I strongly doubt that those speakers can sound very exciting. However, it is possible that with this kind of enclosure the sound can get kind of more "body". But those speakers are smol chip speakers, so the result can only be what it is.

This is the first one of his designs that appears to be a properly designed rear loaded horn. Most of his cabinets display some good wood working skills but no speaker design skills with features that make no sense. This could have been built with a Tang Band W3-881SJF which has almost identical specifications including a fs of 100 hz but an easy to flush mount round frame which would eliminate some diffraction. Best he's done.

I feel these are the best sounding speakers I've heard yet that Yamanaka Syujiro has made. They have just the right balance and tonality.
