 0' for 6 seconds, out to 45' for ten seconds then a 630' turn to starboard return on 225' for 13 seconds, sharp port turn for 2-3 seconds then a lazy rate 1, 120' circle turn to starboard then break port and end.
Beautiful.

Nice. It looks pretty good 😁 on my first solo flight outside the pattern, I wrote the word "solo" (probably not advisable for a student solo pilot, but it was fun and I was careful about it). It was harder than I thought and didn't look all that great.

Now Bryan, you have created another type of aviation competition that we GA pilots can go for. I would call it Aerial Artistic Calligraphy. And judge it like the in the boxes and pattern routines of aerobatic competitions. Yes very good skills training also.
I see you did something more creative on Christmas, I just went and converted fuel into BTUs. I created a bunch of User Waypoints "35WENTRY" "35DNWN" "35BASE" 35FINAL" and "07TS" so I could have the A/P fly the pattern at my airpark as it is hard to find. It is a grass runway nestled into a bunch of houses.
Down between KGTU and T74
I also have RWY17 and RWY35 which are 5 miles out on the centerline so I can do straight in approaches after cross-countries.

Okay, I give up. How do you draw a shape in Google Earth? I see how you can draw straight lines using "Add Path or Polygon" but it doesn't allow you to draw a shape. I'm on a Mac Pro using a trackpad in case that matters. User error for sure. Any ideas?

Export the layer from Google Earth as a kml file transfer it to ipad open it with foreflight
I think drawing pictures in Flightaware should be a CPL requirement :)
I drew a bunch of spirals once. 100% nothing to do with practicing turns around a point
I hear there's an app that makes it really easy to draw pics if you use 5-flight.
